Chapter 946: Kill The Boar King!
Chapter 946: Kill The Boar King!
"Do you know that place?" Loya asked.
"Hmm? I don’t think so," Inala shook his head, ’Of course, I know that place!’
The Rumtara Kingdom!
A place famed for its incompetent governance and plagued by invasions so much that they formed the largest batch of refugees flocking to the Brimgan Empire. When Inala and Asaeya entered the Brimgan Empire, they had taken the status of a refugee from the Rumtara Kingdom.
Strategically, Rumtara Kingdom had made no waves among the Free Humans. Of course, historians at the Brimgan Empire researched upon the Kingdom and simply labelled its existence as a ’manufactured miracle.’
The Rumtara Kingdom was located in a fertile region blessed with plenty of mineral deposits, including Silver Grade mineral deposits. As a result, no matter how many times the Kingdom collapsed, the survivors rebuilt it because the sheer resources produced there gave them hope.
That wasn’t the only reason they continued to exist for a long time. Whenever someone committed a crime at the Brimgan Empire and didn’t wish to face punishment, the Rumtara Kingdom was where they fled to.
Also, whenever the Rumtara Kingdom needed more human power, the Brimgan Empire would chuck at them all dregs from its society. The Brimgan Empire was a place where contributing citizens were valued the most.
Those who simply sat and grew fat were given enough chances. And if they still contributed nothing to society, they were banished to the Rumtara Kingdom. As for their fate, that was for the higher-ups of the Rumtara Kingdom to decide.
The Kingdom accepted these people as they were considered dregs only from the Brimgan Empire’s standards. They would have significant value in a Kingdom.
"I couldn’t infiltrate the place properly, since I didn’t have the necessary capability." Loya shook its head, "Which is why I arrived here, in order to better equip myself with whatever is necessary."
"What are your thoughts, Leukeu?" Loya asked next as it stared at Inala.
’It wouldn’t have revealed all this to me if it didn’t seek my Cooperation.’ Inala thought and smiled to give his answer, ’I too am damn curious about what this place is.’
Brangara, as the Celestial Boar, at the 9-Life Stage, fully equipped to deal with the Mystic Seven at the Third Major Disaster was still hesitant about going all out at the Brimgan Empire. This was despite him having the strength to stomp the Brimgan Empire many times over.
He was hesitant solely because of the Brimgan Empire’s trump cards. Him striking them openly meant the Empire’s utter destruction, forcing them to bombard him with everything they had, including whatever horrors they had created through their experience of withstanding three invasions.
Inala knew of the Brimgan Empire’s so-called trump cards, a piece of information he obtained from the memories of the Brangara body he had captured. Brangara gained that piece of information from a Mystic Tentacle Ruin he had explored in the past.
There was no information regarding the trump card itself, but the fact that even a Mystic Tentacle wrote about it spoke volumes. ’They truly have a lot going for them to have stood tall for this long.’
"I’m on board," Inala shook hands with the Panger, Loya.
[I will gladly tell you the method I employed to gain a Secondary Nature, if you promise to give full support to my development.]
"That goes without saying." Loya accepted the deal, "Here’s to a happy cooperation."
’Now, I think it has become realistic in trying to obtain a Panger’s Harmony Spirit Weapon.’ Inala grinned. He didn’t wish to butt heads trying to upgrade a Panger’s Spirit Weapon on his own. That would take too much time, even for him.
He wished to explore Sumatra while conducting research, not be holed up in a cave for decades. Hence, the best option was to have a competent Panger accompany him on his journey. With the duo working together, Inala was confident in creating a Harmony Spirit Weapon of the Panger Race.
It would be the strongest counter, so he was pretty satisfied with the outcome. ’I get to figure out the Brimgan Empire’s trump card alongside being able to develop the Panger’s build. It cannot get better than this.’
Inala and Loya casually conversed, unbothered with the chaos, as thanks to Loya’s Shield of Thorns, anyone who targeted them only suffered instead.
In the meantime, the Empyrean Colosseum was a mess as everyone was in a battle against everyone else. At the centre of the chaos was KalTara, besieged by a large group of Free Humans who had taken up formations designed specifically to keep him in place.
In the meantime, Mesupoh unleashed his Blessed Influence of Enhanced Eddy that was activated alongside the Blessed Influence of Mesupoh. He was employing the Blessed Influence of Astral Stack to unleash this effect.
Its function was merely restrictive in that even if KalTara were to steal it, he couldn’t use it. After all, the moment he were to activate it, the effects of the Blessed Influence of Mesupoh would seep into him and affect him, dropping his concentration and turning him mad.
With the quality of a Boar King’s Prana, KalTara would quickly make a recovery. However, in a battle, he had to maintain peak clarity of mind. Otherwise, he would be the one to suffer, since the population of his enemies dwarfed his.
"Maintain distance!"
"Attack from afar!"
"Flee the moment he comes close!"
The Free Humans encircled KalTara, having erected multiple rocky layers around the target. These rocky layers were amplified by the Empyrean Colosseum and unleashed a stronger suppressive effect on KalTara.
Buty despite everything, a Boar King was a Boar King. The moment he was in a desperate state, KalTara could pull out the big guns.
Astral Chart—Shredded Lunge x10!
Wind blades flew off radially as KalTara flickered to an arm’s length of a Free Human. A cursory glance later, he swiped with his hand and cleaved the target into two. Without hesitation, he crunched upon the severed halves, bones and Human Avatar included.
This allowed him to recover some Prana as KalTara extended his hand towards a Free Human each. His expression morphed all of a sudden as his figure flickered away, watching deep gashes that had appeared on his right and at the severed wrists on his left.
"Are you...DECLARING WAR?" He roared towards the stands and glared at the group of Free Humans from the Brimgan Empire. His attention was especially focused upon the leader of the group, "Bronsk! Brimgan! Is this what you want, now?"
"The Brimgan Empire’s affairs are only its citizens’ concern." Bronsk Brimgan expressed arrogantly as twenty golden flashes revolved around him before swarming KalTara, "We’re not obligated to explain ourselves to any external parties."
"Fucker! Of course it’s my concern!" KalTara shouted as he barely managed to target some wind blades towards the golden flashes and used the leaping power of Shredded Lunge to jump behind a group of Free Humans, "You’re attacking me!"
He grabbed a Free Human by the neck and raised him as a shield to defend against a golden flash. However, Bronsk Brimgan had more than enough control to smoothly swerve around the Free Human and stab into KalTara.
Boom!
He assumed Pranic Beast form and sent the nearby Free Humans flying as a few chakrams slammed into his body and stopped after lodging themselves partway. KalTara flexed his muscles and they were pushed out.
Immediately in response, Bronsk Brimgan targeted with another Spirit Weapon. It was an elongated wedge, lodging into the flesh as it widened itself, refusing to be pushed out. Right as it had done so, a hammerhead-shaped Spirit Weapon slammed into its rear, pushing it further inside.
Since KalTara had tough defences, Bronsk Brimgan intended to systematically dismantle the latter’s guard before going in for a serious attack.
Blessed Influence—Ring Blade!
KalTara absorbed the Blessed Influence of a Free Human he had killed and activated the power, pulsing out a ring of Prana that intended to sever through all enemies in his Spirit Weapon range.
"Defend!"
"Hold steady!"
The Free Humans roared as they erected and combined their defences. Most of them moved behind the erected rock pillars to hide while also employing other defensive means. But a second later, a series of ring blades flashed through the surroundings and shredded through all their defences.
A wave of wind blades followed suit and raised a sea of blood. And at the same pace, the wind blades swerved through the blood mist and cleared it all. Actually, these series of wind blades had compressed and gathered the blood mist into a semi-solid form. Before they dissipated, they chucked all the blood into KalTara’s mouth. "Tastes bad, but it’ll do."
As his Prana values began to recover once again, KalTara stared at Mesupoh and flickered towards the latter, "You’re annoying. I’ll kill you first..."
"Guh!" With a widened expression, KalTara crashed into the stands and got up in a hurry, his expression now solemn to see a new group of enemies had arrived, "Even the Mystic Humans are joining the mess?"
"We always intended to." Councilman Hyak said as he donned a Tratham armour that emitted a reddish hue. It was his attack that sent KalTara crashing into the stands. ’Impressive!’
’Even after taking my full-powered attack to the face, he’s barely injured.’ Greed permeated through his gaze as he observed KalTara walk out of a crater upon assuming human form, ’Boar King! Indeed, it has to be this body! It has clear traces of the absolute strength our founder wields!’
Virala had displayed the power of his Empyrean Boar King body on numerous occasions. In physical combat, he had used it to best even the Celestial Boar. There was no longer an Empyrean Boar King body that the Mystic Humans could take advantage of.
However, the Boar King now existed, right before their eyes in fact. ’I’m not sure if a Wean Clansman would satisfy the conditions. But we’ll know that once we experiment.’
Councilman Hyak desired the Boar King’s body, for through it, the Mystic Humans could take advantage of Virala’s combat style. In terms of physical reinforcement using psychokinesis, the Empyrean Boar King seemed exceptionally compatible.
The Boar King was a diluted version of the same. Meaning, the Mystic Humans with this body would be their strongest close-combat fighters. "Everyone..."
"That’s our target!" Councilman Hyak announced as all the Mystic Humans targeted KalTara. Currently, the Varahan Empire, Brimgan Empire, and Mystic Humans were ganging up on KalTara. They were merely the start of the line, as during the Varahan Challenge, KalTara had clearly given them all a cause for concern.
If left to develop freely, KalTara would eventually become a second Brangara. And none at the scene wanted such an absolute powerhouse to emerge ever again, one that would force all into hiding.
"Go!"
"Destroy the Wean Clan!"
"What about the Varahan Empire’s Free Humans?"
"They’re not as severe a threat as the Wean Clan."
The Pranic Beasts communicated and jumped into the fray, all deciding to wipe out the Wean Clan. But first, they needed to kill their greatest opponent, KalTara.
"Kill the Boar King!"
