Idol Revive: If I Don't Debut, I'll Disappear
Chapter 71 - 3rd Public Episode (1)

Chapter 71: 3rd Public Episode (1)

During the first and second episode, Idol:Revive had been making waves in the Internet. Because the participants were quite busy preparing for the first round, they didn’t notice it. Not until they received the daily bombardment from the system whenever they reached a milestone impression count.

Especially Yeo Haru.

What Cactus Boy? Who cares about a comedic dancer? What MJ reincarnate? It’s just a kid!

Forget about them. There’s that one participant that managed to get nine sponsors in one go! And hell, it was even the whole group of Immortals!

One K-netizen even asked on a K-pop forum,

[Who’s this Yeo Haru? Is he a trainee from a well-known company? How come I’ve never heard of him before? (Yeo Haru photo)

#Jeongwoon #Immortals #IdolRe]

The thread garnered attention from different people, all commenting question marks.

– ?? The who?

– Someone unknown

– unknown but cute. Very good dancer!

– Jiji was better. Yeo Haru is only famous because he’s riding his seniors’ fame.

>> That Jiji didn’t even dance an idol song

>> Jiji? Dunno that. I only know this guy because of Immortals, but who cares?

– Why tag Jeongwoon and Immortals? Stop baiting people just to get views!

>> OP replied: I’m not baiting. Jeongwoonie and the others appeared on Idol:Revive as sponsors. They chose this good participant Yeo Haru. I guess you don’t follow them as much.

>> Huh? What Idol:Revive?

>> OP replied: Apparently, it’s kinda like an audition program to create an idol group, but only under Flower Garden Agency.

>> Sauce?

>> OP replied: www.xxx.com

The second wave of the aftermath that the sponsors brought to the show was fully maximized by the staff members by posting more non-broadcast contents including the participants’ introduction videos. Of course, those who had become active viewers were glad to receive it.

However, there were those who were wondering.

[Just where did Flower Garden come from?]

– Flower Garden was a newly registered company.

– Flower Garden? New small company?

– Someone said it’s small? They’re bigger than the big four LOL.

>> There’s someone bigger now?

>> Big four are big four because they got well-known groups. Flower Garden? They’re just moneybags without even a single group.

>> Big four are nothing. Flower Garden could just buy these big four’s idols to be their trainees’ sponsors lol.

– ??? Who’s this Flower Garden? I seem to be seeing more posts about them.

– (shrugging GIF)

There were various topic to talk about, even just from the first two episodes. When the third episode started airing, these people didn’t expect to receive another bomb.

On Flower Garden’s Leisure floor, the participants were tuning in to the third episode. Rayen and Adrian intently watched the familiar turn of events on the screen, each had their own thoughts.

Rayen recalled his embarrassing moments, wondering if it would be shown on the episode. Inwardly, he was hoping it wouldn’t.

And as expected, reality always deviated from his hopes.

After the ranking list from the 34th to the 11th places were displayed, Yeon Miwol’s voice echoed through the speakers around the hall. On the screen, the participants who recognized the voice back then were briefly shown. There were even exclamation and question marks that popped out from their heads.

A woman participant’s eyes gleamed as she excitedly blurted out, "Really? Is it really her?"

Murmurs resounded from the video. Rayen recognized just now that the person he had imitated back then was Ms. Hard worker from Iris’s group during first round.

A caption appeared below.

[Who’re they talking about?]

The scene switched to a clip of a silky white legs wearing a red high heels, camera rising until the upper body was shown. The camera angles repeatedly switched but it always avoided showing the face to create a suspenseful reveal.

Bullet comments filled the screen, annoying some of the participants who were watching from the center hall.

– Gosh. Is it really who I’m thinking about?

– That’s Flower Garden. I’m sure we’re all thinking the same.

– On the first episodes, I always thought they were tight in budget after pulling those heavy-weight sponsors, so they couldn’t get an MC. But now... I give up. How do I join this company?

– YMW?

– After Immortals, now, YMW?

– Calm down guys, we’re still not sure about it.

Because the comments filled the screen, the participants were screaming in their minds.

’Please turn it off!’

Rayen’s eyes hurt from the wind-passing comments on the screen, so he briefly turned away his gaze. Just then, he saw Yeo Haru arrive.

Yeo Haru had been in the arcade since morning. It was bustling that time, but he didn’t know when... The other participants suddenly disappeared around him, until he was the only one left on the arcade, so he wandered around in confusion.

When he saw the crowd gathering at the center hall, he finally realized where they all disappeared to.

Exactly as Yeo Haru joined the crowd, his ranking introduction played.

– Is this Immortals’s chicken?

– Yes, yes.

– He’s somewhat uh... charming.

– How does he spot every camera?

As Yeo Haru stepped into the stage, he confidently struck a pose with every steps. After the snippets of his audition briefly played, an interview of him was inserted.

"What do you think your greatest advantage is from the other participants?"

The eyes of the Yeo Haru on screen flitted up as he thought of an answer.

"I’m confident."

– He’s definitely confident.

– Sure, sure.

Meanwhile, the real Yeo Haru turned his gaze away from the screen and met Rayen’s gaze. Instantly brightening up, Yeo Haru headed toward Rayen.

"They cut my statement!" Yeo Haru said as he approached.

Rayen sighed.

’Why’s this guy heading towards me?’

Observing Yeo Haru for a moment, Adrian asked him, "What did you really say?"

’Who’s this guy?’ Yeo Haru thought.

His mouth moved in a different way though. "I said I’m confident of my dancing skills!"

Adrian chuckled before introducing himself, "Nice to meet you. I’m Adrian."

"Hi, brother. I’m Yeo Haru, nice to meet you too!"

They smiled to each other as they shook their hands.

"We should add each other as friends after we get back our phones. I still haven’t finished the ’Meeting new friends’ weekly mission," Adrian said.

"Meeting new friends? Weekly mission?" Rayen and Yeo Haru both tilted their heads in confusion.

Adrian blinked. "You don’t know?"

They shook their heads in response.

Oh well, even if Rayen had Mini Plotter, he didn’t even know that he could set his stage name himself.

’Well, it was really in a very much hidden place,’ Adrian thought.

"I can’t show you right now, but under the Main Missions, there was another list of missions under it."

’Why didn’t I know that?’ Rayen thought.

As a former mobile games addict, Rayen felt ashamed of not noticing that. Although it was probably because he was too busy with the ranking mission to even pay attention.

’And Plotter should improve that shitty system’s UI! It’s all too jumbled up!’

They’ve already been here for almost three weeks now, Rayen thought, but he hadn’t received any weekly mission accomplishment notification. Was it because he hadn’t completed it?

Just then, another voice interrupted their greetings.

"Can I also join you guys?"
