Chapter 134: Flowers

[Create team logo design.]

Everyone sighed exasperatedly.

"Is anyone here good at drawing?" Adrian asked behind him.

This time, Yeo Haru shut his mouth.

Xu Jiji also answered, "I can’t."

Receiving no positive response, Adrian glanced at Rayen.

"Not me," Rayen responded, avoiding his gaze.

Iris also shook her head. Only Ayumi remained impassive.

Adrian asked her, "Can you?"

It took a long time for her to answer.

"I’ll try."

Ayumi reached out for one of the paper and pens inside the pot. After that, the team went to one of the tables assigned for them. Then, she started drawing a flower on the surface of the paper. The team members behind her watched intently, but soon, Adrian had to reach out and tap Ayumi’s shoulder.

"I think I’ll do it..." he said.

Ayumi briefly stared at him, but soon handed the pen over to him.

"....."

Adrian sighed. He stared at the childish drawing of a flower on it before gazing back to his teammates.

"What ideas were you planning on drawing?" he asked.

Ayumi uttered the most obvious and simple answer to Adrian’s question.

"Flowers."

Adrian pursed his lips at the response that lacked so much imagination. Just then, Plotter’s voice came through the speakers, announcing the other teams’ success in finishing the second round.

"Is it not good?" Ayumi asked, tilting her head. Her round eyes were so innocent that Adrian didn’t know how to respond to her question.

Looking at the childish flowers on the paper, though, Adrian seemed skeptical about it. But his eyes also peeked at the other team who had caught up with them.

’It’s better than nothing.’

Adrian decided to hear it out.

"It’s fine..."

"Then let me finish it. I was just about to draw th—"

Adrian politely interrupted her. "Just describe it. I’ll try drawing it."

"Okay..." she said. "It’s flowers."

Rayen and the others wanted to face palm. He knew it. Just from the team names that had been submitted earlier, he had already sensed the talentlessness of everyone in this team with arts.

But Ayumi added more, "A bouquet of flowers. Make the number 7 be the wrapper then draw flowers above it."

Adrian paused for a moment to imagine it. After a moment, he finally moved. Yet, his hand only hovered above the paper, moving it as if he was drawing something but wasn’t.

"Ugh, how do I do this?" he asked frustratingly.

Rayen clicked his tongue and snatched the pen from him.

"Move aside."

"I thought you can’t?"

"Just freaking write seven."

As Rayen said that, his hand moved swiftly, drawing the number seven under Ayumi’s childish little flower. Rayen handed out the paper to him without care.

’Damn Plotter. Why include such a challenge?’

The team gazed at the drawing.

"I guess, it’s fine now. At least they get the gist of it," Adrian said half-heartedly, but there was clear mockery with it.

At the same time, the other team that had caught up to them cheered beside them. Rayen and the others glanced toward them and saw that Mr. Big News was holding a piece of paper and a pen. He was walking toward the flower pot, just about to submit their work.

’They’re done?’

Rayen peeked at the paper and saw that the drawing on it was better than theirs.

No... There shouldn’t even be a comparison. Mr. Big News’s drawing was entirely on a different realm from theirs.

Rayen snatched back the paper from Adrian, hiding the childish drawing from the curious eyes of the onlookers from the other team.

"Hurry, we should pass it," Rayen said, feigning a cough.

He didn’t wait for the others’ opinion before walking toward the pot and throwing it inside.

Phew.

The pot ate the two pieces of paper that Mr. Big News and Rayen simultaneously passed. Just then, a flash of light appeared at Rayen’s and the other’s left chest.

’I have a bad feeling about this...’

And just as he expected... The doodle of bouquet of flowers Rayen had just submitted appeared on their left chest, like a shameless insignia of their lack of talent in arts. At the same time, the logo on Mr. Big News’s left chest looked so professional, it seemed like a printed logo.

Rayen immediately covered his own logo on his chest and ran back to his teammates. Adrian chuckled wryly.

Well, they have no choice. At least it was accepted by the viewers. They could just hope the other team was just as hopeless as they were.

The two teams proceeded to the next pot, and at last, they could sigh in relief. In this kind of request, they could probably say they were quite confident with it.

[Create a highlight dance step for your song.]

The team looked at the two dancers of the team, Yeo Haru and Xu Jiji. However, recalling Yeo Haru’s outrageous acts earlier, most of them turned to Xu Jiji in the end.

"Me?" Xu Jiji pointed at himself.

"What about me?" Yeo Haru also asked. "I’m a dancer too!"

"Yeah, help Jiji out," Adrian replied.

Yeo Haru wanted to grit his teeth but restrained himself. Finally, Xu Jiji accepted the request. Rayen believed in him, but he also felt pity for Yeo Haru. In his experience, the petty dancer was also a good choreographer.

So, Rayen decided to help him out. "Why don’t you two come up with two different ideas? Then we’ll see."

Yeo Haru’s eyes lit up this time, accepting the conditions. He didn’t want to work with Xu Jiji after all.

Sigh.

Rayen and the others watched the two concentrate on coming up with something. Just then, his gaze lingered toward the other team who was also busy choreographing their own song, their team logo irritating his eyes despite its pleasant image.

He sat down on the floor to relax while waiting for the two. This floor didn’t seem like a race after all.

Granted, the last request was a bit hard...

Tsk.

Annoyed, Rayen wanted to brush off the logo on his chest. Finally, after sitting for about five minutes, the two had finally finished wrapping up their dance step.

Rayen stood up and dusted his behind before making way to the two dancers. But just then, the other team beside them had already finished everything.

"Team Grit, please proceed to the next pot point."

’What?’

Rayen and the others glanced at the other team, puzzled how they could finish the challenge so quickly. Now, they only have one request to finish.

And unfortunately, the last request was too easy.

[Create an ending pose for your song.]

It didn’t last for long when that team finished the request. They were the first ones to reach the practice room.
