Idol Revive: If I Don't Debut, I'll Disappear
Chapter 110: Can You Stomach It?

Chapter 110: Can You Stomach It?

Rayen’s eyes swam in the countless hurtful words that flooded his search results.

– Plastics should burn

– Flower Garden should kick out this trainee

– What did Haru do to you? (Spitting GIF)

– I was even a fan... but he turned out to be like this.

>> You call yourself a fan, but you’re believing fake shits like this?

>> Shut up. It was all laid out bare already. Stop your illusions and just accept your idol is a jerk.

>> Brainless people who can’t even think of the word "editing"

– These haters are full of Yeo Haru’s solo fans ahahaha so obvious.

Rayen didn’t want to read anymore. His chest hurt just seeing how much hateful comments he received. And reading it one by one?

No one could get used to this...

’My fans from Adrift must have really loved me back then. Or they just didn’t care.’

He had never received this much hurtful words; not even when he was at the peak of his career from his previous life.

But what even caused this much hate?

Rayen persevered on reading to understand the cause, but it was just too exhausting to read every hateful comments, so he decided to ask someone else for information instead.

Opening message interface in Idol:Revive, Rayen typed his question then sent it to Adrian, including some rants as well.

[Rayen: What the hell. I didn’t bully that guy! I even put up with his petty attitude! Why do they think I bullied him?]

Rayen immediately received Adrian’s response. It was only a single link without a single message. Knowing that guy, Adrian probably chose to stay silent to not rub salt in his wound in accident. That was a trait Rayen was grateful of him.

Tapping onto the link, Rayen found a UCube’s video uploaded last night, but already garnered over half a million views.

’That much? If that’s the case, I’ll probably get at least 5,000 life book points, then?’

Chuckling wryly from his twisted humor, Rayen played the video.

The sound was muffled. Rayen couldn’t even understand the first few words clearly, but when it came to Yeo Haru’s voice, he instantly recognized the scene.

’Isn’t this when Yeo Haru cried before the first round performance? But when did I bully him then?’

Rayen turned on the caption after seeing the comment suggesting it. Minho and the others also noticed that he was watching something, leanning in closer for a look.

As the captions played simultaneously with the audio, Rayen finally understood everything. Xu Jiji sneaked a glanced towards Rayen after reading the caption; as well as Minho, who knew everything.

"Did you really say that, brother?" Xu Jiji asked.

"I did... But not to Yeo Haru." Rayen sighed, exhausted. "It’s a bit complicated."

He didn’t want to badmouth Binh. The guy already apologized and the matter was already resolved by the involved parties. There was no need to bring this up again, but with this leaked sound recording, the matter was twisted to an unexpected direction.

’Isn’t this a deliberate attack to me? Who did this?’

Just then, the video suddenly stopped playing. The black screen from before was replaced by a message.

[The video has been deleted as it violated UCube’s guidelines.]

Rayen breathed a sigh of relief. The video had been posted for over 10 hours, but only now did it disappear.

Just how slow was Plotter and the crews on deleting this?

’Wait? Is this their doing?’

Rayen shook his head.

’No, I doubt that...’

He wanted to believe that Plotter wouldn’t mess with him like this. That person said he was Rayen’s fan, and he seemed genuine... sometimes.

Well, Plotter had even spent a Mirage grade book page just to fetch him (or his phone). That’s already a reason for Rayen to believe he was a genuine fan.

The only way to find out was to ask the person himself, but perhaps his AI version probably knew some information as well.

Thinking that way, Rayen stood up.

"I’m gonna head out for some air," he said. "Practice without me first."

With the atmosphere turning somber with gloom, everyone nodded before continuing on with their practice. Rayen walked back to his dorm room. It was the only place he knew where he wouldn’t be disturbed by anyone’s presence.

However, after riding the elevator and arriving at the highest floor, Rayen was greeted by a short figure standing in front of the door of their dorm room. Plotter’s androgynous face was unusually serious as he lifted his head and met Rayen’s gaze.

"You’re here," Plotter said.

"Saved me from wasting time on finding you," Rayen said, sighing. "What happened?"

"It’s our side’s negligence. Someone leaked the video without our knowledge."

Somehow, a heavy burden was lifted from Rayen’s mind.

"Is that so..."

’I thought, you’re screwing me over again.’

"Shall we talk inside your room?" Plotter asked.

Despite Rayen’s distrust with this bizarre person, he allowed him to enter. Plotter might have had a way to enter the room, but he didn’t do it and waited outside instead. That meant he probably still respected his idol’s personal space.

Facing Plotter, Rayen signaled for him to tell everything.

If it was a leak, they could have just fixed the problem on their own, but Plotter needed to find Rayen, so there must be something up.

"To solve this matter, I can only think of a way..."

"What is it?"

"That is to release the full footage of the scene," Plotter answered without his usual playful smile.

If there was an audio recording, there really was a camera in that backstage corner. Then... was it intentional that it didn’t make the previous broadcasts?

"Why not just release it?"

Rayen stopped talking, realizing the answer himself.

"Can you do it?" Plotter asked. "If we release it, it will save you, but the other participant... He’ll be the one in your place instead."

Rayen pursed his lips.

He recalled the hateful comments that seemed to pierce deeply in his chest. Even though Rayen knew it didn’t mean anything because all of it were false accusations, Rayen still couldn’t help but be hurt.

He thought he had experience in this industry, but turned out, he was a novice too.

What about Binh? That guy couldn’t even bear others seeing his own shameful dancing.

Seeing Rayen’s reluctance, Plotter repeated his question ever more clearly. "Can you stomach it?"
