Chapter 105: MV Filming

When the team reunited, it was in front of the broadcast studio at the fifth floor. There were also other teams that were waiting for their members to arrive, but no one was as conspicuous as Rayen’s team.

Almost all of the other teams stared their way, strangely drawn to every member — especially Rayen. Since they were huddling together, they shared the benefit of +100% on their charm because of Rayen’s Bonus Skill from his costume. They also got lucky with Minho’s Mirror. After waving back, Team Love Maker was finally called to enter the broadcasting studio. Rayen had already guessed the pattern for how their spatial magic worked. If the participants had to enter one by one, they would be sent to different rooms.

So now, Rayen knew they would be the only ones inside.

’How convenient. We can all film simultaneously.’

But still, why in the broadcast studio?

A waterfall also appeared out of nowhere, splashing cold water around its vicinity. Gradually, a flying island rose from the depths of the river fall. When the artificial sunlight hit the surface of the splashing droplets from above, it produced a colorful rainbow.

It was so beautiful and outworldly.

This was the true nature of this fifth floor room — the Scenario Studio. In this way, they need not edit the filmed scenes extensively since a CG wasn’t needed at all. Everything would look true and it would reduce the production time too.

The scenario book page that was used to change the scenery of the room was included in their Premium Filming Package. However, it didn’t have a skill effect, only focusing on creating a dimensional world. After the team had decided for their concept, they communicated it to the production team behind. Then, as per their request, the book page was created.

Still, they didn’t expect it would be like this.

The first scene they would shoot was their dance performance. After they heard this, their nervousness slightly calmed down. When it came to that part, they were quite confident.

As they ascended the flying island for their performance, they were met by various staff members busy wandering around the whole place. The island was filled with cameras and filming equipment.

The filming passed by without any problem.

It was the first time that Rayen had filmed for an MV himself, so it felt quite strange. Thankfully, Ms. Baek was always clear on her instructions. He easily finished his solo parts in his costume at ease.

Before he changed to another normal outfit that was also provided for them, he still had another scene left with Xu Jiji.

While the song they had recorded a day after the part assignment was being repeatedly played, Rayen watched from the side as the others filmed their own parts. Just then, a camera man and a familiar curly-haired staff member approached him.

"Hi," the staff member greeted.

"Hi..." Rayen greeted back.

The moment the staff member reached out for the air and pulled something, Rayen already felt a bad omen approaching.

"For the behind the scenes, we prepared a challenge for everyone," she said.

A stack of cards appeared in her hand, presenting it before him. Rayen held back his lips from twitching.

He was right. There really was something bad about to happen.

Back then, when this very same staff member presented him a similar stack of cards, Rayen was screwed to film a silly advertisement.

’What now, then?’

Reluctantly, Rayen reached out for one of the cards.

"Care to flip it?"

’Can I not?’

Still, he did it. When Rayen flipped the card, an interesting string of words was written on its surface.

"..." Rayen stared at it speechlessly. "What will happen if I don’t achieve this challenge?"

The staff member imitated Plotter’s smile. "You’ll find out once that happens."

Rayen shuddered. With that response, he didn’t want to even learn about it.

’I bet this is that damn Plotter’s scheme again.’

Pocketing the card, Rayen stood up from the rock he was sitting on. He scanned his surroundings to search for anyone to target. Since ony Xu Jiji was busy with filming his solo parts, the others were quite free on their own.

The first one Rayen targeted was the one he thought was the easiest target.

"Minho."

Minho immediately lifted his eyes away from his mirror and looked at the one who called for him. Seeing the gesture in Rayen’s hand, Minho blinked in puzzlement.

Rayen didn’t say anything.

Realizing that he need to return a heart back, Minho raised his hand to form a finger heart. Rayen nodded and walked away, followed by a camera man.

’What was that?’

Without receiving any explanation from Rayen, Minho followed him with his gaze. After that, Rayen glanced around again to target someone else.

His gaze landed at Nana, but he shook his head. Sometimes, Rayen felt like Nana would just gobble him up with her gaze. Maybe it’s better to put her last.

"Cut! You’re good," Ms. Baek’s voice echoed with the director’s microphone.

Xu Jiji’s solo part filming also came to an end. Rayen thought of a good idea and approached the little kid.

"Good job!" Rayen praised and flashed him a finger heart.

This was the only way he could think of without asking for a heart directly — take the initiative himself.

Xu Jiji stared at his hand strangely.

"Thank you?" Xu Jiji said, tilting his head.

Since Xu Jiji didn’t seem to understand it, Rayen formed another heart with his other hand and smiled forcefully.

Scratching his cheek, Xu Jiji finally raised his hand and gave him a finger heart.

"Thanks," Rayen said then ran off.

Xu Jiji met Minho’s also puzzled gaze.
