I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess
Chapter 249 - 249: Fell and Cracked?

Millis ran between the mountain and hills, chased by the flying wyvern and a human above her.

They had recovered from their stupor caused by Millis's sudden actions to escape.

Millis groaned, quickening her sprint as well as imbuing her legs with mana. Furthering the power behind her steps.

Every now and then, she would try to shoot them down from the sky, but ultimately, she paid attention to running.

Occasionally, she would switch tactics, using the sword as mobility to cross the rocky terrains and boost her forward.

But this did leave her with a few scrapes from her falls.

Eventually, in the upper corner of her eyes, she saw Gram's small, distant figure up on the cliff side.

And...

He had seen her as well.

The beastly man knelt on the cliff, looking over the edge as he watched as Millis was chased by a ferocious wyvern with eye-catching scales.

He licked his lips, scratching the side of his arms, which had grown even more furry than before, as though his transformation was still happening.

After the wyvern had reached a certain distance beneath the cliff, Gram leapt, aiming the tip of his bone-crafted greatsword down.

Historia, riding on the back of her wyvern, instantly noticed a falling shadow looming over her.

She raised her gaze as well and pulled her mount's eyes towards the sky, finding Gram falling towards them like a savage meteor.

His descent seemed to only increase as a translucent coating of wind wrapped around his body, pulling him down along with gravity even more.

Soon enough, before the human and wyvern could put up a suitable defence or preparation for dodging, Gram crashed into the back of the winged monster.

The wyvern's back curled up like a 'U' as it felt a cold, hard blade penetrate through its scales and tear through its muscles, digging into its spine, which was cleaved into two parts.

And then.

It fell out of the sky, falling down to the ground with a thunderous—

—THUD!

Reuben, startled by Gram's sudden sneak attack, was caught off guard as a shower of lava fell through the skies in the form of droplets—for it seemed that Lula had been with Gram since he leapt off the cliff.

Reuben tried to dodge but was unable to entirely dodge the rain droplets of molten stone. However, it became worse for him when the boots that had kept him afloat were deactivated.

He wriggled in the air before falling towards the ground and being—

PSHT!

"A-argh!"

—Impaled on Gram's greatsword.

The savage then used Reuben's body as a shield against the scorching rain, albeit unable to fully protect himself with it, as some of the droplets singed his shoulder.

After the rain had parted, he patted his shoulder down, keeping away the fire that had appeared before, slowly going out under his hand.

Once the fire went out, he stepped down from the wyvern, looking over it and checking out its sides. He had already killed the rider and the boot-wearing man.

There shouldn't be any more.

Millis, seeing this, sighed deeply, getting back her air as she had been running constantly.

"You guys were together the entire time?"

Gram raised an eyebrow at her, resting the tip of his blade against the ground and leaning against it.

"Hm? No. Me and woman found each other when out hunting. Only coincidence."

Millis, watching as he leaned against his sword, decided to do it as well.

But...

Gram's eyes followed as Millis was suddenly shot into the air, wriggling around before falling back down. Before she landed, all that he could hear from her mouth was:

"Ah shit."

Crack!

***

"KAHAHAHAHA!"

Lillian hid her face behind her hands as Gram's voice blasted out across the stadium as he pointed at Millis, who laid on the ground with her skull cracked open.

Lillian rubbed her face, muttering:

"You can't be serious..."

'Just when I thought Millis was acting really cool...'

She couldn't believe the Heroine could somehow kill herself in such a mundane and accidental manner, especially with how she had been utilising her sword the entire time.

Click.

Lillian's ears twitched as she heard the faint sound of a camera snapping. More specifically, one that came from a phone.

Lillian slowly lifted her face out of her hands and slowly drifted her gaze towards a certain Assassin.

Marionette, holding her phone in landscape, snagged a photo of Millis's pathetic death. Despite her face lacking emotion, Lillian could see a flicker of amusement and mischief in the woman's eyes.

She couldn't help but sigh and feel bad for the Heroine.

She then looked towards her mother, finding her extremely entertained by the way Millis had died.

Lillian couldn't help but think there was something slightly grim about being entertained by such a thing.

She then shrugged after a prolonged moment.

'Meh. It's funny.'

Soon, this part of the competition came to an end, announcing another win for Louis Mana Academy.

Currently, Lillian, her mother, Marionette, and Millis were at one of the local cafes inside the Bazaar district.

This was also where Marionette showed her the photo she snagged, causing Millis to lash out and wave her arms in the air.

"That dang sword! I can't believe it would do that to meh!" She growled in an exaggerated manner, causing Lillian's mother to laugh even louder.

Lillian couldn't help but smile at Millis's entertaining nature. But she also couldn't help but feel as though she was taking advantage of this meeting to rack up some more points for herself.

She rolled her eyes.

'Not like it's doing any harm.'

She wrapped her fingers around the handle of her coffee cup and raised it to her lips under the eyes of her mother, who stared at her curiously.

"You drink coffee now?"

Lillian stiffened, pulling the cup away from her mouth as she gulped down whatever she had drank.

"P-pardon?" She muttered.

"Don't get me wrong, my dear. It's just extremely rare to see you drinking coffee. Usually, you drink tea."

Veronica tilted her head, "May I ask what is with the sudden change?"
