I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess -
Chapter 243 - 243: Wait a Bit?
Lillian smiled wryly, watching as the television replayed her moments inside the competition.
Why did she look so... bloodthirsty? Would that be the right word?
Both she and her mother let out an unconscious gasp as they watched Lillian's foot dig into the crotch of a certain annoying blood mage.
Was there a need for her to do that? Surely, she could've dispatched him a lot less... mercilessly.
Soon enough, Marionette returned from the bathroom and sat beside her, just in time for her fight with Lincoln and Paul.
While watching the fight, she couldn't help but wonder as she caught a glimpse of the rope of her necklace.
She glanced down at her own, gazing at it before bringing her attention back to the screen. Could it be that she was more brutal due to the number of people watching her fight?
'It must be it...'
After a bit, they got to the part where Marionette began to quietly berate her.
"You could've easily beat him there."
"Well, yeah. But, my sword won't let me cut him."
Marionette blinked at the girl's response. Then, she said:
"So that's why you only did thrusts. Still, you could've won against Alibin much faster there." Marionette pointed before pausing. She then added, "Good use of the drawback, by the way."
The scene of her repelling herself into the air was displayed.
"How'd you know it was a drawback?"
"... It'd make sense for it to be a drawback." She then shrugged, "Or a restriction. Is your sword the same as the gun you gifted me in a way?"
"Well, yea—"
"Then, I'm correct."
Lillian pouted at being interrupted. She then went on to threaten the Assassin:
"I'll bite you."
Marionette stared at her, then widened her eyes—a mischievous glint flashing through her eyes.
"Marking me here now, are you? How bold of you to declare such a thing with your mother right beside you."
Lillian stiffened, her expression freezing as she felt a gaze on her from the other side. She slowly turned towards her mother, finding her watching them with an amused expression.
She waved at them, gesturing for them to continue.
"Oh, don't mind me, dear. Do go ahead. I won't intervene in young love."
The bottom of Lillian's right eye twitched, the corner of her lips twitching as well. Then, she felt a finger slip under her chin, subtly caressing it before hooking and turning it.
Her face was turned back towards the Assassin, finding her to be the owner of the finger.
She watched as the Assassin blinked playfully at her.
"Seems like we have consent. You can go along with your threat, Lillian..." She tilted her head, revealing a large portion of her neck, "Or could it be..."
She gave a dramatic pause.
"You were bluffing?"
Lillian grumbled, glancing rapidly between the two.
She then yelled at both of them:
"Boundaries, you two!"
***
Veronica let out a yawn, watching as the replay turned off and the announcer finished his talk about tomorrow's match.
She turned towards the two beside her, "I'll be going now." She said, getting up.
Lillian nodded, getting up as well.
"Let me show you the way, Mom."
In response to her kind gesture, Veronica waved her hand dismissively, "Don't worry~... I can figure my way around. There aren't too many rooms after all."
Lillian smiled, sitting back down.
"Alright, then. Good night!"
Marionette then bid her goodnight, as well.
"Good night, Miss Veronica."
Lillian's mother smiled at them warmly, walking around the corner.
A split second later, she popped her head around the corner and said:
"Don't worry about me listening. I have headphones that can block out the nois—"
"Please go to bed, Mom!"
Lillian watched as her mother ran off, grumbling while covering her face from embarrassment.
Because of this, she didn't realise that the light had already gone out by the time she lifted her head up. Then, she felt something pull her down onto the couch.
Marionette, throwing the blanket over them, wrapped her arms around the white-haired girl from behind.
Lillian rolled her eyes, smiling. She scooted a little bit back, making it so there was less of a gap between them.
The Assassin rested her chin on the girl's shoulder, snuggling up to her before whispering:
"About... marriage..."
Lillian stiffened, feeling Marionette's chest press up against her even further, her arms tightening even more.
Was she seducing her or something?!
"Y-yeah...? What about it?"
"..."
Marionette went silent.
This left Lillian slightly anxious as she waited for the Assassin to carry on.
But.
She never did.
Instead, the Assassin just buried her face into the back of her neck and kept quiet, causing Lillian to pout.
Lillian then sighed.
She thought about it. The thought of marriage. But not for long. There wasn't really a need to think that long about it, after all. She liked Marionette.
That was absolute.
She liked the thing that they had going on. It was new and exciting for someone like her... And...
"If it's you... Then, of course I would..."
And... She would like to keep it going as long as possible.
Lillian pinched a lock of her white hair, twirling it with puckered lips and a shy expression.
"Just... wait a bit. We have just started dating. Let's not... rush." She said quietly, then waited for a response from the Assassin.
But.
All she got was a tightening of the woman's arms that had slipped down to her waist.
And then...
Sniff. Sniff.
Lillian gave a wry smile as she felt the Assassin begin to sniff her. This seems like a regular occurrence in their day-to-day life now. It was times like these that she wondered how good she smelled.
Nonetheless, as usual, she left her to it with a relieved smile.
It doesn't seem that Marionette was as upset about this arrangement, unlike when she delayed solidifying their relationship. Now that she thought about it, was she even upset to begin with?
As she was thinking this, she shivered as she felt the woman brush her lips against her ear—her expression freezing at what she heard next.
"Then... How about doing it? When are we...? Or must I need to wait a long time for it as wel—?"
Lillian quickly interrupted her, her voice flustered.
"Now that's a whole different matter! And you know it!"
