There were four of us, but we only had 150,000 won. I'd thought that would be enough for tickets and food. Maybe I should've brought more.

Even though I earned decent money now, carrying over 100,000 won still felt scary, which led to this mistake.

'Should I go home and get more money?'

We discovered this thanks to Levinas's straightforward personality. I would've just gone home without ever finding out.

We ran non-stop into the amusement park. Though it was an indoor dome-style park, the building was quite large.

Entering the park, we stopped in our tracks. The children's eyes sparkled at the fairytale-like scene before us. Even Saebyeok showed interest, wagging her tail.

"This is...! This is a dream country for children...!"

"Dream?"

Gaeul made sleeping motions. Saebyeok stopped her as she tried to lie down.

"It means it's as fantastic as a dream!"

As Gaeul's ears perked up, a roller coaster whooshed past beside her. The rumbling sound made her ears and tail stand even higher.

"Heok!"

Levinas chased after the roller coaster. Gaeul followed behind her.

But they couldn't catch up to the accelerating roller coaster.

"The train's as fast as King...!"

"Fast...!"

Was just watching the roller coaster that fun? Levinas jumped up and down.

Beside the excited Levinas, Gaeul stared blankly at one ride.

'That's...'

A merry-go-round. The most basic amusement park ride.

Watching the spinning merry-go-round, Gaeul started spinning in place.

"Gaeul, want to ride the horses?"

"Gaeul?"

"Yeah. You can ride the horses."

"Really...?!"

Had she not realized she could actually ride the attractions? Gaeul's eyes began sparkling.

I took Gaeul and the others to line up for the merry-go-round. Being a weekday, there weren't many people.

Thanks to that, we didn't have to wait long to ride.

"King, since you're a king, ride in this carriage!"

"Right!"

"Huh?"

When I got in the carriage, the children climbed onto the horses. From my position, Saebyeok was in front, Levinas behind, and Gaeul beside me.

"Knights, protect the king!"

As Levinas shouted this, the merry-go-round began to turn. From the carriage, I could see all the children around me.

Saebyeok seemed to be enjoying it, gently wagging her tail.

"Giddy up!"

Gaeul rocked back and forth on her horse, while Levinas maintained an extremely dignified expression. She really looked like a knight.

Coming to the amusement park was definitely the right choice. As I watched the children from the carriage, I heard camera sounds from outside.

Must be their first time seeing beast-kin. I was used to it by now, so I decided not to pay attention.

We all enjoyed the merry-go-round together. The ride time was shorter than I expected.

Gaeul rocked back and forth on the stopped horse. When it wouldn't move anymore, she made her signature confused expression.

Did she want to ride more? I got out of the carriage and approached her.

"Gaeul, we need to get off now."

"Why?!"

"Well, there are lots of other fun things to ride. Want to try those?"

Gaeul smiled brightly and climbed down from the merry-go-round. Since she was crawling down, I held her waist to help.

Just as we were wondering what to ride next after finishing one attraction, a roller coaster whooshed past behind us.

"King! Have you ridden that?!"

"That? Won't it be scary?"

"Yeah...! It's scary but Levinas wants to try...!"

Maybe the rides sparked some desire to challenge herself. We decided to respect Levinas's wishes.

"Then let's go line up."

"Yeah...!"

We lined up for the roller coaster together. Since we had to form a single line, we put our hands on each other's shoulders.

At the front of the line, with no one's shoulders to hold onto, Levinas just grabbed the waist of the man in front of her.

"Huh?"

He turned around surprised, but seeing us, he smiled. It seemed like silent permission to hold on.

As we were chatting and giggling in line, a female park employee ran over to us.

"Children, could we measure your height?"

"Height...?"

"Yes. This ride has a height requirement - you need to be taller than this red line."

The red line on the panel the employee brought was at 140cm.

Did this mean we couldn't ride? As we stared blankly at the red line, Levinas confidently stepped up to the panel.

"Levinas is taller than this!"

Levinas stood confidently in front of the panel. Though her head was well below the red line, for some reason she puffed out her chest proudly.

"Horned rabbit ears are long! Many horned rabbits are tall!"

So she was counting her ears too. I patted the confident Levinas's shoulder.

"Levinas, they say ears don't count for height."

"What?!"

Levinas's ears drooped in shock. Even including her ears, she didn't reach 140cm.

"Levinas, there are lots of other fun things - should we ride something else?"

"...Okay!"

"Alright!"

Though we couldn't ride the roller coaster, Levinas didn't get discouraged. She just giggled and wondered what to ride next.

Maybe because it was a weekday? We got to ride quite a few attractions.

We rode bumper cars and the monorail. Then we tried something called a flume ride where you go down in water.

They took photos during the fast descent - Levinas spent 10,000 won to buy the picture.

"Hehe, look at this photo."

Looking at the photo, I could almost hear the children's voices. Saebyeok's sparkling eyes, Gaeul screaming "Shwik!", Levinas hugging me tightly from behind, and me crying "Nyaa!"

Honestly, since I could run faster than the flume ride, it wasn't particularly scary. I just naturally cried out "Nyaa!" because it was so fun.

"Let's treasure this photo."

"Yeah!"

After putting the photo in our bag, we wondered what to ride next. That's when we spotted the spinning teacups.

It was a ride where turning the disc in the middle made the cups spin. The faster you turned the disc, the faster the cup spun.

"Should we ride those cups?"

"Yeah!"

We quickly ran and climbed into a cup. Thanks to the small crowd, we could get on without waiting.

"When you turn this, the cup spins around."

"Like this?!"

When Levinas turned the disc, the cup started spinning slowly. But being weak, she couldn't make it spin very fast.

"This is hard!"

"Hmm... should Saebyeok try? You're strong, Saebyeok."

I looked at Saebyeok sitting across from me. Without hesitation, she put her hands on the disc.

When Saebyeok applied force, the cup started spinning faster. Finding the spinning cup fun, Gaeul giggled.

"Spinny spin."

Gaeul joined Saebyeok in turning the disc. Levinas helped too, and not wanting to just sit there, I joined in.

We all turned the disc together in rhythm. Maybe because of Saebyeok's incredible strength combined with everyone else's?

The cup started spinning at an unimaginable speed.

"Nyaaaa!"

"Woahhh!"

The spinning was so fast it felt like we might fly off.
