I Was a Loner, but My Class Got Summoned to Another World…
Chapter 373 - 373: Solarflare Aurolious Phoenix

"We need to explore our surrounding first, make it slowly to the middle which is in the highest part of the island, there was a stairway that led towards it, but I doubt most of it remains." Earl Rosengard began to explain.

"We can't fly, the air is too thick and none of your darkness creatures can fly except for your bat and Serana, but they will quickly be overrun if there are flying creatures, we need to be careful, there are many who can be dangerous, keep ourselves as a group, the darkness element here is rampant causing some creatures to go wild. ON the bright side, you will be able to get the best darkness elemental creatures here, it will come with risks though." The earl continued.

The first group would be Scorch, naturally, Logan, Rubina, Earl Rosengard, and Serana and her minions. Logan wanted to rotate his strongest creatures while checking how far they could go each time they would head out.

Earl Rosengard had to take Elarion, his unicorn needed to light the way, as for Rubina she rode on Uriel, in low altitude, just around Scorches field of vision, the creature had reached level 80 and now a true phoenix, its wings burned endlessly, only Rubina who was firebless was able to handle being able to ride in such conditions.

Logan on the otherhand had to resort to creating fire shields to protect him from the flames, waiting a very miniscule portion of his mana to maintain it.

They had only just started having left the camp area half an hour ago, today they would not focus on going deep but more so to check at least a kilometer in and three kilometers around.

The terrain was indeed difficult, Logan at times to use lightbased moves to show the way every few minutes, Elarion focused on the nearby area while Logan on the furthest parts.

They had yet to find any powerful creatures, most of what they did find quickly ran away by the sight of the light.

Logan could have sworn he saw what looked like jackles, some monkeys that looked like baboons and even a few dinosaurs that reminded him of those that had a long sail on its back.

Nothing too interesting, the creatures were either to slow or to small to be useful.

"We are just beginning, don't get confident and be weary of the earth… there is great danger from below," Rosengard recalled a particular creature that was a mix of both dark and earth elemental.

Logan could not imagen what it would be but decided not to worry about it for now, Scorch would be able to handle anything with ease, he did not fear the unknown of this place.

"Nothing so far, let's continue on," Logan reassured the others.

The team was halfway through checking the area when a large figure lunged at them from above.

It wanted to take down the flaming phoenix as if it was disturbing its sleep.

Logan did not move though, the Uriel worked with Rubina, the two sent out flaming steams towards the creature who swooped down, its wings created a strong wind that the flames were repelled slightly.

Uriel did not take this kindly, her master was everything for him, he began flying up, its wings spreading a radiant white fire that let Logan see the creature who was attacking them, it seemed like a large moth, almost the size of Wyver, its struggled a little as if blinded by all the light, its did not even attempt to get away which was its mistake.

The phoenix and Rubina reached the moth and began to burn it starting from its wings, the large creature let out a shrill that could be heard a kilometer away, its wings which were quickly being eaten by the flames caused it to no longer be able to fly.

Uriel did not end things there, many of its feathers began to shoot out like arrows, it did not stop tossing them until the large beast stopped moving.

[What do you think Scorch, can you beast Uriel in fire skills?] Logan patted his large tyrannosaurus rex who shook his head as if he was scuffing.

[I am better, I will show you.] Scorch let out a snort before walking forward as if wanting to find the next creature they would need to fight.

"Relax we will get better prey soon, first things first we need to keep the others safe." Logan reminded Scorch, the large dinosaur looked back and saw it was getting to far ahead.

Logan who had calmed down his mount looked back and saw how Uriel finished feasting on what it could from the large moth, the problem with fire creatures was always that they would eat through calories like a fuel to a rocket.

It only took the parts that it found worth eating, the fleshiest of parts before moving on.

Rubina on the other hand used her wings to fly towards Logan.

"I guess it was to gruesome for you to look at." Logan laughed feeling Rubina wrap her hands behind him.

"Way to bloody, but it will be done soon, so let me stay here until then." Rubina said while placing her head on his back.

"You know I hate your armor during these moments…" Rubina knocked on his armor before sighing.

"Sorry about that but I will be needed it for this trip… Ruben said it will grow with me… I need to keep it on for it to do its magic. But, I do know how you feel… come how about you ride here."

Logan used the wind to slowly help him place her before him.

"See its not that bad." Logan did not dare do more then that, but let her enjoy the moment.

He looked back to see the phoenix which was done eating his meal.
