I Was a Loner, but My Class Got Summoned to Another World… -
Chapter 372 - 372: Titanborn Verdant Colossus
And finally, the sixth creature emerged.
Logan hadn't seen this creature before, though he'd heard how Serana had recently obtain it. At first glance, he thought it was a dragon—its face certainly resembled one—but as more of the body slipped through the portal, it became clear it was more serpentine. Its elongated form twisted like a wyrm, with two stubby, clawed arms reminiscent of a T-Rex and a pair of large, leathery wings stretched along its back.
"So… what is this one?" Logan asked, eyeing the deep crimson creature. Two long fangs jutted from its maw like spears.
"That is my latest minion. A wyrm," Serana said, casually petting the beast, which leaned affectionately into her touch. "It used to be a powerful snake that mutated near the volcano. When I found it, I saw potential. With your blood blessing, it grew into this."
"So it's a vampire variant?" Logan asked, stepping closer—only to freeze when it hissed at him.
Serana tapped its snout lightly and motioned for Logan to try again. "Sorry. It's shy. It doesn't know you're the one providing its blood. That's why it's wary of you."
"It's fine… no worries." Logan sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. It always puzzled him why his blood seemed to behave differently with Serana's minions. Maybe because she was his tamed, any bond formed through her didn't register the same way.
He gave the creature a full once-over. About twelve meters long, two meters wide at the thickest point, and a wingspan of sixteen meters. Its scales were like hardened blood crystals shining a deep crimson color.
"Level 38… So you got it recently? Why not just raise it to 40?" Logan asked, curious.
"I did find it the day I returned. Actually, it was Iris—my wight—who dragged the beast to my room. Almost like she knew I needed a sub-dragon species." Serana's eyes gleamed with pride.
"A vampire dragon… Guess we're slowly collecting every elemental dragon type," Logan chuckled, half-serious as he pondered its future evolution.
"I believe so," Serana nodded. "The only issue is blood crystals. I don't have many left, so I want to see if it can grow naturally with experience—especially near the Temple of Darkness."
Logan looked at the wyrm again, noting how it coiled around Serana's feet like a loyal hound. Its presence didn't feel immature—it felt contained, restrained… but only just.
"Guess the others will be power-leveling their new sibling soon," he muttered.
Serana's eyes flashed. "Of course. They'll make her strong. She's one of us now."
Seeing that all the creatures were ready, Logan and Silvia took those that could fly and everyone that could fit aboard the ship. After that, they both warped back for the larger ones. The vessel was already docked near the island, and Silvia had set up a stable portal in a secure area just off the beach.
Logan quickly returned for Scorch, who immediately lowered his massive head and rested it against Logan's shoulder.
"Sorry, bud. It's really been a while since we bonded," Logan said, gently petting him. "How about letting me ride on your back again—just like old times? As soon as this quest is over, we're going back to training. No rest until you're level 120. That labyrinth will know our might as we tear through it before the war."
[Will be first to get stronger, first one again, we will defeat demons together, they will fear us this time.] Scorch roared; Logan felt the joy of his creature, one that grew so fast in such a short amount of time.
After a few more seconds of bonding, Logan teleported back to the island.
There, he spotted Gaia—now the tallest of all his creatures. The ent had grown to over ten meters, and each step it took made the ground tremble with a booming echo.
Silvia, standing nearby, was visibly out of breath. Teleporting such a colossal being had drained her mana, leaving her with barely a fifth remaining.
"Sorry, Silvia. I didn't know Gaia had grown this much..." Logan said, stepping closer. He cast a mana regeneration skill drawn from his jeweled turtle, Septa. It wouldn't fully restore her, but it would at least stabilize her stamina and allow her to keep going.
"It's fine," she replied, catching her breath. "Let's just continue. I'll need one of your creatures to help me move faster though."
"Fine. Take Elarion. I already told Scorch he's carrying me," Logan responded, helping her mount the radiant unicorn.
"I've already scouted this side of the island with Chloe," Kai interjected, approaching the group. "We didn't find anything dangerous. But we started building a fort. I think we should stay behind with Gaia and keep reinforcing this position. That oversized tree is going to attract attention with its new size."
Logan gave his evolved ent's stats a quick glance to see if he would need to use one of them when fighting now.

There were quite a few improvements in Gaia's overall skillset—some of which Logan was already itching to try out. He gave a firm nod after finishing his review of the newly updated status page, then dismissed the interface with a flick of his thought. His gaze shifted back to Kai, who stood nearby, patiently waiting for orders.
Logan glanced at the nearby structure—a modest encampment complete with a tower tall enough to watch over the nearby jungle.
"Sure. There's only a few of us who can see clearly in this darkness anyway," Logan said. "If we move with too many people, we'll just slow each other down."
He looked around.
The black fog was thick—choking and dark. The beach was clear enough, but just a few yards inland the air became heavy, like walking into a wall of smoke and ash. A dense smog lingered over the terrain, obscuring everything.
Lisa tensed beside him, clearly unnerved by the sensation. Others, too, reacted with unease.
But Logan… felt something else, It didn't frighten him like the rest.
If anything, it felt oddly familiar, almost like home.
He frowned. The Temple of Light hadn't felt like this—hadn't stirred anything in him the way this place did. There was something here, something calling to him.
He didn't know what it meant, but he intended to find out. The wind spirit had rushed to get him out of its temple, it did provide information but not enough. Maybe the darkness spirit would be more cooperative.
