Ivy mildly flinched every once in a while as Tiger’s hardness poked her flower. Whether or not she wanted to, her core heated up as a reaction. She gulped, gazing down at him. His heated breaths kissed her skin, and somehow, the peaceful sight of him helped her tense body relax.

’What happened last night...’she bit her bottom lip as she drew a deep breath. ’We really did it... not just once or twice.’

If she remembered correctly, they did it three consecutive times. Tiger was akin to a beast in the bed, barely giving her a break before delving deep within her. Each round lasted for quite some time, which explained her aching canal.

’I can’t believe it,’ she thought and sighed, staring at him quietly. The corner of her mouth slowly curled up as her eyes sharpened. ’I never thought we’d ever have such a thing.’

Ivy and Tiger met even before that parking lot incident. However, their previous encounters weren’t anything noteworthy. They didn’t even exchange any words during all that time. But now, here they were, lying on the same bed, underneath the blanket with their naked bodies exposed.

’Even when sleeping, he looked impatient.’She commented inwardly while she played with his hair with her fingertips. ’I want to stay with him for the rest of the day.’

Ivy bit her lip out of habit, smiling bitterly. Just now, she felt a little clingy when she was the one who said last night wasn’t the start of anything. Moreover, there was no way Tiger would stay for the day. What happened last night was a first for her, but not for him.

He had experience, and he was not ashamed of his promiscuous life. He talked about that so casually. Therefore, Ivy understood that last night might not be special for him. It was just one of those nights for him. She shouldn’t get ahead of herself.

’Also, I don’t want a simple — an awesome sex to divert me from my current goal,’ was what she told herself, nodding in conviction. ’It’s just sex. Nothing more, nothing less.’

When Ivy reopened her eyes, convinced of how to act once Tiger woke up, he was already awake. His eyes were partially opened, staring at her quietly.

"Oh." Her lips quivered as she cleared her throat not to stutter. "Good morning."

"Good morning." Tiger drew a deep breath and pulled her closer. "Still hurts?"

"Huh?"

He tilted his head down a little to clarify what he was referring to.

"Ah..." Ivy nodded in understanding and forced a smile. "A little. But I think it’s fine."

To divert her attention from their position, she glanced back at the bedside table. It was still early, six-thirty in the morning, to be exact.

"I should get up," she said as she looked back at him. "I have a meeting in one and a half hours."

"No. You don’t." Deep lines appeared between her brows as he moved closer this time. "I emailed your assistant last night and said you’re sick."

"What?"

"Sleep some more."

"Tiger, wait." Ivy pressed her fist on his shoulder, pushing him away slightly. "What did you say? You... did what?"

Tiger blinked lazily as he dawdled. "I said I emailed your assistant last night and told her you can’t go to the office because you’re sick. Don’t worry. I wrote it from your perspective, so she wouldn’t find out you’re staying in with a man."

"Tiger!" Ivy gasped. "You can’t just do that! Goodness! I’m not sick, and I have an important meeting today. I’m not staying here with you."

She clicked her tongue in irritation, clasping the blanket over her chest as she sat up. As soon as she did, her body swayed, and she almost lost her balance. When she tried to move her legs out of the bed, she realized just how much her body suffered last night.

"See?" Tiger propped his knuckles against his temple, smirking teasingly. "It’s better if you cancel your appointments today or get odd looks for the way you walk. You’re welcome."

Ivy glared daggers at him, and then her eyes fell on his exposed chest. Her brows creased together, realizing Tiger had this huge tattoo that covered both his chest, stretching to his biceps. She didn’t notice it last night because the room was dimly lit.

"Don’t do that again." She cleared her throat, diverting her attention from his huge tattoo. She massaged her nape, and her arms still ached.

"You were running a fever last night, so I thought it’s best if you rest for the day. Also, according to the article I read, it’s highly possible a woman can have a fever after her first intercourse," he explained, watching her already pinkish cheek turn red. "So, rest for today. I’ll grab your food in a bit."

"It’s okay," she said timidly. "Don’t worry about me. I’ll be fine on my own. You should go. I know Dominic is an early bird, and you don’t want him scolding you for being late."

"I was suspended."

"Suspended? What? Why? What did you do this time?"

"Trust me. It’s not my fault this time, but on a good note, I don’t need to go to work today." He blinked. "And even if I do, I already planned on staying with you. You’re still too tight for me, so we need to work on that."

"Tiger!" Her breath hitched as her entire face turned beet red. Meanwhile, he shamelessly laughed out loud. "Stop teasing me!"

"Fine, fine." Tiger pushed himself to sit up, making her lean back in case she had to run. "Though, I’m serious. We did it three times. I don’t see the reason why we can’t have sex a couple more times."

"You!"

"Haha. Fine, fine. I will not say it!" He threw his hands in surrender, grinning from ear to ear. "Go back to bed. I won’t touch you for now."

For now? What did he mean by that? Because he would eventually touch her later? Ivy looked at him in dismay, covering her chest protectively.

"My body can’t take another beating anymore," she grumbled, making him laugh out loud.

He grinned as his laughter subsided. "Trust me, Ivy Wei. You can and you will. Willingly and happily."
