Chapter 1023: Are they in a relationship?
"What the hell, man?!" Primo spread his arm in disbelief, watching Tiger approach his direction. "What are you doing here?"
"Move away," Tiger grumbled, heading straight to the front door without showing any sign to stop.
Primo followed.
"Don’t shove me away! What are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be with Dominic?!" Primo berated him on the way, walking beside Tiger. "Did you hear what happened to Dominic?"
This time, Tiger stopped and faced him squarely.
"Yeah," Primo breathed out in disbelief. "He was attacked during the inauguration and now he’s treading between life and death. What about Heaven? Weren’t you supposed to stay beside her?"
"Did she hear that news?"
"Huh?"
"Hera." Tiger’s eyes lit up as he spoke through his gritted teeth. "Did she hear that news about Dominic?"
Deep lines appeared between Primo’s brows, studying the look on Tiger. This was strange, he thought. Why was this so important? Of course, Dominic’s situation was supposed to be important. However, Primo didn’t know its importance to Hera.
Deborah mentioned it before; why would Hera care about Dominic? They weren’t supposed to know each other.
After a few seconds of silence, Tiger clicked his tongue.
"Never mind," he said. "I’m going to talk to her."
With that being said, Tiger resumed in his tracks.
"Hey!" Primo yelled, picking up his pace to follow Tiger. "Answer me first! Who the hell did you leave behind to watch over Heaven, huh?! Why did you even leave her in the first place?! Are you guys out of your minds?!"

A few minutes ago...
"Protecting her doesn’t mean I have to stay on her side. I’ll stay at a distance."
After Primo spewed everything he wanted to say, he walked out on them to do something else. Deborah and Hunter stared at the shut door with grim expressions. They had nothing to hold Primo in this place. Primo had no reason to stay because he only came in here because of Heaven. Now that he knew Hera, the person Heaven risked her life trying to save, was fine. He had no more reason to stay.
"Should I follow him?" Deborah wondered after a moment, eyes still on the door. "He helped us in this mission and even though it failed miserably, it wasn’t a total loss."
"Do what you want." Hunter nodded in understanding. "I don’t think Hera has any reason to keep us here. Am I correct, Wolf?"
Wolf was still staring at the second floor, and it took him a few seconds to look away from it. He set his eyes on Hunter and Deborah, sighing.
"If you want to come with him, go," said Wolf. "Hera never keeps people around. She doesn’t force anyone to stay."
"Well, she kills them if they don’t," Deborah replied sarcastically. "I’m not saying she will kill us too, but she scares me more than Dragon terrifies me. Do you know she told everyone that they could leave any moment, only to order those who stayed to kill those who didn’t want to follow her command?"
Wolf sighed for the umpteenth time. "It’s my first time hearing it, but I can imagine." He slowly marched to the chair, sitting on the armrest. "I’m not surprised if she did, though."
"It’s not like I truly believed she would do that to us because I sort of understand her reason behind it," Deborah breathed out sharply. "I’m just worried about what going on in her mind right now."
"Wolf, you might not answer my question, but I’ll ask anyway." Hunter cleared his throat. "Does Hera know Dominic Zhu? How?"
Deborah perked up, intrigued. She was also curious. How did Hera know Dominic?
Wolf darted his eyes between them. How would he answer that?
"In a way." Wolf shrugged. "They knew each other."
He slowly gazed up at the second floor once more. "And somehow, I wished they didn’t."
"Why would you say that?"
’Because if they didn’t, this situation wouldn’t be as complicated as it was,’ was what he wanted to tell them, but alas, he couldn’t.
At this point, Wolf didn’t know how to explain the situation without looking like a delusional old man. Not that he cared if others thought he had gone senile. But who would believe it? Even Wolf didn’t believe it as soon as Hera revealed the truth. He had doubts. Moreover, they couldn’t afford to waste a second trying to convince these people that Heaven and Hera swapped bodies and had miraculously gone back to their original bodies.
Just as silence reigned in the hall, the door suddenly flew open. Deborah, Hunter, and Wolf instinctively turned their heads to the entrance.
"Hey, man!" Primo’s yell was the first thing they heard. "Where are you going?!"
Tiger ignored Primo, glaring at the people he caught idling inside. His eyes lingered on Wolf, asking, "Where’s she?"
"Tiger, it’s not a good time —"
"Sulking in her room, huh?" Tiger hissed, guessing where Hera could be hiding right now. Without wasting a breath, he marched toward the stairs.
"Huh??" Primo scrunched up his nose, following Tiger, hoping he would get some answers from him.
"Tiger!" Wolf called, pushing himself away from the chair to follow him to the second floor. "Don’t go to her. She’s not in the mood."
"And I’m also not in the mood," Tiger remarked solemnly without stopping in his tracks. "I have to see her."
Now, not only Primo was following him but also Wolf. Deborah and Hunter, on the other hand, looked at each other before they followed suit. From what they knew, Hera wasn’t in the mood. And by the looks of it, Tiger seemed like he would kill her for some unknown reason. Thus, in case they try to kill each other, they followed.
When they reached a certain room at the end of the second floor, Primo picked up his pace.
"Hey, man! Don’t go —"
"Hera!" Tiger kicked the door open, stepped into a wide room, and looked around.
Primo looked around as well, but there was no sign of Hera. "Where the hell is she?"
Tiger arched a brow before his eyes landed on the door inside the room. "The bathroom," he muttered, approaching the bathroom without a second hesitation.
"Oy!" Primo gasped. "If she’s showering, why don’t you wait here?"
"Fuck off."
Primo skidded as Tiger pushed the door open, turning around when he caught Hera’s back while she was dipped in the bathtub. His breath hitched as Tiger slammed the door in his face, scrunching up his nose in dismay.
"The hell?" he gasped. "Are they in a relationship?"
