Chapter 53 - 53: Boom! II

Boom!

The energy burst outward, forcefully driving everything in its path against the walls.

The individuals were slammed hard, blood seeping from their mouths as they collided with the unforgiving surface.

Ha Joon landed with a thud, legs spread apart, arms at his sides, and his head lowered, eyes locked on the threats before him. Blood still smeared his face, a stark reminder of the injuries that had already healed.

"Hey there, to what to I owe the honor." he voiced out, a grin on his face.

He watched as the three individuals stood up from the ground.

The girl's head was grotesquely twisted to the side, while the two men beside her had broken necks, legs, and arms.

Yet, they stood as if unbothered by their injuries.

"Ah, you're a strange one," the man with the snake tattoo remarked, his bones audibly snapping back into place as his body healed itself.

The girl followed, her head rotating back to its normal position, just as the man with the X tattoo realigned his body, fully restored.

"Hmmm… you are indeed a weird one." repeated the snake tattooed man, "Mother never mentioned this, it's starting to make more sense why she wanted you".

"Yeah… sorry, I'm not interested in single mothers." Ha Joon replied.

"Hmm… you're a wired one…you're a weird one." The snake tattooed man spoke again, massaging his arms.

'If I'm being real, I expected something like this to happen eventually. Not everyone is excited about the new Prime minister, didn't expect it to be this soon. Just right when I was about to have my fun… I'm so going to kill these guys'.

"Say, are you willing to just cooperate and come with us? I would rather avoid any means of combat if possible."

"Yeah sure, maybe later we can sit down and have tea like good old friends." Ha Joon stared at the man with a disgusted expression.

"Sigh! I did not sign up for this. The name is Scorpion, beside me are my budies Zex and Sinex." the snake tattooed man introduced.

"What the hell are you doing, telling our identity to the enemy?!" Zex, the other male yelled in confusion.

"Relax." Scorpion stretched his hand in front of Zex to stop him from talking, "So, what is your name?" He looked back at Ha Joon.

Sinex and Zex 's eyes widened a bit the moment they caught on.

All three of them looked at Ha Joon, waiting for him to speak.

'What do they think I am? 5?! They obviously want me to say my name for some reason? Is there someone watching?'

Ha Joon stylishly looked around the place, but he couldn't sense anyone else but the three individuals in front of him.

"Aight, I've had enough of your games… this is how it's going to be. For interupting my moment, I'm killing two of you, as for the girl, you're coming back with me to the capital."

Ha Joon rolled his fist as he walked towards them.

"If you have any last words, I suggest you throw them in the bin".

The three individuals stayed quiet, watching as Ha Joon approached them.

Without saying a word, all three of them charged towards Ha Joon.

Grin-!

Ha Joon boosted forward, grabbing Zex Leg and flinging him against the wall.

Almost immediately, Sinex showed up behind Ha Joon, her hand taking the form of a burning blade.

Ha Joon looked over his shoulder with a grin, clenching his fist.

Sinex stabbed him, but her blade could barely get past the first layer of the shield coated around his body.

Turning around with a kick, Ha Joon aimed for the head of the girl, but she was able to dodge by reducing her size to a smaller one.

While he was still in mid air, Scorpion showed up, his hand covered his in purple energy as he punched Ha Joon.

But once again, the shield around Ha Joon was almost impenetrable.

Ha Joon grabbed his hand and pulled him close. Opening his mouth, he screamed. Releasing a loud echo directly at Scorpion.

Scorpion felt his skin peel from his face, his bones were vibrating at the same frequency as Ha Joon's scream, causing them to shatter gradually.

Lucky for him, Zex came up with another attack, using his hammer shaped hand to slam Ha Joon to the ground.

Scorpion fell to the ground, his injuries immediately healing. He raised his head and noticed Ha joon was suddenly in the air.

"Watch out!" He screamed.

Ha Joon, with his arms stretched apart, sent a rain of fire down on all of them.

Sinex was able to protect them all, turning her whole body into a hard surface that covered their position.

"Shit! What's this guy's deal? How is he this strong?!" Zex yelled, the fear in his voice taking over.

But as soon as he spoke, Ha Joon slid in from the side, his grin expressing just how easy and existing the fight was for him.

Zex's eyes widened in fear, there was nothing he could do, Ha Joon was already way too close for him to react.

Chuck -!

Ha Joon's fist went through his heart as his body slammed to the ground. And then-

Boom!

It exploded in flames, his body part scattering around the pit.

"That's one." Ha Joon counted.

"Damn it you bastard!!!" Sinex yelled, her form turning back to normal.

She hardened her skin, sending a punch to Ha Joon's face.

Scorpion saw this as an opportunity, Ha Joon was distracted.

He pulled out his dagger and speed towards Ha Joon, his aim locked in.

In a flash, Ha Joon switched his attention towards Scorpion, leaping onto him with his legs wrapped around Scorpion's waist.

"Boom."

Ha Joon said with yet a grin before sending another black energy at him with his finger aimed at Scorpion's chest.

The black energy blasted the upper part of Scorpion's body the moment it connected. Leaving the lower half of his body standing as blood sprayed like sprinklers.

And almost instantly, Ha Joon grabbed the neck of the girl and pinned her to the wall, while locking her there with the walls cuffing her legs and arms.

The girl panted heavily, fear hitched on her face. In just a matter of minutes, she had watched her friends get murdered.

"Hey there beautiful, be a good girl and I won't send you to the gods, okay? Good, now, let's have a chat about assassination, shall we?" Ha Joon said, his face only mere inches away from Sinex's terrified face.
