Chapter 595: 595 Fairy Tail: Heaven’s Wheel Armor, The Strength of Titania, The Power of a Monster, Mutual Respect and Lucy Defending her Territory from Powerful Enemies.

The weather was clear with the sun high in the sky. There was no wind, nor were any animals heard nearby.

Before Lucy’s eyes, Erza was the first to attack, planting her foot firmly on the ground, breaking it just with her initial impulse. The scarlet-haired girl didn’t hesitate to strike; she summoned a sword. It was a fast attack due to her monstrous reflexes, abnormal speed, and swordsmanship refined to mastery.

She attacked with force from the start, her instinct whispering to do so, and wrapped in a strange, inexplicable emotion, Erza charged at Allen... but something was off.

"What?!"

Just before the cold, sharp blade reached Allen, Erza sensed something wrong — Allen hadn’t used any magical power!

*Auge*

Allen didn’t hesitate; he stepped forward, stamping the ground and causing cracks to spread in every direction. "One-Man Army... x10 Mass... x10 Strength... x10 Acceleration..."

Erza opened her eyes, and bit down hard knowing she had made a mistake. Allen was using magic but she was unable to perceive it. In front of her, the "ordinary person" aura vanished without a trace, leaving only the pressure of an absurdly dangerous opponent. She had made a grave mistake and was paying the price.

Allen’s fist smashed into Erza’s silver armor base, also called "Heart Kreuz Armor," a classic set featuring a metal breastplate, a high armored collar, and plate pauldrons. On the left side of the breastplate was a cross symbol with the edge pointed down, shaped like a heart. The armor was shattered by Allen’s impact. Erza spat saliva, letting out a painful groan before flying backward. She traveled down a long street until she crashed into a building. Obviously, it was empty; Allen had made sure of that before striking Erza.

"Auris Arcanum" luckily could replace his other detection abilities. This was important because, unlike in the world of Harry Potter, here everyone has magic, even if latent.

"No way..." Lucy, with messy hair from the earlier shockwave, sat down on the ground for the third time today. From Lucy’s perspective, Erza flew away in the blink of an eye. Was this the end? Allen had just defeated Titania in a single move.

"No," Allen answered Lucy’s unspoken doubt. This fight wasn’t over — Allen knew this because his attack had mostly been stopped by the armor.

"Requip: The Knight..." In the distance, inside the building, a dazzling glow surrounded Erza. "Heaven’s Wheel Armor!"

The building was destroyed and Erza disappeared in Lucy’s eyes.

Allen squinted his eyes and tilted his head to the left; an instant later, a flash of silver flashed past where his head had once been crashing onto the street and creating a crater. Lucy was startled and, looking at the crater, saw a sword stuck in the ground.

"When did that happen?!" Lucy exclaimed, knowing that if she were the one Erza attacked, she would already be dead.

"..." Allen looked up at the sky and couldn’t help but be amazed. There was Erza, but she looked different. Both her armor and hairstyle had changed.

This new armor had an angelic aura, its silver color reflecting the sun. The upper part consisted only of a small, revealing breastplate that extended down to her hips, made of metal plates shaped like feathers. This left the upper part of her chest and her abdomen exposed. Her biceps were covered by metal straps, and her huge gauntlets had feather-like edges.

Her waist was surrounded by large decorated plates that resembled feathers, resting over a long skirt. She wore a pair of silver boots, partially hidden under the skirt, each adorned with metallic wing-shaped decorations. As a final touch, the armor also featured two pairs of large metal wings decorating Erza’s back, made of elongated metal feathers at the edges.

"She’s beautiful..." Allen murmured.

"..." Erza frowned. When people saw this armor they knew her true power was coming and, far from seeing it as something beautiful, they feared it... so it was the first time someone complimented her like that, let alone say something like she’s beautiful. However, Erza didn’t let her guard down; the pain in her stomach was a reminder of how dangerous her opponent was.

Erza gritted her teeth and many swords appeared around her, forming a circle.

"Heaven’s Wheel: Circle Sword."

The circle of swords spun faster like a saw before expanding toward Allen.

"One-Man Army... x15 Defense."

Allen raised his arms and took the attack, which should have been able to decapitate a colossal monster or sever his arm. Lucy screamed in fear but was left stunned, as was Erza herself, seeing the swords shatter. Of course, a x15 increase might not seem like much, but we mustn’t forget that Allen wasn’t multiplying the power of a normal human — it was his own, which, despite not having an indestructible body, was hardened through dozens of battles against walking apocalypses.

"Impossible, with his bare hands?!"

"Don’t get distracted... x20 Speed."

In an instant, Allen appeared in front of Erza — it was only thanks to his immense reflexes, extreme skill, and natural genius-level instinct that Erza could block his punch aimed at her now-unprotected stomach with two swords.

"Kuh!" Erza growled, increasing her strength and creating distance between them.

"..." Allen muttered something and stepped on the air — though it wasn’t flying, it was enough to fight in the air. Seeing the fight would be aerial, Erza sharpened her gaze, took off, and the exchange of high-speed blows began.

"Ah, this is absurd! Are these really wizards fighting?!" Lucy was unable to follow the fight.

The sky was filled with flashes of lightning that clashed creating chiapas and rumbles.

...

Gwen — This was unexpected. I thought after such a... meaningful encounter they wouldn’t fight anymore.

Kara — I don’t get it...

Unohana — Ara Ara, this is an important part of courtship, isn’t it, Shishi-chan (Leon)?

Artoria — Um... a woman like Erza tends to see everyone weaker than her as someone to protect, like younger siblings. So if Allen wanted to earn her respect, he had to prove he wasn’t someone who needed protection...

Kurumi — Kuhihi, you say that from experience, Onne-san?~

MJ — I just realized your spirits will be spending more time here since not even Allen could summon you all at once without draining his magic.

Rebecca — Well, it’s inevitable — the price of defeat... Honestly, I don’t even know how we survived. If losing a little time with Allen is the cost, it’s way too cheap...

Harley — Don’t make that face, Becca, especially not when Allen visited you last night~

Rebecca — That and this are two different things!

Kate — I didn’t need to know that...

Anissa — Same here...

...

Erza interrupted the exchange by crossing her two swords. "Trinity Sword!"

Erza separated her swords, creating a magic projection in the shape of a cross aimed directly at Allen. He wondered why she called it Trinity if she only used two swords, but he didn’t hesitate and created a shield to protect himself.

Erza’s attack was stopped, but she appeared beside Allen. Their eyes met before Allen’s sword and fist collided in mid-air, creating another shockwave.

Allen frowned. He was certainly stronger, but his magic wasn’t unlimited, and One-Man Army consumed a lot of magic.

With that in mind, Allen decided to end the fight quickly. "One-Man Army... x30 Strength."

Allen stepped on the sky taking instantaneous momentum. Erza used her swords to block the imminent attack. But Allen wouldn’t hold back. His fist shattered Erza’s magic-imbued metal. She opened her eyes wide — she didn’t have time to change armor. But she didn’t give up. Surpassing the speed she had with Requip, she changed armor.

"Adamantine Armor!"

The new armor was sturdy and featured two huge shields on both arms. Erza covered herself by bringing her arms together, creating a massive shield — this was her armor with the highest defense. Allen struck the shield, creating a thunderous noise that shook all of Onibas Town. However, he didn’t manage to destroy the armor, only damage it.

Allen stopped his attack and stepped back. Erza opened her eyes and looked at Allen confused. She was about to change armor again but noticed something about Allen — he no longer had the fighting spirit.

Allen shook his head before shrugging. "I quit..."

"Huh?!" Erza looked at Allen with surprise and disbelief. "What do you mean by that?"

"That exactly — your magic isn’t your armor. It’s the ability to switch between them instantly. So you can fight switching armors as much as you want. I don’t want to fight against a hundred armors or however many you have stored... so I quit."

"I won’t accept that!" Erza charged, and her armor turned into black armor with a dark aura. She summoned a sword and attacked, but before she could reach Allen, she stopped — Allen hadn’t defended himself.

"As expected from someone like you, you wouldn’t attack me if I didn’t defend myself," Allen said with a calm smile.

"Fool!" Erza vanished her sword and grabbed Allen by the collar, bringing her stern face close. "You’re a fool. You didn’t know that if I had not stopped. You would have lost your life for no reason!"

"I know someone similar to you, and I trusted that inside you was someone I could respect." Allen grabbed Erza’s hand with a serious look. "Also, don’t worry, you can’t kill me, not even if I let you attack."

Erza’s eyes opened wide in surprise but soon turned into a smile with a hint of amusement and mockery. "Oh, really? I’m glad you hold me in such high esteem, for that alone I will forgive you~"

Allen smiled slightly. "Miss Erza, I remind you I’m an honorable man. Such blatant flirting is too much for my heart."

Erza released Allen and stepped back before coughing, feeling a little embarrassed. If the guild members had seen this, they would have fallen out of their seats.

"What is this situation?" Lucy said, puffing her cheek.

...

(Moments earlier)

The battle had moved into the sky. People from Onibas Town looked up from all around what was happening.

Lucy felt bad because she wanted to be there—even if she didn’t have the strength to intervene, she still wished to be there. Timcampy sensed that desire, flapped his wings, and landed in front of Lucy before growing to the size of a horse.

Lucy was incredulous but quickly understood that Timcampy wanted to help her. So she climbed on top, and both flew to where Allen was.

The girl was worried, but when she arrived, all that worry turned into anger because she saw Allen and Erza with their faces almost touching as if they were going to kiss. Moreover, they had gone from wanting to kill each other to flirting.

...

"Allen!" Lucy shouted, catching Allen’s attention, who was surprised to see her up there.

Allen exchanged a glance with Erza. The girl didn’t want to end this fight like this, but she decided to give in, so she descended while Allen let himself fall, and Timcampy came down, too. Once on the ground, Erza changed out of her armor into her original clothes, but instead of armor, she wore a white blouse.

"I feel uncomfortable without my armor, but it doesn’t matter," Erza smiled at Allen. "You’re very strong."

"You too..." Allen also smiled. He hadn’t expected her to block his last attack, but she did, which left him speechless. The red-haired girl had gotten stronger in their fight.

They both fell silent, looking at each other, but this time Lucy intervened, grabbing Allen’s arm.

"If this was over... we should leave and not bother Erza-san, Allen~"

Allen smiled, knowing what Lucy was thinking. "That’s true..."

Erza, for her part, opened her eyes and crossed her arms. "Don’t worry, you’re not bothering me..."

One of Lucy’s eyebrows twitched. "But still, you must be very busy being an S-class mage. We should leave..."

Erza blinked, confused. "Don’t worry, I’ve already finished my work."

’What?! What’s with that innocent expression? Is it genuine, or is that redhead just pretending to be innocent?!’

Lucy felt a dangerous vibe from Erza, and it had nothing to do with her power. Lucy clung tightly to Allen’s arm.

"I understand Erza-san has time, but we need to return to complete our mission. After all, we’re a team..." Lucy smiled victoriously. In the end, Erza would have to walk back on foot since her monster horn couldn’t be transported on a horse cart. Really, there wasn’t much difference, and Onibas Town wasn’t that far from Magnolia.

"Ah..." Erza thought for a moment and realized Lucy was right. She smiled at Allen with a hint of pity. "I guess we’ll see each other again. I would have liked to know more about you... and maybe continue our fight..."

"..." Allen felt that last part almost sounded like flirting, but being Erza, who are we kidding? That’s unlikely, right?

"What?" Lucy blushed, not expecting Erza to be so direct.

Allen, unlike Lucy, had more experience and could tell Erza wasn’t faking it. But far from romantic interest in him, she had a genuine desire to get to know him better. In fact, if Allen had to guess, Erza seemed very clumsy in emotional relationships.

He wasn’t wrong. Erza tends to get flustered whenever she finds something stimulating—like a couple kissing. Her awkward reaction gave her a cute touch, despite being terrifying when she put her mind to it.

"See you, but no thanks, fighting you is exhausting..." Allen said, refusing.

"Huh?" Erza felt offended and grabbed Allen by the collar, bringing her face so close they almost kissed. "What did you say?"

Allen knew this stubborn woman probably wouldn’t leave him alone if he answered poorly, so he gave in. "I said fighting you was one of the best experiences in this world."

"Honesty is best~" Ezra smiled, satisfied, and released Allen before nodding, crossing her arms to emphasize her chest, which was even a bit bigger than Lucy’s, though it hadn’t shown before because of the armor.

Suddenly, Lucy felt offended too and crossed her arms, lifting her breasts, which bounced more. Proving that although she lost in size, she gained in elasticity.

Allen had a very strange look. What kind of competition started out of nowhere? Erza, for her part, seemed to enjoy any competition, so even in something like this, she showed no intention of losing.

"Let’s go, Lucy..." Allen took Lucy’s hand while saying goodbye to Erza with a glance.

Erza nodded, but when she saw them walk away, her smile faded and she remained silent. "Maybe I should sell the horn..."

Originally, she wanted it as material for some blacksmith to make weapons or armor, but at this moment, she considered it just a burden.

Erza shook her head and smiled in a very good mood. "It doesn’t matter... I’ll have time to find out where this guy came from."

...

Allen returned to Magnolia with Lucy, who had improved her mood by 300% after successfully getting rid of Erza.

"Hey, can we stop by that café? I heard they have delicious desserts!"

"No problem, but it’ll have to be later—we still have to get back and finish the mission."

"Tsk... oh, well~"

Allen and Lucy arrived at the guild...

As they walked through the door, all eyes immediately fixed on Lucy, who was still holding Allen’s arm. This embarrassed her, and she quickly let go.

"Ara, welcome~," Mira said as she carried a tray of beers.

"Thanks, and good morning, Mira-san," Lucy smiled but immediately felt that Mirajane’s smile was subtly cold.

Allen, on the other hand, didn’t seem affected. "We’re back, Mira."

"..." Mirajane silently looked at Allen. Far from feeling guilty, he subtly smiled, making it clear that if Mirajane wanted any claim over him, she’d have to win him over first.

"I hope you haven’t forgotten our promise, Allen..."

"I’m looking forward to that day, Mira."

This sparked a playful, teasing smile from Allen and a cold, "Just you wait" smile from Mirajane.

Lucy watched this strange interaction, stunned. Suddenly, Allen seemed closer to Mirajane—or was it just her imagination?

’That’s impossible! I only left him alone for a couple of hours. How could that happen so fast?!’

Lucy shook off the uncomfortable thoughts. She reached out to grab Allen’s hand, she wanted to make it clear to Mirajane—as she had with Erza—that this hero already had his princess. But Lucy couldn’t bring herself to do it in the middle of the guild; she was too embarrassed.

"Pfff," Levy, who had been watching, laughed mockingly. This quickly redirected Lucy’s anger towards her.

Lucy’s attack was swift and precise. She crossed her arms, accentuating her chest. With Titania or Mirajane, this would have been a fight—but against modest Levy, it was a crushing blow. Levy froze, then exploded in anger.

"Blonde bitch, come here!" Levy’s teammates, Jet and Droy, held her back to keep her from lunging at Lucy, who just mocked them.

Allen shook his head as if exhausted by the whole scene—which, in fact, he was. He hadn’t felt very energetic lately. So, he stopped bothering Mirajane and asked Laki for a drink. Mirajane, behind him, got annoyed because she could have gotten it for him.

[Host, watch out or there might be a war starting between the women of Fairy Tail...]

Allen thought for a moment and felt drained. He’d only flirted a little and ended up causing trouble. Maybe he should’ve controlled himself more, but now it was too late.

"Hahahaha, trouble, popular guy?!"

Cana, whose full name is Cana Alberona, sat at the bar (literally) next to Allen, drinking from a large barrel.

"Hi, Cana" Allen felt he had become entangled with another troubled girl.
