Chapter 30: The Twins

"Damn it! Why don’t you just stay there and die."

Younger Brad shouted in anger, and he took out one of the syringes that was hanging on his armor.

He plunged the syringe into his neck and injected the red liquid that was in the syringe into his body.

Younger Brad’s body then twitched uncontrollably.

Lukas knew something was going on and he tried to lunge at Younger Brad.

However, Elder Brad stepped into his path and kicked at him.

Thud.

The kick landed with a loud thud, making Lukas fly back and tumble along the ground.

Elder Brad wanted to lunge at Lukas, but he couldn’t as he felt his ankle ache from the kick.

Somehow, it was as if he had kicked steel instead of Lukas.

A shadow darted out from behind Elder Brad, and it shot at Lukas.

Lukas was on the ground, and he saw the shadow coming at him from the air.

It was Younger Brad, and he looked different now.

The thing opened its huge mouth with its sharp fangs and took a bite at Elder Brad.

Elder Brad tried to stop himself, but his momentum was too fast, and he slid towards Shiba.

Younger Brad quickly whipped his tentacles and wrapped them around his brother’s waist and pulled.

It was, however, not enough as Elder Brad still slid towards Shiba’s open mouth.

Shiba took a chunk out of Elder Brad’s shoulder and blood splattered onto the ground.

After it spat out the chunk of flesh in its mouth, Shiba then opened its mouth and bit at Elder Brad again.

Younger Brad quickly yanked hard with his tentacles and Elder Brad flew towards Younger Brad.

Elder Brad smacked into Younger Brad, and they tumbled onto the ground.

Thud.

Lukas lunged at them and when his fist hit Elder Brad’s head, the impact was so powerful that it made Elder Brad’s head slam into the ground.

Elder Brad stopped moving as he lost consciousness.

Whip.

Younger Brad tried to stop Lukas by whipping his tentacles at Lukas.

He stopped as he saw Shiba came from the side and snapped at his head.

Splash.

Younger Brad’s skin spurted out the wet slimy liquid at Shiba.

The slimy liquid landed on Shiba’s scaly skin and gave out white smoke when it tried to burn through Shiba’s scaly skin.

To Younger Brad’s surprise, it couldn’t do any damage to Shiba, and the white smoke dissipated quickly.

Shiba took a huge bite at Younger Brad’s neck and succeeded.

Younger Brad gargled as he gasped for air, and he used his tentacles to wrap around Shiba’s body.

Smoke rose from the tentacles as they tried to burn through Shiba’s body.

However, Shiba was immune to it.

Younger Brad’s eyes opened wide when he saw Shiba’s huge mouth coming closer and closer.

Then all he saw was darkness.

Shiba had bitten Younger Brad’s head off his body.

"No! What did you do to my brother!" Elder Brad cried out in tears as he slowly regained consciousness.

Lukas, who was pulling back his fist, punched down immediately at Elder Brad.

Elder Brad took out one of the syringes he had, and he stabbed it at Lukas’s arm.

Not knowing what the contents of the syringe would do to him, Lukas quickly pulled back his arm.

Whoosh.

The syringe missed by an inch.

Elder Brad quickly took out a few syringes and plunged them into his neck.

Lukas knew he had to stop him, so he stomped on Elder Brad’s hand holding the syringes.

Crack.

His stomp fractured Elder Brad’s arm, and the syringes dropped to the ground.

He pulled back his fist and punched at Elder Brad’s head.

Loud thuds echoed in the woods as Lukas punched Elder Brad’s head repeatedly.

Elder Brad’s head then started to be deformed and soon it was beaten into a pulp.

Blood and white matter from Elder Brad’s head splattered all over.

Pretending that he had heard nothing, Lukas rummaged with one hand and reached into his Darkmatter Vault Armor with the other.

He held onto a smoke grenade and waited for the right moment.

"Die!" Rock’s voice boomed and he lunged at Lukas from the air.
