Within a second the spell Nero unintentionally put on Apollo was removed.

"It seems you recovered fast"

"What?" For a moment, Apollo took time to process what he just heard; though he wanted to understand what she meant, his attention immediately shifted toward the main event. The ground turns into ice, and all of a sudden, shards of ice turn into spikes that pin the tentacles on the ground. With the enemy's main weapon immobilized, Harald took his chance to smash his axe right at Nero's neck, but just a few inches away, a magic circle suddenly emerged and blasted him out into the air. With his failure to land a hit, Abraham took his shot, targetting Nero's blind spot. His arrow was released; it was silent, it was cold, and pierced through the air, gliding past to any defenses put up by Nero. Unfortunat,ely as the ice froze everyth,ing three silhouettes dash forward and block the arrow to its supposed target. Nero had a look of surprise since he never anticipated an attack with his attention still on Harald.

"Ah... seriously, you two miss these three" he just said pulling his bowstring again to shoot.

"So,rry Abraham Gil was suddenly teleported a,way I o got distrac.teOutout of nowh,ere Helios arrived holding the sacred st,aff whiwas ch said to be ownerless for a few years now.

"So he can used in the same way Nero did, he can simply used it because his a Lionheart but cant unleashed its true power for he is not its recognize master" Apollo thinks so, scanning the legendary staff he barely see in the past.

"Gil got teleported away?" Harald said as soon as he landed back from being blasted away.

"Dont worry he won't die from something like that" Helios half heartedly said as if worrying wasn't needed.

"Focus our little fox is about to attack" Abraham reminded, seeing thousands of black tentacles were flying at them in high speed. Helios made his move first using the staff like a sword he gather enough mana and ki inside and used it to create an energy beam that took a shape of sword.

"What the hell old man you weren't supposed to used it in that way" Apollo felt frustrated the weapon all mages wanted to use was being used recklessly by a sword master

"Seriously I thought he could use magic swordsmanship" Apollo stresses out even more when his father swung the staff to slice hundreds of attacking tentacles. The more projectiles arrives the faster Helios destroys them. While he tank ethe barrage of attacks the two remaining dukes at his back already disappear.

"This is really troublesome" Nero couldn't help but say knowing his power is slowing down due to Abraham's ice., what even more concerning for him is that his weapon cant be track normally. The power of shealth from the bow's ability makes into impossible to trace Abraham what's worse is that he could extend that power to his companions. The power of the bow makes its attacks untraceable at the same its ice attributes frozes any defense. He tried casting another spell to halt his enemy's advance but to his surprised the sacred staff was blocking his spell. Calmly he regulated his breathing recasted another spell but only to get cancelled again. Nero knew that the staff had activated its ability called domination, this ability cancels other spells that is lower than its caliber. The only way for Nero to fully cast a spell is to surpass the spell level capacity of the staff, something he had no knowledge off. With no other options he had no choice but to switch from magic to swordsmanship. A sword emerge from the ground, its hilt was made in wood and on its guard was a gem that resembles something that made Apollo felt familiar with.

"That gem"

"Yeah it feels really familiar, like..."

"Like the word tree" Apollo continue her words and now he might have an idea why the emperor purposely let him and go and deliberately push him into a corner.

Helios took the blunt of the attacks from the tentacles and the three remaining servants of Nero while the four took turns into attacking in shealth. The onslaught continue on the forezen battlefield and each newly generated tentacles were destroy right upon contact with Helios with now hope of recovering it again.

"Who would have thought that sacred weapons can even influence an energy that was harvested from the outside" he added. Though he a wasn't really panicking, not yet since he still has a few cards to play. The sword held on his hand swung forward and a pure energy knocked everything out. This include th sneaky dukes who were aiming to snipe Nero's neck.

"You guys are hopeless" Helios said as he use his staff to teleport his friends right beside him.

"You guys gonna get serious you know or you will be send off like me" a voice said, suddenly a spear landed in front and with it Gilgamesh arrives.

"Took you long enough to get here" a playful remark came from Harald as he fix his axe that got stained with dark energy.

"Your one to talk when you got blasted away as well" Gil tried to argue but then a cluster of attack from the three servants interrupted thier talk.

"Harald" Abraham called before releasing three arrows that froze the incoming attack.

"On it" he replied then a loud banging sound can be heard after as if something big hit the floor. Three bodies fell lifeless on the cold and icy floor. Nero didn't look offended by the death of his subordinates and instead focus on gathering power in his weapon.

Abraham and Helios tried to interfere this but then a blood revolting stench came from his back and covered his body like an armor.

"That's Nirvana's flesh!" Apollo almost screamed as he realized this.

"Just how much remaining flesh does this guy have" he added exasperated at the fact that up to this point Nirvana's shadow was still chasing after them. The dark bloody flesh covered Nero's body serving as protection against the interfering attacks of Helios and Abraham. With the flesh assistance Nero was given a window of an opportunity to released the power gathered at his sword.

It was Gilgamesh who intercepted it, with one clean swift of his spear he neutralize the attack which even Nero did not expect. The southern duke spun his weapon and with another swing the he was destroyed the incoming tentacles that Helios wasn't able to destroy. With the battlefield suddenly becoming clear the northern duke shot three of his arrows and froze the surrounding mana.

"His trying to stop whatever Nero was doing to gather power from the surrounding" Apollo analyze, but even witht the frozen arrows, it wasn't able to stop Nero from filling his sword with power.

"So the fragment from the world tree that gathers energy from the word was turn into a gem, and now he is using it to have a endless amount of power to attack"

Apollo felt that he could end the fight from were he was standing but before he could even act a power suddenly took him and Nero off guard.

It was Helios, the staff in his were glowing indicating he just casted a spell, a very powerful one that made even his son dumbfounded. A storm of thunder bolts rush from the ground and rise towards Nero who is stuck on the ground due to Abraham's arrow.

"When did he draw his bow?" He was confused but immediately summon the tentacles to defend against the lightning spell but then Gilgamesh swung his spear spear again and destroy the tentacles from moving. Then from the left, Harald came like a meteor, slamming his weapon right at Nero's neck.

"He got hit!" Apollo exclaimed feeling excited at their next move.

The blade of the weapon hit something like a shield that protect Nero from getting his neck chopped off. Harald wasn't surprised instead he increase his power. The sacred Axe began glowing deep red. And with a roar, he took a step back before slamming his axe down with crushing force. Nero reacted using the power from the sword he released himself from the influence of he arrows, but with Abraham shooting another one his body halted midway with only his arms movable. He form his guard and created a layer of power to further his body. The moment the axe touched Nero's defense, gravity imploded, pinning Nero to the ground. Receiving such strike made his own footing wavered. Then the next thing he saw are multiple streaks of light that blasted him away.
