Chapter 41: Chapter 41 Tang Ye Arrives _1

"You want food, right? It’s there. I’ll take you to it. Just let me go," she bargained.

"Quit talking and move!" Guo Fan snarled coldly, looking at Ning Yu’er’s slim waist with eyes full of lust.

"Let’s go, let’s go, I’ll take you there!" she stammered, fixated on the weapons in their hands.

"Move!" Chu Yupeng bellowed.

Ning Yu’er trembled, but she had no choice but to guide them to the food. After all, Tang Ye was bringing more food. She didn’t care about the half still bag they were about to consume. As long as they left her alone, she didn’t think they would harm her.

She led them to the dormitory where they stored the food. The sight of something to eat made the followers cheerful. Some even discarded the makeshift weapons made from chair legs.

"Some of you, close the door!" Chu Yupeng ordered the ones in the back of the group to close the door behind them while he followed Ning Yu’er.

The bespectacled teenager looked around vigilantly as if searching for something. The more he looked, the more uneasy he became.

Huang Yidan and Chu Yupeng didn’t notice anything amiss. For example, where was the guy they saw yesterday? But so what if he was here? They had the numbers. What was there to be scared of?

Ning Yu’er led Chu Yupeng and some others into the dormitory she shared with Tang Ye. Many looked at her departing figure with a mix of outrage and lust. The men lusted after her while the women were furious. Huang Yidan looked at her with a combination of anger and jealousy. They were foes even before the Apocalypse.

Now, Ning Yu’er’s life hadn’t changed a bit. Her food, necessities, clothing, etc. remained constant. And herself? After each meal, she starved till the next and those were meager.!

"Here it is. All the food is here. You’ll let me go now, right?"

Ning Yu’er handed the half bag of food to Chu Yupeng who grabbed it from her as if he was a wolf snatching a baby. His eyes glowed green, and he held the loot close.

"Is that all? This it?"

"Ah? Only this. No more, really, no more!" she retreated, catching a glimpse of the lewd spark in Chu Yupeng’s eyes.

Smack!

"Are you lying? You and your boyfriend were enjoying quite a feast yesterday and you tell me this is all you’ve got? Are you trying to fob us off like beggars?"

Chu Yupeng slapped her, his eyes burning with lust as he growled at her.

"There’s no more, honestly no more! If you don’t believe me, just search. All the food is here, I didn’t lie to you!" Ning Yu’er said pleadingly, ignoring the sting on her face.

"Heh, this little amount isn’t enough for your release!" Chu Yupeng’s eyes were brimming with perversion, salivating at the sight of her chest.

I’m done for, she thought. She knew she couldn’t escape today. She glanced towards the dormitory door and made a run for it. She’d rather be devoured by zombies than be Chu Yupeng’s plaything. At least there were good zombies like Tang Ye among them.

"Little Mister, I’m sorry..." A tear trickled down her cheek as she lamented internally.

But before she could get to the door, Huang Yidan blocked her. The sight of Ning Yu’er’s clean clothes ignited her anger and jealousy. The unfairness of their situation shattered her balance.

Why is it so unfair? We’re both women. Why is she privileged?

Her resentment reached its peak. She grabbed Ning Yu’er by her collar and flung her aside. Ning Yu’er lost her balance and fell flat.

Ning Yu’er groaned, her bottom aching from the fall.

"Why are you doing this? I didn’t provoke you, why are you hitting me?" Ning Yu’er whimpered at Huang Yidan. She didn’t seem to recall any past grievances with her.

"Ha, Ning Yu’er, finally your day has come. Living in luxury, are you? Look at what we’re reduced to while you enjoy your feast, clad comfortably, sleeping soundly. I couldn’t recognize you in the library yesterday but now I see your true colors! Where’s your man? Call him out. Is he scared? The one who dined with you yesterday! Now he doesn’t dare to show up? See, the kind of pathetic man you’re with. Haha, go to hell!"

Huang Yidan grew more irate. In a fit of rage, she tore the white jacket Ning Yu’er was wearing, revealing her delicate, fair shoulders.

"Huang Yidan! You’re going too far! She’s already given us the food, why are you still treating her like this!" The bespectacled boy couldn’t bear to watch anymore and protested.

Smack!

Huang Yidan rose and delivered a hard slap to his face.

"Chen Chaoyang, who do you think you are? You’re nothing but Brother Peng’s dog! Who are you to talk to me like this? I’ll do as I please!"

On hearing this, Chen Chaoyang instinctively looked at Chu Yupeng who was clearly displeased and decided to remain silent.

"I’m sorry..." Chen Chaoyang sighed, looking at the helpless Ning Yu’er, his heart aching.

He moved aside, watching as Huang Yidan continued to tear at Ning Yu’er’s clothes. He glanced at the crowd who watched with indifference, some even thrilled by the spectacle. A sense of revulsion flashed in his eyes, his unease growing stronger. Chen Chaoyang felt suffocated, as if the dorm was shrouded in a deathly aura.

"No! I have to get out of this place!" he muttered to himself.

This was his first time in a girl’s dormitory. It looked similar to the boys’ dorm. He reassured himself. There were burglar proof bars on the windows on the first and second floor. Jumping from the third floor would result in disability if not death. The toilet on the first floor, however, seemed to be without burglar proof bars, just like the boys’ dormitory, that’s where he would escape from.

Chen Chaoyang took one last glance at Ning Yu’er before stealthily slipping away to the toilet as the others were distracted.

Tang Ye, carrying two large bags of food, was running towards the dormitory. His anxiety heightened and he increased his pace. Just now, he ate the "jelly" from the brain of a power-type zombie he killed previously, but he didn’t lose consciousness.

"You silly girl, did you go out again?"

Tang Ye was increasingly agitated. His face looked horrifying, monstrous. As he arrived at the front gate of Honglin High School, he connected with more than fifty zombies through a psychic thread and led them to the female dormitory.

Before he reached the entrance to the female dormitory, he saw a bunch of discarded chair legs.

"Someone got in!" Tang Ye was furious.

A furious roar bellowed from him, a chilling, lingering scream echoed, enough to send shivers down a person’s spine.

"Step aside, I’ll handle it," Chu Yupeng laughed sinisterly, shoving Huang Yidan aside.

At this point, Ning Yu’er was left only with pieces of her torn clothes and a pink camisole.

Chu Yupeng crouched down, lewdly about to pull off her jeans.

"No, no, stop! Please, let me go! I’ve given you everything. What more do you want?" she sobbed.

Her cries only aroused Chu Yupeng, his smile broadening. He wasn’t in a hurry even as she clung onto her trousers for dear life. They had all the time in the world!
