Chapter 367: Chapter 364 Don’t Kill It, It’s Useful _1
With a gigantic bite, Ah Fu ripped away one-fifth of the flesh and blood on Pseudo-dragon’s tail, revealing the clear muscle tissues below. Shortly after, strands of muscle fiber oozed drops of blood, which gradually increased.
Soon, Ah Fu bit down again, taking with him some of the fresh blood that had splattered airborne. By the third bite, his initial spot was too deep to bite again so Ah Fu shifted to another position, chewing furiously. The Pseudo-dragon cried out in agony.
Of the three zombies on the Pseudo-dragon’s body, who was the most reserved? It was Xu Haishui, no doubt. Watching Ah Fu and Tang Ye enjoying their feast, Xu Haishui licked his lips, saliva threatening to dribble down. Multiple times, he wanted to join them but managed to restrain himself.
Zombies possess an irresistible desire for flesh and blood, let alone now? The sight of delicious fresh meat drove Xu Haishui almost mad.
But he knew that there were more important things to do. He could only watch as the Pseudo-dragon was tormented by Tang Ye and Ah Fu, a heartache flashing in his eyes. The heartache, of course, was for the Pseudo-dragon.
Deciding that what his eyes don’t see, his heart doesn’t grieve over, Xu Haishui strode forwards, steadying himself and barely reached the middle of the Pseudo-dragon’s body. Just as he was about to prepare himself, he saw the Pseudo-dragon plunging into water at a breakneck speed. He scrambled to lower his body, extending his claws from his palms and dug them into the Pseudo-dragon’s body.
The energy inside Tang Ye quickly recovered and in no time, it was restored by ten percent. Seeing the Pseudo-dragon swiftly plunging into the water, he dug his claws into the Pseudo-dragon’s flesh along with Ah Fu.
Splash-
Gurgle...
The Pseudo-dragon roared as it dove under, its body moving back and forth in the water as it tried to shake off the three zombies on its back. After several futile attempts, it could only crawl forward with great speed, like a high-speed train, no, even faster than that!
In just five or six seconds, the Pseudo-dragon had reached the opposite bank. Without hesitation, it plunged headlong into the dense forest, its huge body writhing about, leaving destruction behind!
Numerous trees were knocked down, and the branches were moist. The tremors caused by the Pseudo-dragon sent mist into the air, imbuing it with a refreshing scent.
It was winter and the trees on the other bank only had a few lifeless yellow leaves hanging on them. Dewdrops adorned the tips of the leaves. Some of the trees had no leaves at all and stood bare.
Once reaching solid land, the Pseudo-dragon charged straight into the trees. Such was the force that tree trunks as thick as water barrels shattered into wood chips, making a "crash" sound!
Having shaken most of the water from their bodies, Tang Ye and Ah Fu resumed their meal. Xu Haishui stood in the front, reminding them, "Boss, don’t kill it, I have a use for it!"
His words carried a strong tone of pleading. He had long considered this dragon to be his possession. No one would like a creature full of bite marks.
Yet to his dismay, Tang Ye and Ah Fu ignored him. They were completely engrossed in their delicious meal, entirely oblivious to the outside world.
Even if a living person stood in front of Ah Fu, without Tang Ye’s intervention, Ah Fu wouldn’t even bother to heed him. The flesh of this Pseudo-dragon was the zombies’ ultimate food. He wondered what would be the reactions of the survivors if they got to taste it.
Even if it was this delicious when eaten raw, how much better would it be when cooked and seasoned?
Unfortunately, human food tasted like shit to zombies, a taste zombies wouldn’t dare touch.
The body of the Pseudo-dragon suddenly shot upward as it had climbed onto a slope. When Tang Ye looked back, he saw a noticeable trench cut from the forest by the Pseudo-dragon’s path.
When they reached the slope, the terrain became steeper. As they crawled up, their bodies rose and fell. Occasionally, they would see small creatures squashed by the Pseudo-dragon. Its weight sent their internal organs flying.
From afar, one would find the Pseudo-dragon moving on top of the slope like a black line, a sight that would send chills down the spine!
That line was moving, indicating it was a creature!
Xu Haishui crawled along, closing his eyes as his chest heaved rhythmically. He disappeared momentarily and when he returned, several pieces of the previous scale armor appeared on his hand. His facial expression was distorted as if he was in great pain.
As quickly as these changes occurred, they disappeared at a similar speed. Roughly when the Pseudo-dragon climbed over the stones, Xu Haishui opened his mouth wide, and slowly a palm-sized, dark red creature emerged.
Because of this enigmatic little creature, Xu Haishui had to strain his mouth open to its maximum limit to finally spit it out.
Once the creature was out, it obediently crawled into Xu Haishui’s palm. He smiled satisfactorily with greed flashing in his eyes.
Right from the time he saw the Pseudo-dragon, he never ceased to think about it. He was hell-bent on making it his own!
He wanted to make this Pseudo-dragon part of his collection!
Holding the dark red creature in his hand, Xu Haishui began to tiptoe towards the Pseudo-dragon’s head. But after a few steps, it seemed that the Pseudo-dragon had realized that it couldn’t shake off the three zombies on its back. Infuriated, it rolled over with full force!
Caught off-guard, Xu Haishui was flung far away. Tang Ye too was stunned, but his tentacles were tightly attached to the Pseudo-dragon’s flesh so he wasn’t shaken off.
Ah Fu, thanks to his large body size, stumbled and fell on his face, but he promptly got up. He grabbed onto some of the Pseudo-dragon’s scales and crawled onto its back.
"Damn!" Xu Haishui who was flung landed on muddy ground. He got up and rushed towards the Pseudo-dragon. The Pseudo-dragon was fast, and once it ran, he wouldn’t be able to catch up!
Thankfully, the Pseudo-dragon didn’t run. Enduring its pain, it roared and turned back at Ah Fu!
Tang Ye squinted his eyes, retracting a pair of meat stalks that had been plunged into the Pseudo-dragon, and quickly wrapped them around Ah Fu and he retracted himself.
Roar!
The Pseudo-dragon roared again, rolling its body back and forth, tossing Tang Ye and Ah Fu from left to right. Ah Fu was almost thrown under the Pseudo-dragon’s belly, but Tang Ye twisted his tentacles and threw him onto the Pseudo-dragon’s body again.
The moment Ah Fu landed on Pseudo-dragon’s body, he lifted his legs. His claws, sharp as knives, stabbed into the rotting flesh of the Pseudo-dragon.
The Pseudo-dragon writhed in pain, with blood spurting around. Unable to bear the sight, Tang Ye opened his wings and flew in the sky. The meat probes clinging to Pseudo-dragon’s life were increasingly ripped off due to the Pseudo-dragon’s strenuous movements.
Helplessly, Tang Ye could only stay put and continue draining the energy.
