Bick followed his wife into the bedroom, and Ariana closed the door behind them. It seemed they were discussing a private matter. "Maybe I just age slowly," Tang Ye shrugged, looking again at Bick, whose interest didn’t seem to have lessened after their conversation. It wasn’t long before his wife Ariana came out with Gina. Now dressed in new clothes and carefully attended to by Ariana, Gina looked dazzling, inspiring lovely fantasies as if a fairy from a tale, and her appearance closely matched the Chinese aesthetic of Lan Ou people. She bore a close resemblance to Chloe Moretz, a celebrity from the Lan Ou Continent before the Apocalypse.

The plot took a twist. Although Bick had tried to push his daughter onto him during the previous visits, the major difference this time was Gina being groomed and adorned first, giving the impression of Bick’s more earnest intentions.

However, fortunately, with the experience from the previous two instances, Tang Ye had tactful language to refuse Bick, and only heard him asking, "How old is your daughter Gina this year?"

"Ten... sixteen!" After some hesitation, Bick finally answered.

Tang Ye knew that Bick was lying, setting aside Gina’s actual age. Her current appearance even suggesting fifteen could be false, let alone sixteen being outright impossible.
