The scene should have been terrifying, as the silver beast was clearly not a normal creature and looked very dangerous. Yet, the onlookers, instead of fleeing or showing any strangeness, simply glanced and continued their business.

The children being chased were not panicked but rather wore smiles of joy on their faces, seemingly engaged in some sort of game.

That silver beast was not a zombie but a silver-armored corpse! Su Sigui was familiar with this type of zombie, recognizing it instantly. What truly intrigued Su Sigui was the woman leading the zombie; she too was a high-level zombie. Judging by the lively expression on her face, her intelligence was possibly on par with Ha Zhen.

"It’s yet another zombie."

"Okay, stop talking. Haven’t we seen enough along the way?"

A person in the back seat reminded. After leaving Ha Zhen’s store, they had encountered at least fifteen high-level zombies on their way here, the lowest being a Level 6 zombie. Oddly, they hadn’t seen any Level 5 zombies.

The zombie led by the woman was the first they had seen below Level 6 since arriving here.

And the woman, much like Ha Zhen, had no scent of new human blood on their bodies, appearing to the onlookers as if they were animated corpses.

After the car stopped at a designated spot, Su Sigui and her companions opened the car doors and got out.

"We’ll go have a look; you can wait here, old man."

"I’m fine; don’t worry, go ahead."

Su Sigui nodded and led her group towards the entrance. The dim cave ahead truly resembled the mouth of a giant beast, awaiting its food to come of its own accord.
