Chapter 84: Radiance Unleashed

Chapter: Radiance Unleashed

The sky hung heavy, painted in hues of deep blue and purple.

The streets were eerily silent, the tension of an emergency lockdown gripping the city like an iron vice.

Far away, in the deserted expanse of the Abandoned Park, Adam and Tayo faced each other.

The park, once a forgotten haven, now bore an ominous air with the looming threat of vampires haunting the shadows.

Tayo, floating some distance away from Adam, her expression calm but resolute, called out to him. "Lord Adam, I am ready. Just say the word, and I’ll show you my skills."

Adam in his normal outfit stood firm. He gave a faint nod, his voice steady. "I’m ready too, Tayo. Begin whenever you are."

Tayo smiled faintly, tilting her head in acknowledgment. "Then let’s start." She extended her hands forward, her fingers splaying out as golden light began to emanate from them.

Golden streaks danced around her fingers, swirling and gathering into a radiant orb at her fingertips.

The energy pulsated, its brilliance almost blinding, as the sphere grew in intensity.

The air around her crackled with raw energy, and Adam watched intently, his keen eyes barely able to keep up with the dazzling display.

With a swift motion, Tayo launched the glowing orb forward. It streaked through the air like a blazing comet, its trajectory precise and unyielding.

The orb struck the ground some distance away, erupting with a deafening roar.

The earth trembled as the impact carved a massive crater into the ground, the edges charred and smoldering as if licked by flames.

The heat from the blast warped the air, distorting the view of the devastation left behind.

Adam’s eyes widened in awe. Despite his formidable strength and experience, even he couldn’t entirely follow the speed of Tayo’s attack.

As Tayo lowered her hands, the golden glow dimmed momentarily.

But she wasn’t done yet. Bringing her palms together, she closed her eyes, concentrating deeply.

Slowly, she parted her hands, revealing a radiant golden sphere of energy forming between them.

The orb shimmered with an ethereal light, pulsating with rhythmic waves of power. Without hesitation, she thrust her hands forward, unleashing the energy with unmatched force.

The sphere tore through the air, its velocity shattering the sound barrier with a sharp, thunderous boom.

It hurtled towards a cluster of trees and plants in the park, detonating upon impact with a fiery explosion.

The sheer force of the blast uprooted trees and scorched the earth, reducing the once lush greenery to ashes.

Adam stood rooted, his amazement growing with each display of Tayo’s power.

Tayo ascended slightly, hovering mid-air as she unleashed another barrage.

Golden, bullet-like orbs of energy fired from her glowing palms, each one hitting its target with unerring accuracy.

The park transformed into a battlefield, the ground riddled with craters and the air thick with the acrid scent of charred vegetation.

Adam’s Command

"Tayo! Stop!" Adam’s voice rang out, firm yet urgent.

Tayo, mid-attack, halted abruptly. She pulled her hands back, the golden glow dissipating as her fingers curled into fists.

Hovering back towards Adam, she lowered her gaze, guilt etched across her face.

"I’m sorry, Lord Adam," she murmured, her voice soft with regret. "I didn’t mean to disappoint you."

Tayo feels that Adam is angry with her, that’s why he stopped her in the middle, he is going to scold her right now.

Adam chuckled, his tone light and reassuring. "Don’t worry. You’ve done exceptionally well. I’m very impressed."

Her eyes lit up with relief and joy. "Truly, Lord Adam?"

"Absolutely," Adam replied, his tone sincere. "But now isn’t the time to linger. Come with me quickly."

Tayo nodded, landing lightly on Adam’s arm before perching there. In an instant, Adam activated his teleportation ability, whisking them both away.

Moments later, a group of figures arrived at the park. Their crimson eyes glowed faintly.

Among them was a striking boy with fiery red hair and pale, almost tan skin. Beside him stood another girl with brown hair and similarly glowing red eyes.

The brown-haired girl, Sophia, scanned the destruction, her expression a mix of curiosity and concern.

She turned to the man beside her, a tall figure named Brian, who was inspecting the charred craters with a furrowed brow.

"Brian," she said sharply, "did you see who was here?"

Brian shook his head, his tone grim. "No, Sophia. Whoever they were, they left before we arrived. But judging by the devastation..." He gestured to the ruined park. "They were incredibly powerful."

Sophia narrowed her eyes. "I’ll alert all nearby vampires. There’s an unexpected enemy in the city. This could be a power-holder."

Brian nodded. "I’ll return to the base and report this to the Vampire Lord."

With that, the two exchanged glances and vanished into the night, leaving the ruined park behind.

Adam reappeared in his room, the air shimmering faintly as the teleportation skill faded.

He lowered himself onto the floor, his mind racing with thoughts of the battle ahead.

Tayo floated before him, her form glowing faintly as she hovered in the air.

"I trust you completely now," Adam said, his voice steady. "You’re more than capable of handling any vampire we encounter."

Tayo beamed with pride. "Thank you, Lord Adam. It brings me great joy to serve you."

Adam smiled faintly. "This time, we won’t delay. Tonight, we’ll strike back."

Tayo nodded, determination glinting in her eyes. "Whenever you’re ready, Lord Adam, I am as well. Your enemies are my enemies."

Adam chuckled. "Exactly. The world needs to understand what happens when they dare cross you. Everyone will know your power."

Tayo grinned, a mischievous glint in her eye. "Anyone who challenges you will face my wrath, and I’ll make sure the world knows your greatness."

Adam paused, surprised by her words. An idea began forming in his mind, a slow smile spreading across his face.

Tayo is surprised to see Adam’s reaction, she knows that Adam is planning something in his mind.

The Chapter ended with Adam deep in thought, the glimmer of a plan taking shape.
