Chapter 80: The Creation of Tayo
The faint golden glow of the morning sun filtered into Adam’s room through the cracks in the curtains.
His once vibrant space now felt cold and lifeless, as though the room itself reflected the emptiness within him.
Standing in the center of the room, Adam surveyed his surroundings, his breathing shallow.
The bed, neatly made but untouched, seemed almost foreign, like a relic of a simpler time.
"I had to do it," he muttered to himself, his voice echoing faintly against the silence.
"If I hadn’t, who knows? Maybe I would’ve lost even the ability to sleep." His expression hardened as his thoughts turned to the battles ahead.
"The threats I face are colossal. If I’m going to survive, I’ll have to make tough decisions."
Adam stepped closer to the window, letting the warm sunlight wash over his face.
For a fleeting moment, peace teased the edges of his turbulent mind. How wonderful it would be if things could stay quiet. If these threats didn’t constantly loom over me.
He exhaled deeply, shaking his head as if to banish the wistful thought.
"I shouldn’t waste time thinking about what could have been," he murmured. Turning his gaze to the sunlight spilling through the window, he whispered, "Creation of a new life form..."
The air around him seemed to shift. Without warning, a vivid purple window materialized before him, its glowing edges radiating an aura of otherworldly power.
The text on it was clear, precise, and startling:
________________________________
Do you want to create a new life form—Sun Spirit?
Yes / No
_________________________________
Adam stared at the window, his mind racing. Sun Spirit? That sounds... ambitious. Doubt flickered across his face, but he knew hesitation had no place in his journey. Steeling himself, he clicked YES.
---
The moment his finger pressed the confirmation, an intense surge of energy erupted from within his body.
Adam’s knees buckled, and he clutched his chest, teeth gritted against the overwhelming force.
A glowing purple sphere began to form in front of him, feeding off the torrent of energy pouring from his core.
The sphere, initially no larger than a marble, began to expand, its surface pulsating with radiant purple light.
Adam fell to his knees, his hands pressing against the cold floor for support as the energy drain intensified. His breaths came in ragged gasps.
"Not... stopping," he managed to whisper, feeling his strength slip away.
The orb continued to grow, now the size of a human fist, its glow becoming blinding.
Then, just as Adam thought he could take no more, the sphere began to take shape. Its form elongated, its edges softening until it resembled a humanoid figure.
The radiant glow dimmed slightly, revealing the figure of a fairy-like being.
She stood tall, her golden hair cascading in waves down her back, shimmering like sunlight.
Her delicate wings, a brilliant shade of purple, emitted a soft luminescence that painted the room in warm hues.
Her eyes, strikingly mismatched—one a deep, serene blue and the other a fiery crimson—shone with an ethereal light.
Adam, still on the ground, forced himself to look up. His vision blurred, but he could make out the fairy’s golden dress, which seemed to ripple like liquid sunlight.

Another purple window appeared in front of Adam, its message clear:

Still trembling, Adam clenched his jaw and pressed YES.
Fresh waves of energy surged out of him, but this time, the fairy responded.
She closed her eyes, her entire body glowing as if absorbing the knowledge.
The energy drain ceased abruptly. Adam collapsed forward, his forehead brushing the cold floor as he gasped for air.
Moments later, the fairy opened her eyes, now filled with understanding. Hovering gracefully in the air, she looked down at Adam with a gentle smile.
"Lord Adam," she said, her voice soft and melodic, "please grant me a name."
Adam struggled to respond. His body felt like it had been wrung dry of every ounce of strength.
The fairy, noticing his difficulty, fluttered closer. She gently placed her hand on his forehead.
A soothing warmth spread through him, rejuvenating his weary body.
Adam’s eyes widened as he felt a surge of vitality course through his veins. The fairy’s touch had restored his strength.
"Thank you," he said hoarsely, sitting up to face her.
The fairy withdrew her hand, hovering back a few feet.
She folded her wings delicately and tilted her head in a polite bow. "Lord Adam, I humbly ask again. Please grant me a name."
Adam’s mind raced. A name... She’s referred to as a Sun Spirit. Something related to the sun feels fitting. He studied her glowing form, her radiant beauty a testament to the power of creation.
"Tayo," he said finally, his voice steady. "From today, your name will be Tayo."
The fairy’s body began to glow once more, this time with an intense purple light.
She closed her eyes, her form briefly enveloped in the luminous aura.
When the glow subsided, she opened her eyes and smiled warmly at Adam.
"Thank you, Lord Adam," Tayo said, bowing deeply. "It is my greatest honor to serve my creator."
Adam felt a rare smile tug at the corners of his lips. "Welcome to this world, Tayo."
Tayo fluttered her wings, her expression one of pure joy. "Please, command me. I will do anything you ask of me, my Lord."
Adam’s curiosity overtook him. "What did you do earlier?" he asked, his voice laced with wonder. "I was on the brink of collapse, but when you touched me, it felt like my strength returned instantly."
Adam could not believe that Tayo returned all his strength with just one touch, it was a huge surprise.
Tayo’s smile softened. "That is one of my abilities, my Lord. It is called Gentle Touch."
Adam’s eyes narrowed slightly, intrigued. "Gentle Touch? Tell me more about it."
As Tayo began to explain, Adam leaned forward, eager to uncover the mysteries of the being he had just created.
