Chapter 295: PLEASE SKIP THIS Chapter
_______________________________
Hey everyone,
I have to post this message with a very heavy heart because I’ve made a huge mistake, and I am incredibly sorry for it.
I somehow managed to upload a completely wrong set of Chapters. Everything from Chapter 292 all the way to Chapter 313 is incorrect and has nothing to do with our main storyline. I can only imagine how confusing this must have been for all of you, and I am truly ashamed of this error.
So, this is what I need you all to do:
Please, please SKIP all Chapters from 292 to 313.
The story picks back up correctly at Chapter 314. Please jump straight to Chapter 314.

Mechanical giant looming over the battlefield, its glowing eyes scanning the area as its massive weapons hum to life. The Union forces momentarily freeze, the sheer size and power of the machine instilling a sense of dread.
Adam stands at the front, his eyes locked on the machine. His mind races as he assesses the situation. The machine is heavily armored, bristling with plasma cannons and energy blades on its arms. Its legs dig into the ground, stabilizing it for battle.
Phantom steps forward, her expression calm but focused. "This thing wasn’t in the intel. What’s the plan?"
Adam takes a deep breath, his voice steady as he gives his orders. "Phantom, Sona, and Tayo, keep it distracted. Target its joints and sensors. Emily and Ninja, provide cover for the rest of the teams. I’ll look for its control system."
Phantom nods. "Understood."
Phantom moves first, leaping into the air with her energy blades glowing faintly in the dark. She targets the machine’s head, aiming for the sensors embedded in its eyes. The machine responds instantly, firing a barrage of plasma bolts in her direction. Phantom twists mid-air, narrowly avoiding the blasts as she counters with a precision strike to its left eye, cracking the sensor.
On the ground, Sona and Tayo coordinate their attacks. Sona generates a powerful telekinetic force, slamming it into the machine’s knee joint, while Tayo uses her burning touch to melt parts of the armor. Despite their efforts, the machine’s defensive systems activate, emitting a shockwave that pushes them back.
"It’s tough!" Sona shouts, her voice laced with frustration.
"It’s not invincible," Tayo replies, her eyes narrowing as she prepares for another strike.
While his creations engage the giant, Adam slips around the battlefield, using the shadows to remain undetected. He activates The Divine Hand, scanning the machine’s energy field for weaknesses. A faint glow catches his attention—an access panel on its back, near the base of its spine.
"That’s it," Adam mutters to himself.
He taps into the comms. "Phantom, keep its attention focused on you. I’ve found its weak spot."
Phantom grins, her energy blades sparking as she prepares another attack. "You’ve got it, Adam. Just make it quick."
The machine roars, its weapons shifting to track Phantom and the others. It slams a massive energy blade into the ground, creating a shockwave that sends chunks of debris flying through the air. Phantom shields herself, but the force pushes her back.
Sona and Tayo regroup, their eyes narrowing as the machine turns toward them. "We need to buy Adam more time," Sona says, her voice firm.
Tayo nods. "Let’s give it everything we’ve got."
The two launch a coordinated assault, with Sona using her telekinesis to pin the machine’s legs while Tayo focuses on weakening its armor. Sparks fly as their attacks land, but the machine retaliates with another wave of plasma fire.
As the others keep the machine occupied, Adam reaches the access panel. He pulls a small device from his belt—a hacking module designed by Zero. Pressing it against the panel, he watches as the device begins to override the machine’s systems.
Suddenly, the machine shudders, its movements becoming erratic. "It’s working," Adam whispers, his eyes locked on the screen of the hacking module.
Inside the machine, alarms blare as its systems are overridden. Adam’s face hardens as he navigates the machine’s controls, searching for its power core. He finds it—a massive energy source located deep within the machine’s chest.
"I need to overload it," Adam mutters, tapping into the module’s interface.
Back on the battlefield, Phantom notices the machine’s movements becoming more unstable. "Adam, whatever you’re doing, keep going. It’s working!"
Adam’s voice comes through the comms, tense but determined. "I’ve found its core. I’m overriding the system, but I need more time."
The machine roars again, thrashing wildly as it senses its systems being compromised. It slams its energy blade into the ground, creating a massive shockwave that sends Phantom, Sona, and Tayo flying.
Emily’s voice cuts through the comms. "Adam, hurry! We can’t hold it off much longer!"
Adam staring at the hacking module’s progress bar, which inches closer to completion. The machine’s thrashing grows more violent, its systems struggling against Adam’s override.
Phantom pulls herself to her feet, her eyes blazing with determination as she prepares for one final attack. "We’ve got your back, Adam," she says, her voice steady.
The camera pans to Adam’s face, sweat dripping down his forehead as he mutters under his breath, "Just a few more seconds..."
mechanical giant thrashing violently, its Movements erratic as Adam’s hacking module digs deeper into its systems. Sparks fly from its joints, and smoke begins to seep from its chest. Adam’s focus remains unshaken as the progress bar on his hacking module inches closer to 100%.
"Just hold on a little longer," Adam mutters, his fingers flying across the interface.
Phantom, Sona, and Tayo regroup, their faces streaked with dirt and sweat. Despite the chaos, their determination burns brightly.
Sona wipes her forehead, glaring at the giant. "We’ve got to keep it distracted. If Adam fails, this thing could take us all out."
Phantom nods, gripping her energy blades tightly. "Then let’s make sure he doesn’t fail."
Phantom leaps into the air, her energy blades sparking with power. She charges toward the machine’s head, aiming for the damaged sensor Adam had identified earlier. The machine swings one of its massive energy blades at her, but she twists mid-air, narrowly avoiding the strike.
"Come on, you oversized tin can!" she shouts, slamming her blades into the machine’s head. The force of the attack cracks the sensor further, and the machine staggers, its movements becoming even more erratic.
Meanwhile, Sona and Tayo focus on its legs. Sona uses her telekinesis to create a field of force, slowing the machine’s movements, while Tayo burns through the armor around its joints. Their combined efforts leave the machine vulnerable, buying Adam precious time.
The mechanical giant lets out a deafening roar, its remaining sensors glowing brighter as it prepares one final attack. Its chest opens, revealing a massive energy cannon that hums with destructive power.
Emily, watching from a safe distance, shouts into the comms, "Adam, whatever you’re doing, do it now! It’s charging a blast that’ll wipe us all out!"
Adam’s heart pounds as he stares at the hacking module’s progress bar—99%. "Come on, come on!" he whispers through gritted teeth.
The machine’s energy cannon begins to glow, its power surging as it prepares to fire. Phantom and the others launch a desperate assault, trying to disrupt the attack. Sona slams the machine with a massive telekinetic force, while Tayo melts through the remaining armor on its chest.
Despite their efforts, the machine remains standing, its cannon fully charged.
At the last possible second, Adam’s hacking module beeps, the progress bar hitting 100%. A new window pops up on the screen, displaying the words: CORE OVERRIDE SUCCESSFUL. INITIATE OVERLOAD?
Adam doesn’t hesitate. He slams his hand onto the confirmation button.
Inside the machine, its core begins to destabilize. The energy cannon flickers, its glow fading as the core’s energy is redirected. The machine convulses, its thrashing growing more violent as its systems spiral out of control.
"Everyone, get back!" Adam shouts into the comms. "It’s going to blow!"
Phantom, Sona, and Tayo retreat, their movements swift as they put as much distance as possible between themselves and the machine.
The mechanical giant lets out one final roar before its core explodes, releasing a massive shockwave that ripples across the battlefield. The force of the blast sends Adam and the others flying, debris raining down around them.
As the dust settles, Adam slowly pushes himself to his feet, coughing as he waves the debris away. His eyes scan the battlefield, searching for his team.
"Phantom? Sona? Tayo?" he calls out, his voice hoarse.
"We’re here," Phantom replies, her voice steady but tired. She helps Sona and Tayo to their feet, the three of them covered in dust and scratches but otherwise unharmed.
Adam breathes a sigh of relief, his shoulders relaxing as he takes in the sight of his team alive and well.
The battlefield is littered with the remnants of the mechanical giant, its once-imposing frame reduced to smoldering wreckage. Sparks fly from the twisted metal, and the air is thick with the scent of smoke and burnt wiring.
Emily and Ninja emerge from their cover, their expressions a mix of relief and exhaustion. "You did it, Adam," Emily says, her voice filled with admiration.
Adam shakes his head, his gaze fixed on the wreckage. "We did it," he corrects her. "But this isn’t over. Whoever sent that thing knows we’re a threat now. They’ll be coming for us."
Phantom steps forward, her eyes narrowing as she looks at the remains of the machine. "Let them come," she says firmly. "We’ll be ready."
As the team regroups, Adam’s comm device buzzes. He pulls it out, his brow furrowing as he reads the message on the screen: "Unknown Entity Detected Near Base."
Adam’s jaw tightens, his mind racing as he processes the implications. "Looks like we’ve got more company," he says, his voice grim.
The Chapter ends with Adam and his team standing amidst the wreckage, their resolve stronger than ever as they prepare for the next battle.
