Chapter 244: Prisoner In Another Dimension
Chapter: Prisoner In Another Dimension
The atmosphere in the room was heavy with tension as Adam observed Phantom.
Her failure to release Christina weighed on him, but he knew dwelling on it wouldn’t help.
Taking a deep breath, he shifted his focus back to Samuel, who had finally opened his eyes. The defiance in Samuel’s gaze hadn’t diminished, even after everything.
Samuel leaned back in his chair, his voice cold and laced with mockery. "What now, Adam? What are you planning to do with me? Let me save you the trouble—you can’t kill me."
Samuel knows that Adam is very helpless because one of his creations is with Samuel and because of this adam cannot kill him, Adam also knows this and that is why he is not saying much.
Adam raised an eyebrow, momentarily surprised by Samuel’s arrogance. But instead of engaging with the taunt, Adam smiled faintly.
"Who said anything about killing you? I don’t believe in such extreme measures. Unlike you, I’m not a psychopath."
Even if Samuel did not have any of Adam’s creations, Adam would not have killed Samuel because he believes that no one can find a solution by dying.
Adam is very disturbed by Samuel’s thinking and he knows that he cannot change him so easily, hence the best solution for Adam is to lock him up somewhere forever.
Samuel’s smirk faltered for a moment, replaced by a flicker of frustration.
Adam’s calm demeanor was a sharp contrast to his own brashness, which only irritated him further.
Adam stood from his chair and turned toward Zero, who had been silently watching the exchange. "Zero," Adam said, his voice steady, "you’re coming with me."
Adam decides that he will take Zero with him to his dimension where he can upgrade them significantly as the technology in his dimension is far superior to that of Earth,
Zero nodded without hesitation, stepping forward to stand beside Adam. At the same time, Adam moved to stand directly in front of Samuel, who regarded him with a mix of frustration and unease.
In his mind, Adam sent a telepathic message to Pratham. "Send 90% of the evolved artificial intelligence species back to their dimension immediately."
In this situation, Adam had completely forgotten that all the evolved artificial intelligence beings living in his dimension were present here and he had forgotten to send them back.
Pratham’s response came almost instantly. "Lord Adam, I’ve already completed the task, assuming you might forget in the rush of events."
Adam paused, momentarily taken aback. "My apologies, Pratham," he thought back. "I should have informed you earlier."
"No need, Lord Adam," Pratham replied, his tone calm. "I understand you’ve had a lot on your mind."
Adam is very happy with Pratham’s intelligence and quick thinking as it is he who has helped Adam out of many situations.
Adam couldn’t help but smile slightly. Pratham’s initiative and intelligence always impressed him, and in moments like these, it was invaluable.
Adam placed a hand on Zero’s shoulder and another on Samuel’s, who flinched at the contact. Samuel’s expression darkened as Adam spoke directly to him. "We’re going to a new dimension."
As Samuel scowled in frustration, a blue screen materialized before Adam, displaying a message:
"You are attempting to bring two external life forms into your dimension. Proceed?"
Without hesitation, Adam ignored the message. A split second later, the three figures—Adam, Zero, and Samuel—disappeared from the interrogation room.
Emily and Krish, who had been watching from the side, exchanged startled glances. They were astonished to see that Samuel, along with his chair, had vanished entirely.
The scene shifted to a stark white room, its walls, ceiling, and floor made of gleaming white tiles that reflected the bright overhead lights. The room was devoid of any visible exits, giving it an air of unsettling isolation.
As they materialized in the room, Adam immediately noticed UV-2 standing in the corner, waiting for his arrival. The humanoid construct bowed respectfully. "Lord Adam, we’ve been expecting you."
Adam acknowledged UV-2 with a brief nod. "I’ve brought another prisoner," he said, gesturing toward Samuel. "Ensure he’s properly contained."
UV-2 responded confidently. "We’ll handle him with the utmost care, Lord Adam."
Adam turned to Samuel, who now looked visibly uneasy for the first time. The room, with its pristine and sterile design, emanated a sense of cold detachment.
Adam stepped closer to Samuel, his tone steady and commanding. "Samuel," he said, "I’m assigning you a negative title: Internal Prisoner."
As Adam spoke, a blue screen appeared before him, outlining the effects of the new designation:
______________________
You have assigned a Negative Title to this external life form. Effects:
1. The subject cannot leave this dimension without your explicit permission.
2. All powers will be restricted by 90%.
3. Physical abilities will be reduced by 90%.

The moment the title was applied, Samuel gasped, his body sagging as if an enormous weight had been placed on his shoulders.
His breathing grew labored, and he fell to his knees, clutching his sides.
The energy that had once coursed through him so confidently now felt like a distant memory.
"What have you done to me?" Samuel rasped, his voice filled with desperation.
Adam didn’t respond, his expression unreadable as he turned to Zero. "Zero," he said, "I want you to study this dimension’s technology. Use it to upgrade yourself as much as possible."
Zero’s eyes glinted with excitement. He bowed slightly. "Yes, Lord Adam. I’ll ensure I’m ready for any future challenges."
Adam nodded. "Good. Once you’re done, use those upgrades to reinforce Samuel’s restraints. I don’t want any room for error."
With his instructions given, Adam glanced once more at Samuel, who remained slumped on the floor, defeated. Then, turning to Zero, he added, "You have your task. I’m leaving now."
Zero bowed again, his enthusiasm evident. As Adam prepared to teleport out of the dimension, Samuel glared at him, but the fire in his eyes had dimmed.
In a flash, Adam disappeared, leaving the white room behind.
