She was no longer completely consumed by fear. Sensing the moment was right, Adam leaned forward, his voice calm but firm.

"Miss Emily," he began, his tone calculated to hold her attention, "I know you’ve worked alongside Samuel, but seeing your skills, I want to offer you and Krish a choice."

Adam knows the potential of Emily and Krish, he wants to use both of them for his future plans, he will never get a better opportunity than this.

That’s why Adam makes this offer to Kris and Emily that he will overlook all their crimes including the fact that they both worked with Samuel.

His words drew the attention of everyone in the room. Emily’s green eyes darted toward Adam, unsure of his intentions.

Even Krish and Samuel, who had been sitting silently, shifted slightly, their expressions betraying curiosity.

"You have two options," Adam continued, his voice steady but carrying an edge of finality.

After listening to Adam, all his friends look at him and wonder what Adam is thinking. They don’t know at this moment but they all trust Adam and so no one is saying anything.

"The first is to remain loyal to Samuel. If you choose this, you’ll never see freedom again. I guarantee that as long as I’m alive, Samuel will not leave this place. And if you think he can save you, let me assure you—he cannot."

His words were like a heavy weight in the air, pressing down on everyone present. Samuel glared at Adam, his jaw tightening, but he said nothing. Krish’s usual arrogance faded as fear flickered across his face.

It is now completely confirmed that Adam will not leave Samuel at any cost. Now it remains to be seen whether he kills Samuel or imprisons him.

Hearing this from Adam, all his company looks at him in surprise. They cannot understand what Adam is thinking but they controls there expressions and starts looking back at Krish and Emily.

Samuel, Krish and Emily are quite surprised. After hearing this offer from Adam, Samuel wanted to say something but he stops in the middle and looks at Adam with great surprise.

The silence that followed was palpable. Krish was the first to break it, his voice desperate. "I accept your second offer! I’ll work for you, Lord Adam!"

Before he could say another word, Ninja’s blade flashed through the air. The tip of the katana stopped mere inches from Krish’s throat, the sharp edge glinting menacingly.

"Enough!" Adam commanded, his voice cutting through the tension.

Ninja froze, his blade steady but unmoving. His gaze shifted to Adam, awaiting further instruction.

"Ninja, stand down," Adam said firmly.

Reluctantly, Ninja withdrew his weapon, the blade sliding back into its sheath with a sharp click.

But his voice was low and threatening as he addressed Krish. "If you ever dare to address Lord Adam by name again, I’ll make sure your tongue is the first thing I cut."

Krish’s face turned pale, and a bead of sweat rolled down his temple. He nodded hastily, his voice trembling. "Understood, Master Adam."

Unbeknownst to Krish, Adam and Sona were both listening to his thoughts through telepathic abilities.

If Adam hadn’t stopped him... that samurai would have killed me, Krish thought, panic lacing his internal monologue.

Sona hovered nearby, her golden aura faint but present. She too picked up on Krish’s inner turmoil but didn’t comment.

As Ninja stepped back, Krish adjusted his posture and turned to Adam. He swallowed hard, then spoke with newfound resolve.

"Master," he began, his tone far more respectful, "I fully accept your offer. I will be loyal to you and the Union. My skills will serve you, and I will prove my worth."

Adam studied Krish carefully, his expression unreadable. Internally, his thoughts were far less forgiving.

Your worth is in your skills, Krish, not in who you are. If you didn’t possess the ability to control minds—especially that of the President and Prime Minister—I wouldn’t hesitate to leave you behind.

Despite these thoughts, Adam nodded. "Good. Let’s hope you can back up your words."

Adam’s attention shifted to Emily. Unlike Krish, she had remained silent, her gaze now meeting Adam’s directly for the first time.

For a moment, she seemed to study him, her green eyes searching his face for something—perhaps sincerity, or maybe a sign of weakness.

Finally, she spoke, her voice steady but soft. "I accept your offer, Master."

Her words surprised Adam, though he didn’t show it. He had expected resistance, maybe even silence. But there she was, pledging her loyalty.

Adam wanted to tell her to simply call him by his name, but he hesitated.

He glanced at his companions—Ninja, Zero, and Sona—all of whom had made it clear how they felt about anyone addressing him too casually.

For now, Adam decided, it was better not to push the issue.

Emily’s words hung in the air, marking the end of her decision. The room was silent, save for the faint hum of Zero’s energy core and the distant sound of wind outside the abandoned building.

Adam leaned back in his chair, his sharp gaze sweeping over the group. He had gained two new allies—both valuable in their own ways. But deep down, he knew the path ahead was fraught with danger.

Samuel won’t make this easy, Adam thought. And neither will the enemies we’ve yet to face.

For now, though, this was a step forward.
