Chapter 228: Phantom’s Power Unleashed
Chapter: Phantom’s Power Unleashed
---
Adam stood frozen, his gaze fixed on Phantom.
Her recent display of extraordinary power left him both astonished and intrigued.
He took a deep breath, trying to process everything as her glowing translucent figure floated steadily before him.
Her ethereal presence, radiating calm and confidence, seemed to command the attention of everyone in the room.
Adam and the rest of his creations have been trying to find the power holders for a long time but they have not been able to find them all completely, but Phantom’s statement has shocked him, adam is very surprised that just a few seconds after being created,
Phantom immediately begins searching for the power holder, but at the same time he is also very happy that if this task is accomplished, then many of his challenges will be reduced.
"Phantom," Adam began, his voice steady but tinged with curiosity, "can you confirm how far your ability to locate power holders extends?"
Phantom tilted her head slightly, as though calculating, her glowing white hair swaying gently with her movement.
After a brief pause, she replied, "Lord Adam, I can locate power holders within a radius of 10 kilometers. However," she added cautiously, "if they possess special abilities that conceal them from detection, I may not be able to find them."
"10 kilometers, did she say 10 kilometers? Do I create something powerful enough to fulfil this feat?"
Adam absorbed her words carefully, his eyes lighting up with hope.
He stood from his position on the floor and walked over to Phantom, his voice filled with determination. "Phantom, your skill is exactly what we need right now."
Adam turned toward Zero, who was sitting nearby, visibly drained from his earlier efforts to assist with Phantom’s creation. Adam’s concern was evident as he addressed him.
"Zero," Adam said, his voice firm yet considerate, "are you ready to work on building more entry detection devices?"
Zero, though exhausted, pushed himself upright with great effort. His breathing was labored, but his resolve was unshaken.
"Lord Adam," Zero said, his voice steady despite his condition, "I will serve you until my last breath. Tell me what to do, and I’ll see it done."
Adam observed Zero’s condition with concern, his brow furrowing.
He couldn’t ignore how exhausted Zero looked. Perhaps he needs rest, Adam thought to himself. An hour or two might give him the strength to recover.
Before Adam could suggest a break, Phantom stepped forward. Hovering just above the floor, she extended one glowing blue hand toward Zero.
Instantly, a wave of blue energy flowed from her palm, enveloping Zero in a cocoon of light.
The room filled with a soft hum as the energy wrapped around Zero, his body absorbing it like parched soil drinking water.
Zero’s eyes widened in surprise as he felt strength returning to him.
The exhaustion that weighed him down dissipated.
His circuits, damaged from overuse, began to repair themselves under Phantom’s restorative energy.
Everyone in the room turned their attention to Phantom, their expressions a mix of awe and curiosity.
Once her task was complete, Phantom lowered her hand and turned to Adam.
"Lord Adam," she said softly, bowing her head, "please forgive me for using my skill on Zero without your permission."
Adam raised both hands in reassurance, a wide smile breaking across his face.
"No, no, Phantom. You did the right thing. I’m glad you acted without waiting. But..." He paused, his curiosity getting the better of him. "What exactly did you just do?"
Phantom straightened, her calm voice explaining, "I activated my restoration skill. It temporarily restores someone to their peak state, regardless of their current condition. Zero is now functioning at full capacity, although the effect will only last for a short time."
Adam turned to Zero, who was already standing tall, his eyes glowing with renewed vigor.
"Phantom is right, Lord Adam," Zero said, his voice brimming with energy. "I feel like I can do anything right now!"
Adam’s relief and excitement were evident. "Good. Zero, start building as many antidetection devices as you can."
Turning to the monitors where Pratham and Mikasa’s avatars hovered, Adam continued, "Pratham, Mikasa, Phantom will relay the locations of power holders to you. Your job is to pinpoint their exact locations immediately."
Then, addressing Phantom, he said, "Phantom, begin searching for all power holders in the area, especially those whose lives might be in danger. So far, every power holder we’ve found has been killed. We cannot let that happen again."
Phantom nodded solemnly, her resolve clear in her glowing eyes. "Understood, Lord Adam."
Phantom raised her hands slowly, her translucent form glowing brighter as she floated higher.
Her movements were deliberate, almost ritualistic. The room grew silent as the air seemed to hum with energy.
A crystal emerged from the center of Phantom’s forehead, pulsing with a deep red light. From the crystal, waves of energy began to radiate outward, spreading across the city at the speed of light.
Meanwhile, at the outskirts of the city, Krish stood outside a modest home, his sharp eyes fixed on its door.
A sinister grin spread across his face as he muttered to himself, "Emily, why don’t we take someone precious to him? Imagine the look on Adam’s face when he realizes what we’ve done."
Emily, standing beside him with a calm demeanor, said nothing.
Her sword, strapped across her back, glinted faintly under the moonlight. She glanced toward the house, her expression cold and calculating.
"As the Cosmic Being instructed," Emily finally said, her voice low and measured, "we’ll kidnap the target. No unnecessary theatrics."
Her words carried an edge of finality, and Krish nodded, his grin unfaltering. His eyes gleamed with malice as he took a step closer to the house.

The Chapter ended with tension hanging heavy in the air. Phantom’s search had begun, but the looming threat of Krish and Emily brought a sense of impending danger that could change everything.
