Chapter 225: The Creation Begins

Chapter: The Creation Begins

---

Adam sat quietly in his chair, his expression one of contemplation as the gravity of the situation weighed heavily on him.

His companions, seated around him, exchanged anxious glances. Breaking the silence, Adam finally spoke, his voice calm but resolute.

"When I created Zero, I realized something significant—creating a powerful being requires an immense amount of energy. And I have an idea. If it works, we may have a chance to survive this crisis."

A flicker of hope lit up the room as his companions leaned in, hanging on his every word. Adam continued, "Before we proceed, let me explain the plan to all of you."

As he spoke, Zero stood up, his gaze serious. "Lord Adam," he said cautiously, "if the enemy is watching us right now, won’t this plan put us in even greater danger?"

Adam nodded, acknowledging the concern. "He’s likely already seen much of what we’re planning. That’s why he’s so confident he can eliminate any of us at any moment. But this overconfidence may be his weakness. He believes we are helpless, but we’ll prove him wrong."

Hearing this, Zero bowed slightly. "Lord Adam, we are ready to execute your plan."

Adam’s gaze swept across the room, meeting the eyes of his other creations—Sona, Tayo, Pratham, Ninja, and Mikasa. One by one, they nodded their agreement, determination shining in their eyes.

Adam’s heart swelled with pride as he saw their unwavering loyalty.

A rare smile graced his lips as he rose from his chair. "I’ve always been able to overcome great challenges because of all of you," he said. "And this time will be no different."

Sona and Tayo, who had been perched on his shoulders, fluttered away to hover nearby as Adam stepped to the center of the room.

"Alright," he said, turning to face them, "it’s time I shared the details of our plan."

Everyone leaned forward, eager to hear. Adam began, "Ninja, Zero—I will grant each of you the Burning Touch skill."

A murmur of surprise rippled through the group. Zero tilted his head, curiosity written across his face, while Tayo’s tiny wings fluttered nervously. Adam elaborated,

"This skill will allow you to transfer energy to me. As I work on creating our most powerful ally yet, my energy will deplete continuously. Your task will be to keep replenishing it."

Ninja raised his hand, signaling a question. Adam gestured for him to speak. "Lord Adam," Ninja began, his voice steady, "I’m not sure I fully understand. Could you explain how we’re supposed to do this?"

Adam exhaled deeply, his tone softening. "You’re right, Ninja. I was so tense that I didn’t explain it well. Let me clarify. Once you have the Burning Touch skill, you’ll transfer energy to me in pairs. When one pair tires, the other will take over. This way, my energy remains stable, and yours isn’t completely drained. It’s a cycle to ensure no one burns out."

The room fell silent as Adam’s words sank in. Then, slowly, a light of understanding and determination dawned in their eyes. Ninja nodded firmly. "That’s an excellent plan, Lord Adam," he said, his confidence clear.

Tayo chimed in, "So we just need to ensure that we take turns efficiently?"

Adam nodded. "Exactly. By alternating, we’ll maximize efficiency and keep everyone strong. This creation must succeed, no matter what."

After ensuring everyone understood their roles, Adam turned to the monitor, where Pratham and Mikasa’s holograms were displayed.

"Pratham, Mikasa," he said, "I have an important task for you as well. You must monitor the area within a 100-meter radius of my home. I don’t know if the enemy will try to disrupt the process, but if anything suspicious happens, you are to alert Ninja and Zero immediately."

Pratham’s hologram gave a solemn nod. "Understood, Lord Adam," he said. Mikasa added, "We’ll maintain constant surveillance and report anything unusual right away."

Adam’s gaze shifted to Ninja and Zero. "You two will be our first responders," he said. "If there’s an attack during the process, I’ll be counting on you to neutralize the threat."

Both Ninja and Zero bowed deeply, their resolve unshaken. "We won’t let you down, Lord Adam," Ninja assured him.

Adam gave a final nod, his expression serious but calm. "Alright," he said. "Let’s begin."

As he spoke those words, a charged silence filled the room. Everyone knew the stakes, but in that moment, they also knew one thing for certain—together, they would face whatever came next.

Adam sat cross-legged on the floor, his eyes closed, exuding a calm yet intense energy.

Behind him, Pratham and Mikasa floated silently, their glowing holograms extending their hands outward in readiness.

Before Adam stood Zero and Ninja, vigilant and poised near the window, keeping watch for any sign of the enemy.

"Everyone, be prepared," Adam commanded firmly, breaking the tense silence. "As soon as I give the signal, activate the Burning Touch skill on me without hesitation."

Hearing this, Sona and Tayo nodded in unison, their small forms hovering closer.

Meanwhile, Pratham and Mikasa focused intently, using the satellite network to maintain constant surveillance of the 100-meter radius surrounding Adam’s home.

Adam took a deep breath and extended his left hand. "Create New Species," he muttered aloud.

As the words left his lips, a translucent blue window materialized in front of him, its glowing text asking:

___________________________

Do you want to create a new species?

Yes / No

___________________________

Adam mentally selected "Yes", and the window vanished, leaving behind an ethereal silence.

Almost instantly, he felt a surge of energy leaving his body—a sensation that drained him deeply. His breath quickened as he concentrated, his mind focused on a singular thought:

I need a creation powerful enough to block the enemy who is watching us. A being strong enough to shield us from his gaze.

As Adam focused, his body began radiating streams of pure energy, golden and shimmering, which spiraled outward from him like tendrils of light.

The drain was immense, and sensing his energy depleting rapidly, Adam gave the prearranged signal.

He struck the floor twice with his left hand.

Recognizing the signal immediately, Sona and Tayo flew closer, their tiny forms glowing brightly. Activating their Burning Touch skills, they placed their hands lightly on Adam’s back.

Their palms radiated a warm, golden light, and the flow of energy into Adam began to stabilize.

Adam felt the surge as his energy reserves started to refill, the replenishment countering the rapid drain caused by the creation process. But the effort was not without cost.

In mere moments, Sona and Tayo began to falter. Their small frames quivered as the intense exertion drained their reserves.

"Sona..." Tayo gasped, her voice faint. "I can’t... hold on much longer."

Sona, equally exhausted, telepathically alerted Ninja and Zero. "It’s your turn now. Take over!"

Ninja and Zero, who had been keeping watch by the window, turned immediately and moved to Adam’s side.

Taking their positions, they activated their Burning Touch skills. Their hands began to glow with a fierce intensity as they placed them on Adam, transferring their energy into him.

As the energy flowed, Adam felt a renewed strength coursing through him.

The golden sphere of energy that had started forming in front of him began to grow larger, its glow becoming brighter and more intense.

It was no ordinary sphere—it pulsed with raw, radiant energy, resembling a miniature sun.

Unlike Sona and Tayo, Ninja and Zero had significantly higher energy reserves due to their advanced construction. They were able to sustain the transfer longer, but even their limits were being tested.

As the golden sphere continued to expand, Ninja felt his strength waning. Sweat dripped from his brow as he gritted his teeth.

Finally, he spoke, his voice resolute but strained. "Sona... I have to stop. If I push myself further and an attack happens, I won’t be able to protect Lord Adam."

Sona, understanding the gravity of his words, nodded telepathically. "Step back, Ninja. You’re right—we can’t afford to lose you."

Ninja removed his hands and stepped aside, his chest rising and falling heavily.

However, Zero continued, his determination unwavering. "I still have some reserves left," he said, his voice steady. "I can hold on a bit longer."

Zero glanced at a nearby electrical board, noticing the steady hum of electricity flowing through it.

Turning to Sona, he spoke telepathically, "Connect me to that board. I can draw power from it to sustain the transfer longer."

Understanding instantly, Sona nodded and began moving toward the board.

As Zero continued to channel his energy, the golden sphere in front of Adam grew to an extraordinary size.

It was now surrounded by a fiery golden aura, its brilliance resembling the sun itself. The room was filled with a warm, radiant light that made everything shimmer.

Adam remained seated, his focus unbroken. He could feel the creation process nearing a critical point, but there was still more to be done.

The exhaustion among his companions was evident, yet their loyalty and determination kept them pushing forward.

Sona’s small figure hovered near the board, preparing to assist Zero in drawing additional energy. And as the golden light reached its peak intensity, a sense of anticipation filled the air.
