Chapter 101: The Vampires’ Trap

---

The midday sun poured its light over Adam’s quiet house.

He sat in his dimly lit room, the only noise coming from the occasional chirping of birds outside.

The serenity of the moment was interrupted by the sharp buzz of his phone. Without hesitation, Adam picked it up.

"Where are you?" Leo’s voice was rushed, filled with urgency.

Adam leaned back in his chair, his tone calm. "At home. Why?"

"Is Tayo with you?" Leo’s question carried a weight that made Adam sit upright.

"Yes, she’s here," Adam replied, glancing at the tiny creature perched on his shoulder.

This creature is none other than the Sun Spirit which Adam had created a few days ago with the help of his power.

Leo’s words tumbled out rapidly. "Listen, there’s been an attack—vampires. They’re targeting a hospital in the nearby town. You need to get there. Now!"

Before Leo could say anything else, Adam ended the call.

He turned his gaze to Tayo. The small, winged creature, with her radiant golden glow and wings folded neatly, looked up at him, sensing the urgency.

She was about the size of his fist but exuded an aura far larger than her physical form.

"We have to move," Adam said.

Tayo stretched her wings, shimmering faintly in the light.

Tayo starts flying with the help of her wings and rises a little distance away from Adam. After listening to him, she says, "I am ready."

Adam stood, grabbing his mask and dark combat suit.

The attire clung to his form like a second skin, designed for anonymity and functionality.

With a nod to Tayo, he activated his teleportation skill, and in the blink of an eye, they were gone.

---

Adam and Tayo reappeared a short distance from the hospital.

The surrounding area bore signs of chaos—abandoned vehicles, shattered windows, and faint trails of blood leading toward the hospital gates.

Adam sees Tayo and thinks "I have to make Tayo visible to everyone so they can recognize her and see that Tayo is the one who defeated the vampire."

"Visibility on," Adam murmured, opening a translucent purple window in front of him. A prompt appeared:

Make your creation Sun spirit Tayo visible to others?

Yes / No

With a tap, Tayo’s shimmering form became visible to anyone around.

The glow of her wings illuminated the darkened street.

Without waiting for instructions, she launched herself toward the hospital, leaving a golden trail in her wake.

---

The scene shifted to the hospital grounds. Inside, panic reigned.

Doctors and nurses worked frantically to stabilize patients, many of whom were pale and lifeless, drained of blood by the vampires.

Others huddled in corners, fear etched onto their faces.

Outside, the situation was worse. Vampires—thirty in total—surrounded the building.

These were not ordinary vampires; they were high-level creatures, each emanating an aura of power.

Among them, three figures stood apart—newly created Generals, handpicked and enhanced by the Vampire Lord himself.

These are General vampires standing at a distance from the hospital, looking at them it seems that they are waiting for someone

Ethan, one of the Diamond Generals, observed the chaos from a nearby building. His sharp eyes gleamed as he analyzed the situation. This was more than just an attack—it was a trap.

Vampires are creating traps to trap power holders who can pose a threat to the vampires; before this, vampires have attacked Zora by trapping him in a similar way.

"Let them come," Ethan muttered. His plan was simple: draw out Tayo, study her abilities, and counter them in future battles.

The Generals remained hidden, each positioned strategically to oversee the unfolding carnage.

---

Tayo’s arrival was marked by a brilliant flash of light. Her small frame cut through the chaos, and her mere presence instilled hope among the hospital staff and patients.

Inside, whispers of relief spread. "Look, it’s her! She can save us!"

Outside, the vampires turned to face her, their crimson eyes narrowing.

The vampires are very happy to see Tayo; looking at them it seems as if they were waiting for Tayo.

Tayo hovered in the air, her wings flapping gently. Her voice, though soft, carried authority.

"You stand comfortably at your place, I will turn you back into a human without hurting you."

The vampires snarled in response, baring their fangs.

Without waiting, Tayo surged forward like a beam of light. She zipped through the first line of vampires, leaving a trail of radiant energy.

As she passed, she extended a tiny hand. "Gentle Touch," she whispered.

The effect was immediate. The fifteen vampires she had targeted stopped in their tracks, their bodies engulfed in a golden glow.

Their skin began to burn, but instead of disintegrating, they transformed. The ashen pallor of their vampire forms melted away, replaced by the healthy complexion of humans.

The newly transformed humans collapsed to the ground, breathing heavily, their expressions filled with confusion and relief.

Seeing this, the remaining fifteen vampires roared in unison and charged at Tayo.

---

All those vampires get very angry with Tayo and run from their positions towards Tayo, who is currently flying in the air with the help of her wings.

Tayo prepared to engage, her radiant wings casting a protective glow around her.

But before the vampires could reach her, a commanding voice boomed across the battlefield.

"Hold your ground! Do not engage!"

The vampires froze mid-charge, their bloodlust momentarily quenched.

Tayo turned her gaze toward the hospital’s boundary wall, where three figures sat in ominous silence.

The generals.

General, seated at the center, leaned forward, a smirk playing on his lips. "So, this is the fabled Tayo," he said, his voice dripping with mockery.

The other two Generals, equally imposing, flanked him. Their auras radiated menace, signaling power far beyond that of the vampires Tayo had just faced.

Tayo ascended higher, her glowing eyes locking onto the Generals. She clenched her tiny fists, the golden light around her intensifying.

General chuckled, unfazed. "Let’s see what you’ve got," he murmured.

And with that, the Chapter ended, leaving the battlefield poised for an explosive confrontation.
