Tess recognized Helena Mina, knowing that the person seated on her left was the chair of the United Council. For a moment, she was so surprised that she couldn’t speak.

Rada Gan sat opposite Helena, looked at Tess and Wei Tianyang, and kept quiet, maintaining the silence.

"A journalist seeking the truth," Wei Tianyang said as he looked toward Helena Mina, smiling.

"The truth is sometimes not important," Helena Mina said to Tess with a smile.

"Ms. Helen... I am... Tess, a local newspaper journalist," Tess said, extending her hand.

Helena did not shake her hand, just smiled and looked at her.

Tess awkwardly withdrew her hand, feeling that something was amiss.
