Chapter 475: Chapter 473: Cruel Training

Cha Na clenched the dagger, his whole body covered in blood.

Even though the air conditioning was on in the small room, he was still drenched in sweat, his shirt full of holes poked by knives.

Wei Tianyang stood on the other side of the room, slowly retracting his Bone Knife. He shook his hand, splattering blood on the floor.

"Again," he said coldly.

"Ahhhhhh!!!!!" Cha Na roared as he charged at Wei Tianyang, his hands tightly gripping the dagger as he stabbed towards his abdomen.

The next second, Wei Tianyang’s fingers grew three inches, piercing into Cha Na’s abdomen, mashing his intestines and liver into a pulp.

Cha Na felt so much pain that his body went limp; Wei Tianyang grabbed him, tossed him lightly, and he collapsed to the floor.

The wooden floor of the room was soaked to a dark crimson with blood. The smell of blood filled the 100-square space as Cha Na gasped heavily, watching Wei Tianyang walk over with a blood-covered cat in tow.

Wei Tianyang dropped the cat’s corpse onto the floor, then squatted down beside Cha Na.

"Your movements are too slow, and they lack deception," Wei Tianyang said leisurely.

In recent times, Wei Tianyang had started training the young hotshot and promised that if he could satisfy him, he would intervene to resolve the domestic war.

Facing what seemed an impossible task, Cha Na felt he could never gain Wei Tianyang’s approval.

He had never undergone any formal training, had no combat skills, and being just over fourteen, lacked the experience, strength, or technique of a warrior.

The night he managed to kill a few soldiers was only because he caught them off guard, and afterwards, he too was captured.

Wei Tianyang’s teaching methods were brutal and direct; he didn’t teach Cha Na any fighting techniques, simply handing him a knife and telling him to find a way to draw blood.

And his counterattacks weren’t just empty slaps, but stabbings through skin and muscles with the Bone Knife, tearing open organs and ripping out pieces of intestines.

Not hitting vital points was about the only tenderness he showed.

During this time, Cha Na slowly adapted to the pain. During the first few days, he would pass out, but now, he would lie down calmly on the floor, replaying his mistakes.

In the initial days, Wei Tianyang would quickly use stray cats to transfer the injuries from Cha Na, but now, he would squat and watch for a while, waiting until Cha Na bled enough and was on the brink of death, before pulling him back up.

At first, Cha Na thought Wei Tianyang was toying with him, but later he realized this was also a form of training. His fear of death diminished, and his sensitivity to pain lowered.

Like leveling up in a game, once Cha Na became accustomed to a certain level of pain, Wei Tianyang would strike more cunningly. Except for his heart, all his organs had been shredded by the sharp Bone Knife, and having his intestines pulled out was no longer something that terrified or alarmed him.

Now, as he lay on the floor, nearly unconscious, in his faint state, Cha Na’s thoughts were still on what went wrong with that last strike.

At that moment, the elevator outside dinged open.

Wei Tianyang transferred the wounds from Cha Na to the cat’s corpse, then headed for the door.

A sneaky figure emerged from the elevator, a black girl in her early twenties with an afro, wearing a red jacket and black jeans, her feet in black canvas shoes.

Wei Tianyang had already heard the girl’s thoughts, and after entering the elevator, Baphomet carried Yaha through objective reality, returning to the room.

The girl had broken Pei Guode Hotel’s rules, coming to the 28th floor without permission.

Wei Tianyang opened the door, stood in the doorway, and locked eyes with the girl.

The girl hesitated, and the two parties remained in a stalemate for quite some time.

Cha Na struggled to his feet from the ground, eyeing Wei Tianyang’s silhouette and thinking he’d seized an opportunity.

He picked up a dagger from the ground and tiptoed behind Wei Tianyang, aiming a stab at his lower back.

Wei Tianyang suddenly sidestepped, causing Cha Na to lunge at thin air, his upper body bursting out of the door. In response, Wei Tianyang extended his right hand with the Bone Knife and lightly slashed across Cha Na’s waist and abdomen.

Disappointment and annoyance etched on Cha Na’s face, he grunted faintly as his intestines spilled out through the terrifying wound in his waist, ensnared in blood and falling onto the corridor floor, causing him to collapse.

"Ah ah ah ah!!!" Tisi screamed in terror at the scene unfolding before her. She leaned against the wall, gradually sliding down. Her legs felt as if sedated, losing all sensation and forcing her to sit on the floor.

She cried out in between sobs and shut her eyes, too frightened to utter a word.

Wei Tianyang stepped over Cha Na’s body and approached the girl, reaching out his hand.

Terrified, Tisi scrambled backwards on the floor, attempting to rise and flee, but her body wouldn’t cooperate. She had witnessed a murder for the first time in her life, and the excessively gruesome scene left her unable to recover from the intense shock.

"You’re here to interview me, right? If so, maybe we should talk in my room." Wei Tianyang suggested.

"No, no, no... no, no... this isn’t real... this can’t be..." Tisi stammered incoherently.

"Don’t get too excited," said Wei Tianyang, smiling with a mouth full of serrated teeth.

At that moment, Kui Kui Ge emerged from another elevator and hurried to Wei Tianyang’s side.

"I apologize... for my negligence. I originally thought that building wouldn’t be so conspicuous," Kui Kui Ge said, kneeling on one knee respectfully.

"How many times have I said there’s no need for kneeling?" Wei Tianyang stated.

Kui Kui Ge stood up, pulled out a handgun from within his coat, and fitted it with a silencer.

Tisi, tears streaming down, smudged her eyeshadow, leaving two black trails running down her cheeks.

Wei Tianyang pressed down on Kui Kui Ge’s hand and said, "Bring me the cat."

Kui Kui Ge nodded, reholstered his pistol, went into the room, picked up the dead cat from the ground, and turned back around.

By now, Cha Na had been lying on the ground for a while, feeling as if his life was truly slipping away, as all light and air receded from his grasp.

But Wei Tianyang still picked him up off the ground.

"Kui Kui Ge, take this girl to my room and get her a cup of coffee. I’ll be there shortly," Wei Tianyang commanded.

"As you wish, my lord," Kui Kui Ge nodded.

He grabbed Tisi from the ground, not caring whether she consented, and dragged her to Wei Tianyang’s room.

Cha Na, panting heavily, even though he was physically recovering, psychological trauma was not so easily erased. He wasn’t tired but nevertheless instinctively gasped for air, feeling completely disoriented as he leaned against the door frame.

"Let’s try again. This time I will target your lungs. Suffocation is very painful, so you better not let me succeed," Wei Tianyang said coldly.

Cha Na turned and entered the room, gripping the dagger tightly, his mind whirling with countless thoughts on how to attack next.

Wei Tianyang turned his gaze to the wall, his sight piercing through it, observing Kui Kui Ge preparing coffee. The girl sat upright and formal at the table, while Yaha and Baphomet were absorbed in watching cartoons, unconcerned. Zhao Ling lay under the window, her eyes void of life as she stared blankly at the sky.
