Chapter 364: Chapter 362: Liao Jue Zi

Zhao Ling lay on the ground, with the Inner Guard holding down her left hand, his knee pressing on her upper abdomen, causing waves of nausea.

The next moment, she backhandedly jammed the electric baton onto the man’s neck, and after a series of electric shocks, the man frothed at the mouth, trembling nonstop.

Zhao Ling pushed him aside, then three electric batons attacked her cheeks and torso.

She reached out with her right hand to block, feeling a numbing and burning pain shooting up her forearm to her neck. Zhao Ling tumbled backward, rolling over, only to be kicked in the chest as she got up and fell back to the ground again.

"You, go to the back," ordered the Inner Guard.

The three Inner Guards, not holding anything back and disregarding any technique, pounced on her like lions hunting a rabbit.

Her long hair was grabbed from behind, dragged over two meters, then a fierce foot stomped on her upper abdomen.

Zhao Ling flipped over, kicking away the Inner Guard in front of her, and brandished the electric baton, driving back the Inner Guard behind her. As she turned over, she felt heat in her throat, and her undigested breakfast vomited out.

Her eyes reddening, she quickly stood up, turned around, tensed her waist and abdomen, and blocked the swinging electric baton with her left arm. Enduring the electric shock, she delivered a chopping strike on the Inner Guard’s head followed by an elbow strike that crushed his ribs. With her left knee following through, the force was so great it was as if embedding her knee into the Inner Guard’s abdomen.

That Inner Guard staggered back five steps, the electric baton still in motion, but then he frowned, threw up on the ground, and ended up kneeling on one knee.

The next second, Zhao Ling’s thigh was kicked from behind; she stumbled and collapsed forward. Turning around, she saw the Inner Guards she had previously knocked unconscious were recovering and approaching her.

She stood up, and four electric batons simultaneously struck at her upper body. After blocking twice with her left arm, she completely lost sensation in it, and her shoulders were pinned down by two electric batons as the electric current surged into her flesh.

"Ah ah!!!!!" She screamed in anger and pain, clenching her teeth, her expression ferocious.

"She’s almost done for," the Inner Guards signaled each other with their eyes.

Zhao Ling stepped back, her electric baton now out of her hand, her left arm hanging limply at her side, her body drenched in sweat, glaring furiously at the traitors before her.

The Inner Guards who had fallen began to slowly get up, six men slowly surrounding Zhao Ling, readying themselves.

In an instant, everyone rushed at her at once.

Zhao Ling stepped forward and executed a side kick, sending an Inner Guard flying six or seven meters away with a heavy and forceful kick. Without retracting her leg, she twisted her body using her powerful waist and abdominal strength, delivering a sweeping blow with the speed of lightning to the Inner Guard next to her.

The next second, her body was hit by several sticks, the electric shocks stimulating her muscles, gradually causing her body to numb and weaken. Summing up her energy, she lunged forward, wrapping her arms around an Inner Guard to break through the encirclement while three electric batons continuously shocked her waist.

Zhao Ling was thrown off by the Inner Guard; she lay sprawling on the ground, propping herself up on her elbows, her right inner thigh soaked. Before she could turn around, she saw a black shadow assaulting her from the right. Glancing to the right, she was hit by the Inner Guard with a whip kick directly to her temple.

Suddenly, all sound, touch, and smell seemed to leave her. She watched as the floor rushed up to meet her, her forehead banging against it, her right arm limp at the tip of the pencil.

She struggled with all her might to control her body, wanting to get up, but before she could, the Inner Guard kicked her cheek, and a warm flow surged from her nose, blood splashing onto the floor in front of her.

Then, they delivered several more kicks to her abdomen, as if venting their anger. Zhao Ling groaned and vomited again, then felt someone grab her hair, dragging her deeper into the room.

She reached out to grab the arms of whoever was beside her, and the Inner Guard walking next to her stomped hard on her chest. She struggled to breathe but did not let go of the arm.

The Inner Guards threw her into a corner against the wall. Next, they spread her arms and legs apart as one of the guards pressed down on her thighs with his knee, kneeling on top of her.

"Crush her liver."

The guards pinned her to the ground firmly and punched violently towards her liver. Zhao Ling’s eyes reddened with indignation as she twisted unwillingly, held down tightly. The pain in her abdomen was unbearable, and she let out a faint moan, as blood seeped from her lips.

The Heavenly Emperor stood on the open-air balcony, looking up at the golden eaves of Lingxiao Palace, murmuring to himself, "It will be over soon, quieting down. They must be dealing with the aftermath by now."

Shadow sat alone on a wooden bench nearby, taking off his mask and adjusting his hair.

The Heavenly Emperor turned back, looked at Shadow, and smiled, "Your sect’s skills are indeed commendable; you are indistinguishable from Zhao Ling."

"Do you like the current me more, or did you prefer the former me?" Shadow asked.

"I’ve always liked you. You didn’t have to die. Once Wei Tianyang is killed, there will be a turning point," the Heavenly Emperor smiled.

He glanced at the black goat beside him and continued, "You will soon become the Emperor. Take the chance to get close to her pet goat now, to avoid exposing any flaws. The intelligence from the sect was not detailed enough—they missed her pet."

"This goat should remember Zhao Ling’s scent; I find it very dangerous..." Shadow said.

"We will deal with it later. For now, make it remember your scent. Besides, goats are not like cats or dogs; their intelligence should be quite low," said the Heavenly Emperor.

Shadow smiled, crouched in front of the black goat, and gently stroked its horns and fluffy body.

"Ah, although you won’t live long either, let’s still be on good terms for now," Shadow said with a laugh.

The Heavenly Emperor stood behind the black goat, overlooking the buildings and streets of Fengrao City, and he couldn’t help but sigh, "To command such a magnificent view, to become the Emperor of this country, is indeed great fortune. But... it all comes to an end. The sect will soon take over here... and we will... become..."

He felt something kick him. His body flew up, sailing over the red railing. The world spun around him—now the sky, now the vertigo-inducing streets, and then the outer walls of Lingxiao Palace.

It took him a few seconds to comprehend what was happening. The sensation of falling felt so unreal, yet he verified one thing as the rooftop grew farther away from him.

He was falling from a building.

The black goat had kicked him down??

The Heavenly Emperor’s eyes were still flashing with light, but his superpower couldn’t save him. In such a desperate situation, he was no different from an ordinary person.

Fear, unwillingness, resentment, he even felt an urge to laugh. The Heavenly Emperor couldn’t accept his predicament and ending. He wanted to pull out his phone and call the sect for support... but the next second, all he could hear was his own voice screaming.

"AAAAAAHHH!!!"

Twelve seconds later, the Heavenly Emperor crashed onto the asphalt road. His body bounced twelve centimeters high, slid six meters away, and slammed into a greenbelt guardrail. The impact shattered his bones and muscles, his skull fractured, his spine broke, and his eyeballs ejected from their sockets,

Shadow watched with her own eyes as the black goat reared up and kicked the Heavenly Emperor down. Anger rose within her sorrow; the unexpected twist left her at a loss.

The next second, a loud crash came from the top floor of Lingxiao Palace—the glass shattered, and a black dragon soared into the clouds.
