I Am Extraordinary Alone
Chapter 303 - 301: Black Sheep Giant

Chapter 303: Chapter 301: Black Sheep Giant

Having alternated between sitting, standing, and crawling, Wei Tianyang had already approached the black mountain range. The once towering, steep mountains, though not reduced to the size of a dirt slope by his current stature, no longer possessed their majestic presence.

Behind Wei Tianyang trailed a destruction tens of kilometers long, where buildings along the way had been knocked down, roads destroyed, and river embankments breached, causing waters to flood into the city.

The immense body of Zero-Nine-One alone was a disaster at the scale of humans just in its movement.

In sight, the black, rotting flesh sprawled on the southern side of the mountain chain had already far exceeded Leona’s initial measurements.

It was massively large, its length comparable to Zero-Nine-One standing upright. It was only upon closer inspection that one could see the small, winged insects densely covering the black flesh, crawling around and intermittently vibrating their wings, creating a buzzing sound.

"Smash my..."

The voice of the fallen flesh conveyed its thoughts directly into Wei Tianyang’s mind, communicating with him.

"Are you the occupant, or the occupied?" the fallen flesh continued to ask.

Wei Tianyang felt his mind assaulted by a force; when this thing communicated information, he felt as if someone had laid him on a chopping board and hacked fiercely at his face.

This mental onslaught was too strong. Wei Tianyang instinctively reached out with his right hand to touch his head but only grasped the fuzzy head of an insect.

"Damn... that’s intense," he thought to himself.

"You are not It. You occupy that..." the fallen flesh transmitted its message.

It seemed that both sides could hear each other’s thoughts—perhaps, psychic communication was the most fundamental form of interaction among the Heavenly Falling Objects?

Wei Tianyang, bracing against the tremendous mental pressure, transmitted his own thoughts to the fallen flesh: "Where do you come from?! Why did you fall to Earth?"

"It is of no concern to you," the fallen flesh responded.

Following this response, something within the black flesh suddenly bulged, and beneath its pitch-black epidermis, something was squirming.

The small bugs clinging to the black flesh fluttered their wings and took to the air, forming a hovering shield. A few dozen insects landed on the nearby ground, giving Wei Tianyang a reference point, and he realized their enormous size—each as large as a commercial airliner!

"Smashed my... come, let us smash each other again..."

The heart voice of the fallen flesh conveyed its message.

Gray-brown goat horns broke through the flesh, from which wounds black pus flowed like black lava, rolling down the mountainside, corroding a black trench wherever it touched.

Perhaps this entity was belligerent by nature, or maybe it and Zero-Nine-One belonged to opposing factions at enmity with one another. From the information conveyed by the fallen flesh, it was clear there had been a battle between them, which resulted in Zero-Nine-One’s condition of missing arms, legs, and head, and ultimately its fall to Earth.

But the fallen flesh had not fared any better, having been reduced to a shapeless mass of decay, corrupting the entire population of the city after landing in the Prussia Democratic Republic.

Even so, it wanted to fight again; it must have held a blood feud with Zero-Nine-One.

"Although I lack arms, legs, and a head, it has nothing... The advantage is mine," Wei Tianyang silently considered.

He immediately stood up, knelt on his left leg, and stretched his right hand forward, swiftly closing the distance. The movement speed of the black flesh was as slow as a snail’s, only able to mount an attack with its hundred thousand insects.

The insects acted with reckless abandon, all taking flight at once. Compared to Zero-Nine-One, they were merely oversized flies, but compared to humans, they were airliners.

Now, these "airliners" were all spraying some kind of irritating liquid at Wei Tianyang, while also flying onto the moth’s body to start nibbling at its wings.

Wei Tianyang broke through the dark curtain formed by the insects and threw a punch at the black flesh on the mountainside.

At that moment, a gray hand covered in black hair burst through the black flesh, spread its palm, and engulfed Zero-Nine-One’s fist.

"What is this thing!" Wei Tianyang exclaimed in shock.

The next second, the black flesh exploded completely, and a half-human, half-goat giant emerged from within.

It slid down the mountainside in a reclining posture, its left hand tightly gripping Zero-Nine-One’s right fist, and its right hand bracing against the ground to stabilize its posture. Before Wei Tianyang could react, the Black Sheep Giant twisted its body, and a huge black hoof kicked heavily towards Zero-Nine-One’s abdomen.

That kick, like a pile driver weighing hundreds of thousands of tons, punctured two bloody holes in Zero-Nine-One’s abdomen. Black flesh and blood splattered, and the broken half of its spine pierced through the flesh on its back, poking out a long portion.

Wei Tianyang felt the pain. At that moment, the roots of the moth’s wings were also bitten off by tens of thousands of black insects. With a Kacha sound, the wings fell to the ground.

Wei Tianyang didn’t want the moth to suffer further injuries, so he shifted it into objective reality and released it.

However, those black insects also moved into objective reality together and dragged the moth back out.

"Become food, and feed my kin."

An information from the Black Sheep Giant arrived; it grabbed Zero-Nine-One by the thigh, dragging its right arm, and lifted Wei Tianyang over its head.

Being hoisted by another being nearly as massive as himself, Wei Tianyang felt he had reached the clouds.

Then, he plummeted down violently, his back punctured by the pair of goat horns, creating two large holes.

The Black Sheep Giant let out a terrifying scream, a sound that could not be described with language or writing, yet it made the listeners’ livers and guts split. The ominous sound waves trembled the air, and the windows of surrounding buildings shattered as well.

It withdrew its horns from Zero-Nine-One’s body as if flaunting its trophy of victory, then holding it, it moved slowly, taking several dozen steps till it reached the city center.

Wei Tianyang was unable to move at this point, Zero-Nine-One’s spine was broken, the moth was gnawed apart by black insects leaving a stream of fluids and its large eyes gouged out, Wei Tianyang fell into darkness.

The Black Sheep Giant hurled Zero-Nine-One violently into a heap of zombies.

Wei Tianyang crashed to the ground, crushing many zombies, but the Black Sheep Giant was indifferent because more zombies were converging on him.

Only now did he understand why all the zombies had the face of a goat.

Under the influence of the fallen flesh, they had been converted into kin of the black goat people.

In an unknown time and space, it had fought a tremendous battle with Zero-Nine-One and recovered itself in this way.

Zero-Nine-One was not so lucky; perhaps it still retained its self when it fell, but after landing, it fell into a coma, and later, it was locked by Tiantai Pharmaceutical in a huge iron sphere at the containment facility.

If Zero-Nine-One had regained consciousness as rapidly as the Black Sheep Giant after falling, perhaps it too could gradually recover by cultivating its own kin, and Chicken Snake Country would have suffered the same tragedy... but who knows what Zero-Nine-One originally looked like? What would its kin look like?
