I Am Extraordinary Alone
Chapter 300 - 298 Misdeed

Chapter 300: Chapter 298 Misdeed

Wei Tianyang led Yaha downstairs, with two Inner Guards escorting a female prisoner in front of them. Zhao Ling had already arranged everything, pushing back her own affairs to follow behind Wei Tianyang.

Upon seeing the Emperor and Wei Tianyang and realizing her own situation, the female prisoner thought her fate might take a turn, her mind flooded with various thoughts.

Wei Tianyang set aside his concerns, focusing solely on healing Yaha. As for the crimes committed by the woman and her death sentence, he couldn’t bother to inquire further.

A group of nine arrived at a clearing in the woods just outside the courtyard. Three Inner Guards had already loaded their pistols and fitted them with silencers.

The female prisoner’s hands were bound by a long iron chain, the other end wrapped around a nearby tree. Two Inner Guards watched the chain on the tree while the others blocked the prisoner’s escape routes.

Upon seeing this, the female prisoner dismissed her unrealistic fantasies.

Wei Tianyang appeared somber, leading Yaha toward her.

"What are you going to do?! Are you using me for an experiment?!" the female prisoner yelled furiously.

Wei Tianyang ignored her, standing in front of her and staring at her.

"I refuse to accept this! Why should I be executed?! I was forced too! You only bully honest people! I refuse!" she screamed at Wei Tianyang.

While shouting, she began to cry, her emotions gradually collapsing.

Wei Tianyang grabbed her arm, but she immediately knelt down.

"Wuu wuu wuu... I didn’t want to starve my husband... but caring for a disabled person is too painful... I don’t want to die..." the woman cried, kneeling at Wei Tianyang’s feet.

Zhao Ling asked, "Does she need to be awake?"

Wei Tianyang recalled that Yaha’s ability could transfer wounds to a corpse...

Never mind, they had brought her here, no need for further discussion.

"Yaha... come here," Wei Tianyang said.

Yaha looked terrified. The female prisoner’s reaction had frightened her, making her hesitant to approach.

"Yaha! Come here quickly," Wei Tianyang gestured to her.

"Wuu wuu wuu!! Ahhh!!! I don’t want to die!! I don’t want to die!!!" the female prisoner screamed, completely losing control.

Yaha shook her head and turned to run away.

"Yaha!!" Wei Tianyang roared.

Zhao Ling stepped forward, grabbed Yaha’s arm, and held her.

"He wants to help you, don’t give him trouble!" Zhao Ling said.

Wei Tianyang was also agitated. Clenching his teeth, he said, "Bring Yaha here."

Zhao Ling then dragged Yaha to Wei Tianyang’s side, with Yaha still struggling in Zhao Ling’s arms.

"It will be over soon! Yaha... this is all for you!" Wei Tianyang said, pressing his left hand on Yaha’s chest.

He activated his powers, fixating his eyes on Yaha’s wrists.

At the heart, energy surged, a certain exchange completed within him, and passed to the two people he was touching...

On Yaha’s previously bare wrists, a pair of pale, delicate hands suddenly appeared.

Zhao Ling saw the effect of this power but did not appear overly surprised.

Meanwhile, the female prisoner’s initially intact hands turned into bare wrists.

"My hands!!! Where are my hands!!!" the female prisoner cried in terror.

She screamed while trying to flee Wei Tianyang, falling to the ground as mud clung her hair to her face.

"Yaha! Yaha!?" Wei Tianyang released the female prisoner, grabbed Yaha’s shoulders, and hurriedly checked her condition.

Yaha quieted down temporarily, looking bewildered at her own hands, her mind filled with confusion.

Wei Tianyang heard Yaha’s inner voice.

[What is this?]

Yaha didn’t recognize her own hands...

Her memory only retained three years in Yin Country, and since then, she had been without hands... naturally, she didn’t know what hands were...

"Yaha..." Wei Tianyang didn’t know what to say, Yaha still hadn’t come back.

He had healed her physical incompleteness, but the gaps in her memory and personality remained unbridged.

"Damn it..." Wei Tianyang shook his head in disappointment.

Zhao Ling said, "Is this all you wanted?"

She didn’t finish her sentence, but Wei Tianyang knew that she didn’t think highly of the ability to transfer injuries and illness.

After all, modern medicine had advanced, and such diseases didn’t require the superpower of the Heavenly Falling Objects to solve. Derived research had already solved many stubborn diseases, and organ and limb transplants were well developed.

"No... it’s not like that." Wei Tianyang shook his head.

"She’s of no use now, right?" Zhao Ling looked at the female death row inmate.

She was still crawling in the mud, delusionally trying to break the iron chains and escape.

Wei Tianyang nodded.

Zhao Ling then signaled to the Inner Guard beside her, and then, a gunshot...

The Inner Guard took out a prepared body bag from the back of the SUV, placed the female death row inmate inside it, and then drove away.

Only Zhao Ling, Wei Tianyang, and Yaha were left in the empty space.

"I think she’s not going to recover, just treat her as a mascot and don’t think too much about it," Zhao Ling said.

Wei Tianyang sighed. He took out his phone to check it; Helena Mina had sent him a message saying that the flight was ready and it was on its way to the Yin Country.

"I’ve got to go, Zhao Ling, take good care of her," Wei Tianyang said.

At half past seven in the evening.

Wei Tianyang arrived at Fengrao International Airport by helicopter, then transferred to a United Council’s jet to fly to the Western Alliance, within the territories of the Prussia Democratic Republic.

After getting off the plane, he promptly teleported, as promised, to the military camp outside the quarantine area, using coordinates sent by Leona.

After stepping out from the subjective reality, everything here made him feel like he was back in Libitelli. However, by comparison, this military camp was very rudimentary, without walls, only sandbags and barricades constructing the defensive lines, four tanks positioned on the hill slopes, and mortar positions on the high ground.

Wei Tianyang entered the camp, where a tall officer approached to meet him.

"I’m Von Straus, the highest commander here. Mr. Wei, we’ve been waiting for you," Von Straus reached out his hand toward Wei Tianyang.

"Do you have the Superpower Special Forces here?" Wei Tianyang asked straightforwardly.

"We used to have them, but they were withdrawn later. They were useless, damned if I know why," Von Straus said.

"I want all your men to withdraw," Wei Tianyang said.

"What?!" Von Straus was taken aback.

"The President told me that conventional weapons are useless, so if you stay here, there will only be more casualties," Wei Tianyang said.

"No, we cannot withdraw," Von Straus shook his head.

"What if those things swarm over..." Wei Tianyang said.

"We can buy some time," Von Straus said.

Von Straus was tall and had short blond hair. He featured a Prussian’s typical prominent nose and narrow eyes, along with a protruding smooth forehead. He spoke loudly and with short, powerful phrases that were reassuring.

"You don’t need to buy any time, and besides... I fear causing you harm. You don’t have my intelligence, do you?" Wei Tianyang said.

Von Straus shook his head, "You are top secret, I’m not privy to that."

"Where’s my gear?" Wei Tianyang said.

Von Straus nodded and briskly led him across the camp to a tent, where, on a foldable table, lay an aluminum case.

Wei Tianyang stepped forward and opened it, finding inside a one-piece folding tight-fitting combat suit.

The suit was pitch black and felt rubbery to the touch.

"There must have been some mistake... There can’t be just one suit..." Von Straus said awkwardly.

"No, this is enough," Wei Tianyang said.

Weapons were meaningless. Leona had already emailed him about the special properties of this suit. It had a degree of high-temperature tolerance and combustion protection, could conceal the wearer’s body heat, and was resistant to electric currents and corrosive liquids. It could also maintain the wearer’s body temperature in temperatures as low as negative 20 degrees Celsius.

That was sufficient.

"How far are we from the infected area?" Wei Tianyang asked.

"27 kilometers," Von Straus said.

"Get your people to evacuate immediately. Leave the rest to me," Wei Tianyang said.
