Chiharu nodded.

Saying this, she struggled to sit up, placing the briefcase flat on the bed. She pressed a fingerprint sensor on the briefcase that prompted an iris recognition camera to pop out. Chiharu scanned her iris and with a click, the briefcase unlatched.

Wei Tianyang watched her open the briefcase and was immediately hit with a foul smell that made him wrinkle his nose.

"Damn, that stinks... what is it?" Wei Tianyang said.

Chiharu turned the briefcase around for him to see. Inside laid a section of blackened spine, wrapped in a special transparent seal within a thick liquid.

"This is Zoe’s spine... I personally extracted it," Chiharu said.
