Lin Yanqing drove the rented electric car with Wei Tianyang and Yaha to the high-speed train station located at the border between the small town and Yunzhou City, a vast open space.

After Wei Tianyang got out of the car, he looked at the enormous white station building that resembled six irregular slabs of stone and glass stacked together. The rumbling and whistling of the high-speed train speeding on the tracks came from afar, the blue-green artificial forest planted next to the station swayed with the cold wind, and the warm orange light that shone through the glass windows under the grey sky brought a surge of warmth to the heart.

He suppressed the excitement and joy in his heart, recalling that a few months ago, he had sat in Yaha’s blue car, gazing through the window at the outline of Yunzhou City. Now, not only had he stepped into the territory of Yin Country, but he was also about to take a high-speed train to the capital.

"Alright, you can board now!" the man clapped his hands.

Although he was smiling, the dejected look was unmistakable. It seemed as though the man had made a huge sacrifice just to get them on the train.
