The next morning, Wei Tianyang got out of bed, woke up Yaha, and led her to the sink. Using two fingers, he pried open her lips, squeezed toothpaste onto the brush, and placed it in her mouth.

Yaha, much like a five-year-old child, playfully bit his index and middle fingers.

"Don’t swallow the toothpaste!" Wei Tianyang, standing behind her and facing the mirror, struggled to help her brush her teeth.

Yaha, in her early twenties and about the same height as Wei Tianyang, appeared frosty and unapproachable when not smiling, almost like his older sister. However, her current demeanor, both naïve like a five-year-old and mischievously flirtatious, overwhelmed Wei Tianyang.

After finally managing to brush her teeth, Wei Tianyang lost his patience. He grabbed a towel, soaked it in hot water, and vigorously rubbed her face, causing Yaha to burst into loud tears.

"Wahhh! It’s hot! Hot!!!" Yaha cried out, her voice so loud that it embarrassed Wei Tianyang.

At that moment, Lin Yanqing pushed the door open and stood at the bathroom entrance watching them.

"I locked the door..." Wei Tianyang said.

"I have a key. Don’t be surprised. Yin Country can’t officially process your entry, but we are on our turf, and many legal clauses bend around you. However, I must ensure 24-hour surveillance until we reach Fengrao City," Lin Yanqing explained.

"This kind of surveillance... should consider our privacy a bit, right?" Wei Tianyang said.

"I heard her yelling and thought you were doing something to her..." Lin Yanqing said.

Seeing Wei Tianyang’s confused expression, she added, "You’re also sixteen. It’s quite normal for a young lad of your age, alone with a woman, to find it hard to restrain himself."

Wei Tianyang frowned and said, "Yaha doesn’t really count as a woman, does she?"

Glancing at Wei Tianyang and Yaha, she shook her head gently and then left the room.

Meanwhile, at 10 pm the previous night, three thousand feet in the air, Li Songyan was on a plane of the United Council, crossing Yin Country’s airspace en route to the Western Soil headquarters of the United Council.

After boarding, Li Songyan discovered that the chairperson of the United Council, Helena Mina, was waiting for him in the VIP room. Having served in the military for ten years and the United Council for five, he had never encountered such high-level officialdom.

"Have a seat, make yourself comfortable," Helena Mina said as she motioned for the flight attendant to pour him a cup of coffee.

This woman, just past forty but dressed and made up to look in her early thirties, had her long hair styled up at the back of her head and wore frameless glasses. A playful mole was visible under her right eye. Dressed in a fitting grey-black women’s trouser suit, she exuded the calm and cunning of an experienced politician.

"Chairperson," Li Songyan saluted, then sat down properly across from her.

As he watched her methodically savor her coffee, Li Songyan said, "Wei Tianyang... has been taken by Yin Country’s Superpower Special Forces."

"I know. It was unavoidable. After all, Kongse is too close to Yin Country for us to intercept him right under their noses, and Wei Tianyang might not have been willing," Helena Mina said.

"I had an agreement with him; I know what that boy is chasing after in his heart," Li Songyan said.

Helena Mina shook her head, "He’s only 16 years old."

The plane flew smoothly, and outside the cabin window, the sea of clouds drenched in moonlight was beautiful yet silent.

"Children of this age are both unrealistic and cynical. They neither understand nor want to understand the laws of how the world works. Such kids, especially those like Wei Tianyang who come from humble beginnings, typically end up achieving nothing significant in adulthood. After spending half their lives in the service industry, earning meager salaries, they harbor resentment toward the country, and most often die in obscurity," Helena Mina said.

Li Songyan silently nodded.

"Therefore, don’t harbor unrealistic fantasies about him. I suspect that after spending a few days in Yin Country enjoying the good life, those 16 years of resentment and anger might just vanish without a trace," Helena Mina said.

"I feel Wei Tianyang is different from other kids...," Li Songyan insisted.

"Different?" Helena Mina smiled as she looked at Li Songyan.

She pushed her glasses up on the bridge of her nose.

"Of course, he’s different. A poor boy, lowly to the point of being in the mud, now controls a power against the heavens. That’s how he’s different from the others," Helena Mina said.

"Just look at what he did in Chicken Snake Country. Including various forces and innocent civilians, the number of people he has directly or indirectly killed exceeds a million. "Who does he belong to now? He belongs to himself. He is free, and even though he’s currently within the Emperor of Dayin’s territory, nothing is set in stone, the deal not yet sealed, so all forces still have a chance."

"Tiantai Pharmaceutical can’t handle such overwhelming riches—it’s just a pharmaceutical corporation formed by funding from a few small countries in the East Continent Islands. Not to mention those countries behind it, what right or capability do they have to possess a strategic force capable of annihilating a city in an instant? Are they worthy?"

"I get it! If he joins any country, some will resent it, but if he joins us, that concern disappears!" Li Songyan laughed.

And Wei Tianyang, as a person, could be used for the benefit of all humanity, being deployed in fields like counter-terrorism and peacekeeping, rather than serving as a blade for some extreme major nation," Helena Mina said.

As she spoke, she looked out the cabin window and murmured to herself, "This world is already chaotic enough."
