Suizi had just reached for the light cord when she heard a massive explosion.

The noise startled Yu Jingting awake from the bed.

"What’s the matter?" Yu Jingting asked Suizi, his reaction much faster than hers, immediately sensing something was wrong.

"Damn, why is there so much smoke?"

Only then did Suizi realize that what had been clouding her vision was smoke drifting in from the outside.

"Is it on fire?" Suizi asked in a panic.

The couple was on the second floor, which had many rooms, and theirs was at the very end.

"The main entrance is probably no good to get out."

Suizi scrambled to put clothes on her body. The two of them had been quite active before bed and were without clothes on.

Fire engines had already arrived, and firefighters came over to instruct Suizi to evacuate. The first floor was on fire, making the place where Suizi stood unsafe.
