I am chasing a rough man in the 80s -
Chapter 510: The Provocative Little Baby
Chapter 510: Chapter 510: The Provocative Little Baby
The boy and girl twins are already eight months old and can now crawl.
Luoluo is very active, and since mastering the skill of crawling, she is hardly ever idle. Right now, grandma is stewing meat in the courtyard, and she is peering at it through the window, occasionally smacking the glass with her tiny hands.
She even attempts to lean on the windowsill and take a couple of steps."
Suizi, afraid of her falling and hurting herself, carefully observes from the side.
The home’s cement window sill has already been wrapped in sponge cloth by Suizi to avoid sharp edges, but with a child so young, caution and close supervision is necessary, requiring full concentration.
Meanwhile, Bobo sits on the bed, peacefully drinking milk from his bottle; this child, as long as he has something to eat, stays quiet for a long time.
Jin Wa stands by Suizi’s side. Unlike the twins, who have distinct personalities, he simply seems like any other child.
However, calling him a quiet boy doesn’t seem entirely accurate either."
Suizi once saw Jin Wa snatch some fruit puree from Luoluo. He had his own but instead liked taking others’... he had something of a streak of rogue in him.
Unfortunately for him, he crossed paths with the Yu family’s twins.
At first, Luoluo thought Jin Wa was just playing with her, and since she didn’t like fruit puree, she just watched him take hers with a beaming smile.
However, not only did Jin Wa take her puree, he also took her rubber elephant toy, which made Luoluo angry.
This little elephant, whose only rival in Luoluo’s heart was her dad, was much more important than mere fruit puree, and taking it provoked Luoluo’s rage far more easily.
Then Jin Wa was bitten by Luoluo.
At the time, Suizi was not home. From Suizi’s mom’s description, Luoluo bit Jin Wa’s hand without letting go, and his crying voice echoed throughout the house.
In the end, Luoluo took back her elephant but was lightly slatted twice over her cotton pants by Grandma for biting. According to the witness, Tiegen, the force used was so gentle it probably couldn’t even kill a mosquito.
Luoluo thought that Grandma was playing with her, so she chuckled. Wang Cuihua couldn’t bring herself to punish her more severely, only comforting herself with the fact that she was still just a child and wouldn’t comprehend any form of discipline.
Unable to outmaneuver Luoluo, Jin Wa’s rogue behavior extended towards Bobo.
As a notorious chunky boy in the household, Bobo is usually calm and quiet. He grows quietly like a spring chicken, giving the impression of being genuinely affable and honest.
Bobo had his favorite baby bottle from which he enjoyed his powdered milk every day. He loved it so much that when Suizi watched her son drinking milk, she got feelings as if he was drinking heavenly nectar.
Jin Wa seized the opportunity when the adults were out preparing food and stole Bobo’s bottle.
Compared to his sister, who was pillaged twice before reacting, Bobo was much quicker, gripping Jin Wa’s ear as soon as he took his bottle.
Jin Wa was likely a year older than the twins (later confirmed to be one and a half years older), and should have had the advantage over such small children who couldn’t yet walk. However, he did not.
By stealing Bobo’s bottle, he ignited Bobo’s rage. Bobo first gripped, then bit, and finally forcefully rammed head-first into Jin Wa.
When Wang Cuihua and Yu Jingting rushed in upon hearing Jin Wa’s cries, they saw Bobo delivering the final blow to Jin Wa.
Thunk! A loud noise.
Of course, it was a strike that injured both parties.
They both had red marks on their heads.
In Wang Cuihua’s words, she had never seen her grandson get angry. Since birth, Bobo’s emotions had always been stable, and this was his first outburst of anger.
Jin Wa cried heart-wrenchingly, whether it was due to actual pain or his ego being wounded, we will never know.
However, seeing his son explode in anger gave Yu Jingting a large bout of laughter.
He was very satisfied with the performances of his children. He admired their spirits of retaliation upon being wronged, which well accorded with their family motto.
Jin Wa suffered from the encounter with the twins and gradually learned to behave after being punished by them every time he attempted to snatch anything.
He dared not mess with the twins at home, especially Bobo, who appeared to be stoutly-built. If he tried to snatch his food, this little guy would truly fight for it.
Every day, Wang Cuihua would take the kids out for sunbathing. Jin Wa, not daring to mess with the twins, would snatch food from other children instead.
The other children, inexperienced with such unreasonableness, would cry in frustration.
Most older children could only communicate in childish babble and could not articulate their complaints to their parents about Jin Wa, so they could only point at Jin Wa and cry.
Wang Cuihua had to apologize profusely for this, causing her great distress.
She went back and vented to Suizi, saying her two grandchildren were really well-behaved when playing outside. Other children really liked them, and she never saw them snatch things or hit others.
Once Jin Wa came, Wang Cuihua had to apologize constantly. She could not understand why Jin Wa had to snatch everything. It seemed as if not doing so made him feel uncomfortable.
Although it wasn’t appropriate to label a child under three years old, Suizi noticed that Jin Wa was the kind who only picked on those weaker than him. He was very dominant with those he could bully, but was submissive when facing someone stronger.
He never dared to act tough in front of Yu Shuisheng and Yu Jingting and was only a bit timid with the twins, but once he was outside, upon seeing other children, his mischievous hands would start moving.
He even scratched the face of a ten-month-old girl living in the front street, leaving a deep mark with his fingernail, which made her grandmother so angry that she came to the Yu family to lodge a complaint.
Even though Wang Cuihua was usually tough and shrewd, in this obviously wrong situation, she could only apologize repeatedly.
Before this, Suizi only knew that her own children were good. Now, comparing them with Jin Wa, the difference was clear. Suizi liked her own children even more.
It’s said that you can tell a child’s character by the age of three. Jin Wa’s aggressive and domineering personality revealed the cutthroat competition in the world of kids to Suizi.
There were only four days left before the New Year. Thinking that Jin Wa’s family would be worried about him, and seeing no progress from Liao Yong, Suizi decided that the best way to solve the problem was to return to the Shen family.
She was supposed to go with Yu Jingting, but as soon as he heard the name Shen Liangyin, he ran faster than a rabbit, busily finding an excuse about needing to go to the factory to play poker.
Rather than see Shen Liangyin, he would rather gamble. Suizi couldn’t help but smile and shake her head. These old romances from the past caused such trauma that they left a psychological shadow on him.
With the man running away, Suizi had no choice but to go on her own.
After tidying up Jin Wa a bit and carrying some fruits, she headed straight to the Shen household.
Suizi contemplated carefully on the way about the things she would say when she saw Shen Liangyin.
No matter how hard it would be to get Shen Liangyin to talk, Suizi decided she had to pry open her mouth and find out about Jin Wa’s past."
But when she actually arrived at Shen’s house, she found that all the speeches she had prepared were useless.
Plans can’t keep up with changes.
Suizi, following the address she was given, came to the door of the Shen’s house and knocked for a long time, but no one opened the door.
Suizi could only push open the gate and walk into the courtyard.
"Is anyone there - Ah!!!"
