Wang Cuihua slapped Suizi’s hand, and Suizi shrank back in pain, looking at Wang Cuihua in a wronged manner, not knowing what she said.

A dispute seemed to have arisen between the two. Suizi reached out for the bag in Wang Cuihua’s hand and was refused. Wang Cuihua turned away into the mall, with Suizi quickly following, and they occasionally turned back to push each other.

"Mother-in-law and daughter-in-law getting along in harmony? Huh," Shen Liangyin scoffed at the descriptions of the old Yu family from the outside world.

A mother-in-law and a daughter-in-law have always been arch-enemies; how could they possibly get along?

She had decided that mothers-in-law and daughters-in-law would always be enemies. Every harmonious mother-in-law and daughter-in-law relationship she saw, Shen Liangyin considered to be pretense, it just seemed so fake.

She guessed that Suizi and Wang Cuihua had a long-standing feud and were only pretending to get along.

"The knife is too blunt, it needs sharpening," he said, then he left the store.

The clerks let out a sigh of relief, glad that he was not there to steal their pork meat.

"Why was that hunky customer smiling foolishly at the pork head?"

"Perhaps something’s wrong with his head, what a waste of a handsome face."

After daydreaming to his heart’s content, Yu Jingting picked up the meat he had bought and headed straight to the mall to find his wife and mother.

Suizi, being quite tall, was easy to spot as soon as he entered the mall.

She and Wang Cuihua were chit-chatting with Wang Hui at a fabric stall.

Quick-eyed Suizi spotted Yu Jingting right away, greeted him with a bright smile, and waved her hand.

Wang Hui jokingly commented from the side,

"You two are like an old married couple; why do you act like you’ve just met?"

Suizi blushed at her comment.

"Wang, you just love to tease me. I’m just happy...happy that I have someone to help carry my things."

Wang Hui smiled and didn’t bother to refute her.

"What have you been talking about?" Yu Jingting asked.

"We were just chatting about your wife. She already has two children yet still gets scared so easily," Wang Cuihua said with a laugh, "Just now, she was terrified when two snow fleas landed on her."

Suizi felt a bit embarrassed. She was truly terrified of all bugs.

During winter, most insects hibernate and are rarely seen. She couldn’t figure out how she had managed to get two snow fleas crawling on her hand of all things.

Snow fleas are small bugs that can hop around in the snow, but they are generally rare to come across, so it was strange.

If Wang Cuihua hadn’t quickly swatted the bug away for Suizi, Suizi would still be jumping around.

"Seeing Suizi usually so composed, I didn’t expect her to be afraid of little bugs." Wang Hui said.

If Shen Liangyin heard this scene, he would probably vomit to death.

She thought she had discovered a secret about the Yu family, but it was just the mother and daughter-in-law killing a bug.

Suizi wanted to help her mother-in-law carry a few things, but Wang Cuihua didn’t let her and walked briskly.

"Now we don’t have to fight, Tiegen is here, let him carry everything." Wang Cuihua looked at her son contentedly, "Being such a big fool has some uses."

"Heh, I shouldn’t have come along, let the two of you wasteful women carry your stuff back home on your own."

Even though Yu Jingting complained, he happily took all the bags and willingly became a dedicated bag carrier.

Just as they left the mall, they bumped into Wang Mengmeng who was struggling with her bicycle, standing in the middle of the road, looking despondent.

There was no bike repair shop nearby. If she pushed it over with flat tires, the tires would get some holes from the stones on the road.

"This tire is done. You should just push it directly to a bike repair shop."
