I am chasing a rough man in the 80s -
Chapter 1020: We’re More Professional Than Bandits, Oh
Chapter 1020: Chapter 1020: We’re More Professional Than Bandits, Oh
The motorcycle was kicked over by Yu Jingting.
The two thieves on it were caught off guard and pinned under the bike.
Yu Jingting was truly merciless—he didn’t care if they were hurt or not and just hopped right onto the motorcycle again, and even bounced on it repeatedly.
How could they endure this!
The thieves let out cries like pigs being slaughtered.
As Yu Jingting bounced, he cursed, "Fuck your grandpa! You chase after me, and I kept my cool, but you dare to covet my wife?"
He had only intended to draw the thieves away to keep Suizi safe.
But upon hearing these two scumbags thinking about his wife, that was something he couldn’t tolerate.
The two robbers were used to being bullish and domineering; how could they have encountered such a fierce character before?
One of the robbers felt his leg was fractured and whimpered for mercy, "Mercy, boss—take all our money!"
He shouldn’t have said that; hearing those words, Yu Jingting jumped down again, flattening the motorcycle’s metal with his bounces, luckily his athletic reflexes kept him balanced despite the uneven surface.
"Do you think I’m a highway robber? Who covets your dirty money!"
Yu Jingting continued to curse as he pulled out a sack and bagged the two robbers.
The robbers: ???
This guy isn’t a robber? His gear is even more professional than theirs!
"Are you okay?" Suizi ran over and asked anxiously.
Yu Jingting howled at her.
"You’re embarrassed, right? I told you to lie low—what are you shouting for? Luckily for you, your man here is reliable; if I were like that worthless Zhang Zheng, wouldn’t you have been beaten up?"
With that, he pulled her over and bit her on the mouth, "I’ll bite you, you ungrateful little thing!"
Suizi’s eyes filled with tears from his bite; why was he so fierce—wasn’t she just worried about him?
"I believe in your strength, that’s why I dared to cooperate with you like this. If I were with somebody like Zhang Zheng, who thinks way too highly of himself, could I do this?"
Zhang Zheng, limping over with his underling, was full of question marks—they had intended to come and thank their savior.
But why did the savior seem to be cursing him?
In the pitch dark, Zhang Zheng looked from a distance and saw a man and a woman standing with their backs to them, covered in patches.
Their accents sounded like they were from the North, and strangely familiar?
Zhang Zheng tried hard to recall, searching for information about this benefactor, when he heard the couple say:
"Is Zhang Zheng dead or not? Should we go have a look?"
"Tsk, you little woman—with your body temperature at 36 degrees, how can you say something so chilling? You should be saying, ’Is Zhang Zheng dead or not? If he’s not, let’s dig a hole and bury him alive!’"
Zhang Zheng stepped back in fright; this couple seemed scarier than the robbers.
He couldn’t have gone from a tiger’s den into a wolf’s den, could he?
Zhang Zheng’s underling was also scared stiff; both were injured, and although not hit in vital areas—one with an injured arm and the other a leg—they were both out of fighting condition.
Both of their livers trembled, neither daring to approach.
Yu Jingting turned around, seeing the confused-looking Zhang Zheng under the moonlight, and enthusiastically gave him the middle finger.
"Yo, Zhang Zheng, that dumbass, can still stand. He didn’t die," Yu Jingting said to Suizi.
Suizi nodded, her eyes flashing fiercely.
"Let’s bury him alive," she said.
Zhang Zheng’s legs went weak, and he fainted, collapsing to the ground.
In a spirit of compassion for the weak, Yu Jingting walked over and looked down at him.
"Is it you?" Zhang Zheng finally made out the face of his benefactor in the moonlight.
It was actually Yu Jingting!
"It’s your grandpa I! You’re pretty badly hurt, huh? Come on, let me put some medicine on that for you," Yu Jingting said as he started to undo his pants.
Suizi darted over and blocked him, her face red and ears burning, "What are you doing!"
"Boy’s urine cures a hundred ailments, I’m just going to give him some."
"Which part of you is a freaking boy!" Suizi flustered over trying to cover up, it’s all hers, and she didn’t want anyone to see.
Men included!
Yu Jingting grinned, feeling a bit regretful that he couldn’t thoroughly humiliate Zhang Zheng.
"If you won’t let me use boy’s urine, then I’ll change the prescription—Zhang Zheng, have you ever heard of a miracle cure? It’s where you lick my feet, and the gunshot wound will heal."
"...My brain isn’t flooded with water! What kind of quackery is that!!!" Before today, Zhang Zheng had never encountered someone so brazenly shameless.
"Look at that damaged look on your face, you think I want you to lick my feet? Who knows if you’ve got foot-and-mouth disease!"
"Even if he doesn’t have foot-and-mouth disease, he could have rabies, you definitely can’t let him lick!" Suizi glared at Zhang Zheng fiercely.
Zhang Zheng looked at Suizi in disbelief.
It was one thing for her to dress up like a village girl, but to speak so harshly, too?
The Chen Hansui he remembered wasn’t like this?
Where had the well-bred, cultured young lady gone?
Zhang Zheng had no idea that all the derogatory things he said about Yu Jingting on the train had been remembered by Suizi.
Suizi hated more than anything when someone spoke ill of her man, and she would hold a grudge against whoever did.
Zhang Zheng’s actions, in other words, were like madly dancing in Suizi’s minefield. How could he expect a friendly face?
"Let’s take these two robbers to the Police Station. Running into Zhang Zheng is just bad luck, hetui!" Suizi took a couple of steps, turned around, and spat at Zhang Zheng.
Yu Jingting couldn’t hold back and burst out laughing.
Where on earth did she learn this village women’s saliva-spitting skill?
Seeing how adorable his wife was, Yu Jingting decided not to be too rough with Zhang Zheng, just a light punch or two, just to go through the motions.
Zhang Zheng was heartbroken watching Suizi when suddenly, darkness loomed before his eyes as Yu Jingting’s iron fist made contact.
One punch rewarded him with a swelling bruise; after hitting him, Yu Jingting stepped back to inspect his work carefully.
"It’s not symmetrical, that won’t do," Yu Jingting muttered, raising his hand for another punch.
Zhang Zheng’s lackey was furious, "How could you hit someone? Are you trying to save him or harm him?"
After turning Zhang Zheng into a panda-eyed mess, Yu Jingting felt refreshed and cast a dominant glance at the lackey.
"If you don’t want to die, keep your distance. Push me further, and I’ll beat you up too!"
Having said that, he hopped over Zhang Zheng with a pose of minor harm but maximum insult, still humming a tune of comic opera:
"You say this Zhang Zheng, huh, is poor and scheming and simpleton, can’t even fart with force, now look at me, with valor and might, a true hero~~~~"
Even a dead man would come back to life from his singing!
"What kind of song is that? I’ve never heard it before." Suizi looked at Yu Jingting admiringly, she had followed his cursing lessons for many years, yet she was far from catching up to his cunning.
"It’s like splashing water before a horse, I don’t think I performed well, would it have been more fitting if I sang it while adding some boy’s urine?" Yu Jingting was rather modest.
When it came to infuriating people, he never stopped practicing!
Zhang Zheng felt a sweetness in his throat and spat out a mouthful of blood; his vision turned black, and he passed out.
Yu Jingting bagged the bandits, tossed them in a tricycle, and along with the injured driver, hauled them off to the Police Station.
It was almost midnight by the time they finished their work. As he and Suizi left the Police Station, Suizi’s eyes suddenly lit up.
"I’ve got it! What my mom said about ’encountering metal leads to trouble’ wasn’t about the Gambling Stone Field, it was about Zhang Zheng, the ’Zheng’ sounds like ’metal’, right? He’s just bad luck personified, meeting him has been one hassle after another."
"So?"
"There’s a second part to my mom’s saying, try to remember, what was it?" Suizi’s eyes gleamed.
She’s headed for the Gambling Stone Field!
