After all, the books said that evil creatures were cunning and deceptive. A non-vigilant Hunter-Demon was likely to die quickly. And another thing, in the imagination of the townspeople, Hunter-Demons were definitely not young.

Among their conjured images, the only thing Zheng Yichen seemed to match was having a strong body. Beyond that, there wasn’t a single detail that fit with the townsfolk’s preconceived notions.

Could this young man really be a Hunter-Demon? Someone like him would be more suited to take part in the Knight’s selection.
