Although he had been treated for a long time, his condition was still critical, with severe memory loss and the inability to recognize even his loved ones.

She looked away, contemplating for a moment, and roughly calculated the formula of the perfume bottle.

She looked up and met the man’s unabashedly fixed stare.

She put down her phone and straightened up, "Did you want to talk?"

"Let’s talk outside." He whispered.

Chloe nodded and followed him to the balcony.

Alexander Foster casually grabbed a coat and draped it over her, pulling it tight.

Chloe lowered her gaze, about to say it was enough, but suddenly noticed the red string on his wrist, making her pause.

She thought he would only wear it for a short while before taking it off, but he had been wearing it all this time.

"You like this?" She asked.

Alex glanced at the bracelet and smiled, "I like everything you make."

Chloe quietly turned her gaze away, staring out into the dark night, "Get to the point if you have something to say."

Alex stood in the draft, blocking the chilly wind for her.

He chuckled before speaking, the shallow and light laughter lingered on his lips, possessing an enchanting charm, "Should I call you Miles White, hunt, or Primordial?"

Chloe paused and glanced at him sideways, calmly replying, "Just call me Senior, I like that better."

Thinking back, this man had never called her Senior.

When she was thirteen, she cared a lot about this matter because she won a bet but never got the reward she deserved.

A hint of amusement appeared in Alex’s eyes, "Do you really want to hear it that badly?"

Chloe turned her head and royally gazed at him, "That’s what you owe me."

He suddenly leaned down, staring at her petite face, and chuckled, "You’re such a calculating little girl."

Chloe’s eyelashes fluttered, looking into the man’s face, and the words she meant to say got stuck in her throat.

She turned her face forward again, "You probably have many questions to ask, what do you want to know?"

With that statement, she struck right at Alexander Foster’s heart.

Her thoughts were easily seen through by him.

He became more serious and slowly explained, "There’s a lot I want to know. I want to hear the stories of Primordial, hunt, and Miles White. I want to hear about Timmy Collins, and, more importantly, I want to know the real reason you came to the Fosters."

Upon hearing the last sentence, Chloe suddenly looked up at him.

Surprise and bewilderment flickered in her eyes.

"If you’re willing to talk, I’m happy to listen."

The same anticipation from that night appeared again in Alex’s eyes, glittering like stars.

Chloe slowly lowered her gaze and looked away, "I..."

"Hm?" He instinctively leaned closer, waiting for her to speak.

Chloe lowered her eyes and coolly replied, "Sorry, but I have nothing to say about these matters."

Instantly, the light in Alex’s eyes dimmed.

She asked, "If you already knew my motives for coming here, why didn’t you expose me to them?"

Alex smirked, "Because I have motives, too."

He paused before saying, "I want to see your face every day when I wake up, everything else is unimportant."

"If there is something on me that you’re looking for, it’s an honor for me."

A hint of surprise flickered briefly in Chloe’s clear eyes and disappeared.

In the midst of the quiet moment, the voice of Robert Foster suddenly rang—
