Chapter 434
The woman saw it shivering and her face showed concern.
"Master, is there a pet hospital nearby?"
"Yes, there’s one not far ahead."
"Could you please stop there for a while? It’s injured."
She lowered her head, looking left and right worrying, having no idea how this puppy got such a severe injury, and its wound was still bleeding.
It wasn’t making any noise either, it was very well-behaved.
After one traffic signal, she saw the pet hospital.
She led the puppy out of the car and took it inside.
The nurses inside saw them and quickly came over to greet her.
"What happened to this little darling? Here, put it here." The nurse gestured to a bed.
A male nurse then came over and gently lifted the Samoyed onto the bed.
The Samoyed didn’t resist, it was very compliant.
The woman felt relieved, and thinking about the urgent matters she had to attend to, she was about to leave.
"Hold on, Miss, could you please wait a moment!" The nurse stopped her.
The woman anxiously said, "I found this dog on the street, please take care of it, I need to go to the hospital to pick up my husband, I must leave now."
The nurses understood the situation, held back from detaining her, but for the sake of follow-up procedures, they asked her to leave a contact number.
The woman could do nothing but pick up a pen and fill in her name and number in the form handed by the nurse.
For the name field, she wrote her name: Leanne Bright.

In the afternoon, Chloe Collins arrived on time for the competitive review class.
When she and Wanda Wesley entered, for the first time, they didn’t see Raine Nolan.
Ever since they got Vanessa Brooke as the substitute, Raine has rarely been punctual.
Not long after, Lilian Pearce told them that Raine had already asked for leave and would not attend class today.
Chloe thought for a while and didn’t say anything.
After school in the afternoon, she returned home to the Fosters.
Layla Lowell’s foot injury had healed, and she didn’t need to be taken care of.
As soon as she got back, she wanted to play with the Samoyed which she hadn’t seen for a long time.
She searched the entire house but could not find it.
Evelyn Thompson happened to come back and told her that the little guy was taken out for a walk by the servants and had not returned.
She nodded her head and didn’t ask any further.
Later on, Robert Foster and Alexander Foster came back one after another, and like her, they asked about the dog, too.
Only then did Evelyn start to feel suspicious: "It’s already this late, and it still hasn’t returned?"
She quickly called the butler, asking him to inquire from the backyard.
Robert Foster casually sat down, munching on fruits, and said: "It must be Victor, being too playful or having seen a little female dog outside he doesn’t remember to come back."
He then turned to Alexander and asked: "Bro, should we get a companion for Victor?"
"Too early." Alexander lazily glanced at him, then shifted his gaze back to the girl seated at the other corner of the couch.
She was engrossed in her phone, her brows slightly furrowed, it didn’t seem like something good.
He glanced at the red rope bracelet on his wrist, it was very conspicuous, but he did not get a glance from her.
He never wore such things before.
But now, it looked more pleasing to his eyes.
He looked at her again, and his mind was filled with surprising scenes of her from these past few days.
The famous calligraphy master Primordial, the national hero Hacker Hunt, and the legendary perfumer, Miles White.
Be it any of these identities, it was enough to overshadow her peers.
But at that moment, he suddenly realized, the little girl that he wanted to protect six years ago, without him knowing, has grown from a sturdy little plant into a towering and fearless tree.
