Chapter 1707
"They are still hell-bent on listing their family’s vaccine, oblivious even as the fire licks at their eyebrows. How foolish," a subordinate chuckled.
Valleys let out a few derisive snorts, "Set up a meeting, tell them I am giving them one last chance."
Afternoon tea time.
Inside the tea room, Valleys’ all-black, tightly-fitting outfit drew attention.
Across from him, Milton White wore fresh and lightly-colored clothes, adorned with glasses.
"So, have you made a decision?"
Valleys asked softly.
Milton White remained calm and collected, "You want to mass-produce a virus; why should I help you with that?"
"That means you are refusing."
"The Whites aren’t a charity. If you want cooperation, show some sincerity," he said slowly.
Valleys arrogantly declared, "Of course, how could I let you work for nothing? As long as you agree to work together, all the previous offers I promised your family will stand, and in addition, I’ll deliver the woman you love right to you."
He smiled, "You’ve always had a fondness for Chloe Collins, haven’t you?"
Milton White sneered lightly.
A glimmer in his phoenix eyes hid his thoughts.
"I accept this deal," he stated.
Valleys laughed heartily; in his view, Milton White was now at a dead end and had no choice but to accept.
"Good! Three days from now, I want the first batch of goods, and then once a week thereafter, the more the better!"
Milton White replied, "No problem."
Valleys, looking at him, was reminded of something, "The immunity medicine I gave to you and your father, did you not take it?"
That night, he had distinctly seen Milton White swallow the pill.
At that time, Milton White initially intended to give that pill to Alexander Foster.
Valleys had watched from the shadows, a trace of glee in his heart, for the pill contained his parasitic worm; no matter who among the two ingested it, it would be useful to him.
However, Alexander Foster hadn’t accepted Milton White’s good intentions and casually let Milton White swallow it instead.
That was what he had seen with his own eyes.
But lately, when he tried to control Milton White, he found it utterly ineffective.
The parasitic worm was not inside him!
After hearing the question, Milton White’s lips curled into a slight smile, "If there’s nothing else, I’ll be leaving first."
Although he didn’t answer the question, his mind recalled the events of that night.
Indeed, he had been given the pill by Alexander Foster.
Yet, he hadn’t swallowed it. After getting into the car, he spat it right out.
At that time, he had not suspected the pill contained a parasite; he simply didn’t want to take it.
Luckily, this decision turned out to be fortunate beyond expectation.
After leaving the tea room, he headed back to the Whites’ home.
In the basement, he sat alone in a chair, facing a robot that looked exactly like Chloe Collins.
His thoughts were deep, as if he were reminiscing something.
"Don’t worry, since I am your Senior, I won’t harm you."
The robot didn’t respond to him, its face gentle, maintaining a smile.

Southwest Military District.
Two individuals, dressed in identical uniforms, followed a patrol squad on their routine rounds of the camp.
Alexander Foster felt a light touch from Charles Carrington behind him. A voice followed, "Have you confirmed the location?"
Alexander Foster gave no verbal reply but raised two fingers, gesturing in a particular direction.
Charles Carrington glanced that way and nodded silently.
Having followed Theodore Collins’s drone here, they quickly lost its signal upon arrival and decided to blend into the military district to investigate.
Currently, Alexander Foster had pinpointed a location—the very place where the Mutated People were holding their prisoners.
