Raine Nolan was crouched at the entrance of the stairs, covering her mouth and crying in pain. Her skinny frame resembled that of a person tormented by hunger in war-torn times.

The heartless words of the Spence family were no different than a dagger stabbing her heart, or even worse!

She finally understood there wasn’t an ounce of pity for her within this family. They were all beasts in human skin!

She had made up her mind, she would not divorce!

That night, she paid attention to nothing else but making the incense.

She looked up in panic and saw members of the Spence family standing at the doorway!

"Give it back!" Raine lunged at her, trying to get her things back.

Sophia Spence deftly dodged her, pointing at her face, "You must have poisoned these! Well, you poisonous woman! Trying to kill our entire family? I tell you, you’re finished! Utterly finished!

You should have just quietly signed the divorce papers. You could have at least left with some money. Now I am going to make you leave empty-handed!"

"You’re talking nonsense! I didn’t!" She screamed loudly.

Mrs. Spence said coldly, "Raine! You remain evasive even at this moment! I knew from the start that you were ruthless, but I never imagined that after all these years, you would remain the same!

We installed surveillance in your room. We know clearly what you were doing in the first half of the night!"

Raine’s pupils contracted sharply and her legs gave way. She collapsed to the ground with a thud!
