As Chloe took a slow step forward, she raised her eyebrows, "No, I don’t want them to think I’m the kind of woman who complains to her husband for justice."

He squeezed her fingers and let out an exasperated laugh, "You don’t want your husband to be your rock?"

Chloe smiled mischievously, "Hmm, let me think."

Three seconds later, he asked, "Decided yet?"

"No."

Eighteen seconds later, he asked again.
