Alex nods at her, indicating that she should go rest.

She maintains her distance, not coming any closer, saying, "Grandpa, farewell."

The simple farewell seems to contain a thousand words; a deeper meaning is hidden in her eyes, reflecting an unwillingness to admit defeat, dissatisfaction, and the courage to resist fate.

Master Foster understands, slowly casting his gaze away, not daring to look any further. At the moment of turning around, a sigh laden with helplessness escapes his lips, and a hint of melancholy flashes in his eyes.

Alex personally sees Master Foster off, but where exactly they are going, Chloe did not ask.

She remains awake, sitting quietly on the couch. The night wind is chilly, sweeping over her skin, making her ever more awake.

An hour later, she receives a message from Alex: ’I’ll be back tomorrow night.’

Later, the person who went with Alex returns and tells her that Master Foster suddenly felt uncomfortable before boarding the plane and gripped Alex’s hand tightly, thereby compelling Alex to return to Grearon.

In the afternoon, Chloe stands at the gate of the Duke’s Mansion, expressing her wish to visit Mane York by ringing the doorbell.

In her hand she holds some gifts, mimicking the customs of ordinary visitors, not neglecting the proper etiquette because of the circumstances.

About twenty minutes later, the majestic front door opens, and a steward with white hair walks out, inviting her in, "Miss Collins, please come in."
