The feeling was quite hot, and also quite inviting to sleep.

From the research lab to the parking lot was just a three to five-minute walk. She nestled against Alex’s chest the entire way, unable to resist closing her eyes, and before long, she was drowsy.

When she woke up the next day, opening her eyes to find herself in the Foster’s bedroom, she glanced at the time -- it was nine-thirty in the morning.

She had slept very well.
