Hero Hack: Reversing Heroes and Raising Harem -
Chapter 63: Call Me Big Sis
Chapter 63: Call Me Big Sis
Zain was rummaging through the fridge, pulling out a container and squinting at the label.
Savra leaned lazily against the wall nearby, arms crossed, still smirking from their earlier exchange.
But then—
SLAM.
Zelia’s door swung open with a thud.
She stepped out, hair messy, face blank, eyes dark with fatigue.
Savra straightened a little. "Good morning, Zelia."
Zain glanced over. "Morning, big sis—"
Both of them froze when they saw her expression.
Her eyes were bloodshot.
Her aura?
Murderous.
"...What happened?" Zain asked cautiously.
Zelia didn’t blink.
Then she shouted.
"It’s because of YOU two—fucking!"
Both Zain and Savra flinched at the volume.
Zelia pointed furiously. "You were too loud last night!"
Zain’s face twitched. "Even with the door closed...?"
"I had earmuffs on, Zain. EARMUFFS." she snapped.
"I still heard the slamming! The moaning! The headboard banging! The floor shaking!"
Savra turned away, coughing to hide her red cheeks. "...Sorry."
Zain cleared his throat. "Yeah. Uh. Our bad."
Zelia threw her arms up. "I couldn’t sleep at all!"
She stormed into the kitchen, yanking the fridge open with way more force than necessary.
"If you’re going to do that again," she muttered, pulling out juice.
"I’m sleeping outside. Or I’m getting an actual soundproof bunker."
Zain and Savra exchanged an awkward glance.
Zain sighed and stepped forward. "Alright, alright. I’ll fix it, sis."

Zelia blinked.
She stopped mid-sip as something pulsed gently through her chest, her arms, her face.
The tension in her neck vanished. Her body felt warm, light, and fresh.
"...Wait," she muttered.
"What just—?"
Zain leaned against the counter, wiping sweat from his brow.
"One of my abilities."
He gave a tired smile. "I healed you."
Zelia stared at him for a second, then smiled softly.
"...Thanks, Zain."
She stretched her arms.
"I feel even better than before. You’ve got my forgiveness now."
Zain exhaled. "Finally."
Savra stepped closer, looking Zelia up and down with raised eyebrows.
"Whoa. She looks even better than yesterday."
Zelia giggled. "My skin feels smoother too."
Savra turned to Zain, smirking.
"Hey. Can you do that to me next?"
Zain’s expression dropped instantly.
He frowned. Hard.
"Absolutely not."
Savra raised her eyebrow. "Why not?"
"Because even for Zelia, who’s maybe C-Rank at best, using that took a toll."
He pointed at his own face. "Do I look energized to you?"
Savra tilted her head. "A little pale."
"Exactly," he snapped.
"If I tried that on you, someone stronger than me, I’d be dead before the process finished."
Savra pouted. "Tch. So dramatic."
Zain turned away. "You want to look good? Drink more water."
Zelia laughed from the table.
"He’s serious, Savra. He made me a green juice mix once. It was gross but it worked."
Savra muttered, "I’d rather die than drink green sludge."
Zain shrugged. "Then stop complaining."
---
Zelia, fully refreshed, moved around the kitchen with ease.
She cracked eggs into a pan, flipped bacon strips and loaded the toaster with ease.
Soon, the table was filled with warm plates.
Eggs, toast, bacon, sautéed mushrooms, seasoned tomatoes, and even a side of cut fruit.
She smirked proudly, placing the last plate in front of Zain and Savra.
"This is for healing me," she said, untying her apron behind her back.
"Eat a lot. Refill your energy."
Zain smiled. "Thanks, big sis."
He immediately started eating.
Savra took a bite of the bacon and blinked.
"Okay... wow. This is really good."
Zelia gave a smug nod.
"Of course. I’ve been cooking since our mother passed away."
Savra’s chewing slowed slightly.
She glanced between them, then asked quietly.
"Your mother... Was she kind?"
Zain paused, mid-bite.
His expression didn’t shift, but his hand lowered slightly.
Zelia, too, froze for a moment—but then smiled faintly.
"She was... the best part of our lives."
"She used to hum while cooking. Always gave Zain the crispiest bacon."
Zain gave a tiny smirk. "She burned mine on purpose."
Zelia giggled. "You loved it."
Savra smiled softly. "She sounds wonderful."
Then her voice dropped just slightly. "And your father?"
Zain’s fork stopped halfway to his mouth.
Zelia’s eyes darkened.
"Let’s not talk about him," she muttered.
She picked up her glass and sipped, staring at the table.
"Even now, just thinking about him makes my chest burn."
"I used to imagine killing him. Over and over. In a hundred different ways."
Zain’s voice was cold. "You don’t need to imagine it anymore."
"He’s dead. Gone in dogs’ stomach."
Zelia nodded slowly.
"And if he ever came back, I’d kill him myself. Again. And again."
The silence lingered a moment too long.
Savra lowered her gaze, then smiled gently. "I see..."
She lifted her glass. "Let’s just enjoy the meal."
But the weight of the past still hung in the room like smoke.
The mood was thick and heavy until Savra suddenly clapped her hands together.
"Alright! Time to shift gears."
Zelia blinked, caught off guard.
Savra grinned. "Today, we’re going on a holiday."
Zelia blinked again. "A holiday?"
Savra nodded confidently.
"Yeah. We’re heading to BB-1. One of the top districts."
"Time to get out of this dusty zone and breathe actual rich people air."
Zelia blinked fast.
"But... we can’t go there. We’re from the slum zone."
"We’re not even allowed past the gates without a clearance."
Savra smirked, brushing her hair back.
"Don’t worry about it. I’ve got connections."
She leaned over and winked.
"Call me big sis, and I’ll make the gates open for you."
Zelia laughed, almost choking on her toast.
"Big sis Savra?"
Savra struck a mock-proud pose.
"That’s right."
Zelia blinked, a bit flustered, then grinned back.
"Big Sis Savra."
Savra gave a proud nod.
"See? That wasn’t hard."
Zain kept chewing calmly, glancing up only briefly.
"Didn’t think you’d recruit my real sister before you tried that with me."
Savra smirked.
"You’re not the type to say ’big sis’ without getting on your knees. I’ll wait."
Zain raised an eyebrow. "Keep waiting."
Zelia covered her mouth, trying not to laugh.
The mood lifted. Just enough.
