The Broodlings and Sporeguards rushed at Zain, their claws out and eyes glowing.

They leaped at him, but their claws scratched only his skin.

The Sporelord’s eye glowed, bile dripping from its mouth.

Dozens of new Broodlings and Sporeguards poured out, eyes red and claws sharp.
